Short and effective - the effects, sets, models and (obviously) B&W feels very 60s but having moving shots, Dutch angles, and POV of the monitor Sav is watching makes it really feel like its own thing.
The President's acting was definitely a high point for me

You should be the one to take over as show runner when RTD steps down again. In just over 12 minutes and without an appearance by The Doctor, this has somehow managed to feel more like Doctor Who than anything RTD or Moffat ever produced. At the very least, RTD should be considering Barnabas Sharp as a new series composer as he's managed to combine the eeriness of classic Doctor Who music with the more bombastic style of Murray Gold, finding a happy medium between the 2 extremes. It was a little odd hearing the Dalek wheels trundling along but actually, I think it works as they obviously would have wheels and not just be floating (hence the reason they couldn't get up or down stairs for so long, have you tried taking a trolley up or down stairs? It's not impossible but not pleasant). Great work from all involved and I hope the same team can come together to do more, maybe with John as the Hartnell Doctor.

THIS is what I waiting for! A visual fan production with no bad acting and at least Classic era sets, costumes, etc. Great Sound design, great visuals. It was just, great! Most fan productions sadly have either acting that is so bad or at least has super bad audio design/mixing, or awful costumes that are just laughable. Rather than classic eras bad costumes that were at least crafted with love and effort but just getting a costume for a quid at Poundland. Really takes you out of the episode and makes it essentially unwatchable. It’s not about budget and I think Doctor Who both classic and new has shown that, it’s about great talent at every level with a passion for the project.

I loved how the Dalek said "A kind-ness" full of menace! I totally thought you had persuaded Nick Briggs to do the Dalek voices as they sounded so much like him! That was impressive Josh! I love how such a rich story as Master Plan can inspire even more stories to surround it! I hope you do more, this was wonderful

This is an amazing work with a lot of clear love for the source.
The noise of the dalek prop moving, the jakiness of it's movements.
The use of model shots for the city.
Even the voice for the dalek sounds similar to the dalek voices from the 60's
    Bravo!

This fan film is the best fan film I’ve ever seen. The attention to detail into making it like the 60’s series is amazing, the actors did a great job too, it’s almost like one of the missing episodes. Well done everyone it’s superb. 👌🏻

Absolutely amazing. The visuals were almost art nouveau with the lighting and camera work more than impressive. I have seen early 1920's films from European countries and the style was so reminiscent of those. The angles used for filming were artistic and very effective as was the use of focusing in and out of shot. More than anything this shows that creativity and artistic genius and win out over glossy heavily digitalised excess. It is so delightful to watch something that captures a mood and an environment through the more innate talents of the people responsible. There is too much special effects in today's movie industry. Whilst it might make for spectacle it doesn't necessary create motion and mood. The what I call Marvel motion overload. The real world from a daily perspective of life is not spectacular. If in a film all you present is spectacle than after a while I feel it loses something more tangible and important. Spectacle becomes predictable and boring. Congratulations to all who were involved in this mini masterpiece. A very impressive and powerful piece of DW drama achieved in just over 12 minutes. This was a genuinely fantastic discovery.

Perfectly distils the clawing claustrophobia of the first Doctor's era, most notably Mission to the Unknown, for the 60th anniversary. Congratulations! VWORP! VWORP!

Great work by all involved. You really captured the spirit of the show and the time it was made. I love the (miniature) city shots; the central tower is reminiscent of a Dalek in silhouette (not a coincidence I am sure). The Dalek is great. Daleks are just such a perfect design I never tire of watching them and your Dalek looks terrific! The vocal performance and dialogue in particular is perfectly manipulative and single minded. Great, great work. (If only the current BBC Dr Who were half this good in any respect...)
I work in film and know how hard it is to do this stuff. You should be very proud of this!

Captured the threat and ruthlessness of the Daleks more poignantly in under 15 minutes, than most of the last few decades of canonical Doctor Who. Really appreciate the tie-in to Dalek's Master Plan at the end too.
