Can you make a video analysis of a Anthony Height`s jump? Dude is 5`6 slim and almost touching the rim with the head. Very interesting to know what is his secret
My max touch in college was 12’6” and that was putting water on my hand and then slapping it on the glass and then measuring with a tape measure. At 6’6” tall I could perfectly hit my head on the rim. 13’3” is great though. With a standing reach so high, I would expect his max touch to be even a little bit higher.
It was written on the score. But here according to wiki. “The UT Arlington Mavericks men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Sun Belt Conference. Gerald Green and James White can also get their entire head above the rim with over 9ft standing reaches so they could probably also touch the top of the backboard if not very close.
Could literally be a new KD if he trains with outside scoring and handles. Haven’t seen handles but he could be one of the be biggest threats as a big man especially with that vert!
Wilt probably had a 40" vert maybe 41" for his best jump ever. The evidence I found for this is a photo of him blocking a shot for Kansas with his head at rim level, but his body is angled, neck bent way back, and arms up in the air or out to the side. Doing the math for accounting for these factors should be around 40" for a 12'10" or 12'11" touch. Doug Thomas could touch 13' James White could probably touch 13'. To prove the reach is legit, all he needs to do is have someone with a tape measure - measure the top of the backboard as 13ft, and put a foam roller on the top of the backboard (like pro dunkers do on the top of the rim, and then they jump and knock the roller off the top of the rim with their head to show their head is higher than the rim), and have him run, jump, and with the 13'3" reach, he's got 3 inches to easily knock the foam roller off the top of the backboard. Thats a box jump not max vertical jump
