Just imagine how we "old folk" reacted to this the first time WE heard it many, many moons ago. We were blown away because it was SO stinking different from what we were used to hearing... Love your reactions, by the way.
The lyrics in this one - they are killer. Especially the part about missing the starting gun, far out that gets to me every time. Loved seeing your reaction to the solo too, it's crazy looking back thinking how when we were younger I thought all music was this good because we were so lucky to be surrounded by it all the time.
Make yourself comfortable in a dark room, with your headphones on, and enjoy this entire album in one go. It is an experience worth having at least once in your life. I suggest you do the same experiment with at least the following albums: (Wish You Were Here) - (Animals) - (The Wall) and (The Division Bell).
this is the kind of a reaction I can get behind ..I started listening to this album when it was already 10 years old which coincidently my age as well .. it is the first Pink Floyd concept album I had heard and it was not the last .. ... not sure if you want to try but listening to the song with the lyrics might be a great way to appreciate them even more .. take care and stay safe
This was the song we used to test speakers with back in the day. The bass had to be clean, the treble had to be clear. And it had to be loud, like really loud.
Awesome. Anyone that'll react to the 32 min live dazed and confused is definitely doing what i wanna see. David Gilmour is why i always wanted, and now do, play a stratocaster

From now on this is the album you will put on when you want to escape the world.
Wish You Were Here 👍👍👍
David Gilmour is the GOAT!
he was so young when he joined floyd, 21. while syd was 21/22 the year he left the band i 68. they were kids
you waited patiently through ticking moments that make up the dull day (in the beginning of the track).Bravo!
HEY YOU! 👌🏼
That guitar solo hits like a freight train.

The same to me. Now when reach 40 the lyrics is incredible. Unfortunately i missed the starting gun.
Now listen to this song again WITH the lyrics...trust me on that.
Thank you for your reaction. Time is short, and getting shorter all the time😀👍❤️✌️🌼

Loving this. Keep it going!
This song is why roto-toms were invented.

you need to watch the entire PULSE concert, Trust me.... TIME look up the words to this song, very deep.....
Gotta listen to welcome to the machine
The older you get the more profound the lyrics are, it's short don't waste it.
Do you mean "...and then one day you find TEN years have got behind you"? :((((
