From what I have learned J None was actually part of the group he joined in 2018 and then left in may 2021 to be part of the navy choir, then Caesar joined the group in July of that same year❕❗ They told J None that he will always be part of voiceplay even if it's not physically in the group and always try to feature him whenever they can when he ain't out singing for the navy❕❗
I wouldn’t hold my breath about them touring, but if you want to see them live you’d have a chance in November. They’ll be doing two nights at a casino in Atlantic City in concert with Chicago. The concerts are being filmed for streaming toward the end of the year.
Voiceplay is keeping up the 1980s feel with this video. It is in reference to the 1980s crime drama series "Miami Vice," not Disney. Phil Collins even played a key suspect in one of the episodes. This song was playing on Miami Vice.
Awesome reaction you two. Just found out earlier that J None got promoted to Musician 1 (MU1). His new post is near Washington DC instead of Washington. He will be singing with the Sea Changers Chorus as a Bass Vocalist. Voiceplay wants him back as well. And so does all his and Voiceplay fans. Speaking of Geoff... He just started working with Pattycake Productions a few weeks ago on a new video. He will be the lead and several characters. Pattycake has been trying to get him to do one of their videos. He always said no unless he is the lead character(s). I can't tell you anymore than this. Sorry. But I do know what the video is.
You do know that J.None was a member of VoicePlay I suppose? He left in 2021 as the US Navy invited hi to sing with their Northwest regional Navy band. He has just been promoted to sing bass with the Premier Navy Band Sea Chanters. So he will be based in the Washington area , closer to Florida of course. There is no word yet on whether he will rejoin VP after his five years are up. VP have recently done Creep, and the lastest one was Drunken Sailor.
J None's still got 2 1/2 yrs to go in the Navy. Lots of us are hoping he will be back perfectly. This was Phil Collins song about his divorce. He has said he barely knew what he was writing. It is an amazing song and his Paris concert of this is astounding. I couldn't believe my ears when VoicePlay did this. How lucky can you get? Do check out Seven Nation Army, Creep and Drunken Sailor. Love to hear your comments on these!
Also part of the soundtrack to the old TV show "Miami Vice". I couldn't find anywhere where "In The Air Tonight" was used in a Disney film,. He has done a handful of songs for Disney though, , most popular being 'You'll Be In My Heart" from "Tarzan".
Geogg said in an interview with Peter Barber that they most likely won't be going on tour because they were getting too old ( mid 40's , Cesar being the youngest ) to do all that traveling plus they won't have the time to make amazing video for their fans & travel at the same time.
Phil Collins did a number of songs for Disney Movies, but this was never in a Disney movie. He wrote this song after a rough divorce with his X-Wife. It was however in Risky Business and Miami Vice.
It s not from a disney movie 🙄 Phil Collins do a sountrack for tarzan and brother bears But this song is not in Disney But maybe you ears this for Miami Vice Edit : not pausing during Layne solo ☹️☹️☹️☹️
When you pause to comment during a song, please back the video up a few seconds so you don't miss something - like the iconic drum solo you paused in the middle of, and didn't go back for.
I’ve found that a lot of people 30 or younger aren’t familiar with the song and don’t understand the significance of the drum solo. It’s just old heads - like myself. 😂😂

J. None is actually a former 5th member of VoicePlay. They have never replaced him and have been down to 4 permanent members ever since.
Coz J is coming back when he gets out of the Navy!

I can't wait for that to come out.

They nailed it!!!

As people say he was member but he left for the Navy. Also This song was used as Cadbury ad song with a Gorilla doing the drums in uk and Australia.

Happy Belated Birthday🎂🎁🎈

The song from Tarzan is you'll be in my heart.
Disney song? This is from the soundtrack to Miami Vice (circa 1983 or 1984?). That's why they really tried to recreate that 80's feel.
It s not from a disney movie 🙄

I was saying that when they paused 😢
You paused it during Layne's iconic drum solo? Really?
They obviously aren’t very familiar with this song. He thought it was in a Disney movie lol

It's from the movie Risky Business
