- The Z-Man crosseyez chatterbait was made for bank fishing. The weedless design allows it to come over wood a LOT better than a normal chatterbait. It has two small wires that protect the hook when it rolls on the side. I was able to target bass on the edges and above grass lines! The gear reviews and tips are top notch and definitely something to stick with. Your reviews are in depth and fair, your tips are from you ACTUALLY using the set up and lure mentioned, not some guy reciting what he was told to for the camera. The commenting thing, not sure I only found your videos about 2 weeks ago, I enjoy them because you are a bank angler like myself, not a guy out in a boat with thousands in equipment fishing for big fish in a stocked pond (then they pretend like theyve never been there pffft). But yeah man, keep doing what youre doing, Im loving it.,
The rod and reel first impressions are a must. Recap the lures what you've observed and learned makes your videos unique. I find your videos honest and genuine if you had a great day you'd tell us what worked. If you had not such a great day you'd still explain why. I like the current format because I know what to expect in every video.

Great video as always. Congrats on the Tackle Warehouse partnership. I use to buy tons from them, but had a bunch or problems with my account. The account needing to be reset, I lost all my order history. After the 3rd time of that happening, and the hassle, along with not a lot of help from them, outside of resetting my account again, I gave up on ordering from them. I’m sure just a drop in the bucket for them. I actually tried to help and be understanding to the process, as an IT guy by day I get the struggle when someone’s not doing it right. My account kept disappearing- which was not an end user issue. Anyway, I do Hope they fixed that issue, not having access to other history has been a pain for a few warranty claims - thank god Abu customer service is awesome!!
started using this chatterbait about 6 months ago. Really enjoy it and i think it works very well. Most likely will be the chatterbait i go to when im not using the real cheap chatterbaits.

The Top Water Frog bite has been slow for me also, but a weightless Ribbit Toad dragged over pads and dropped in holes has been a big surprise for me this year. I like the combo talk at the end. What I would love to see is when you are out feeshin, talk for a minute about how you are going to fish the lure before you cast it. A breakdown of why you chose the lure you're going to throw and how you are going to work it would be awesome.

nice video @debosfishing. i havent been throwing the chatterbait right now because its very grassy where i typically fish. might have to give those a try. i think the gear breakdown at the end of the video has been a huge addition. i honestly wish everyone did it. Definitely keep the shout out, it seems like a sincere act that you care about the community you have built. The rod line reel recap is a great finishing touch and has caused me to look at different rod options.
I've only ever had luck with the crosseyez chatterbait! No other kind has worked for me yet. And after snagging two jackhammers within 10 total casts, this will be the one I stick with.
I 1,000,000% agree that the frog bite has been off. The only nice thing about that, is that I’ve been forced to try things like the Buzzbait, whopper plopper, and walking bait. Keep up the good work, and if you’re ever in the dsm area we should fish together!
I like the gear review after for sure, I’m my opinion, it helps understand what and where you are fishing. You may chose a different combo for the same lure in a different are that you are fishing. So it definitely helps me better understand why you chose what you chose.

There sure is nothing like summer bass fishing best part about it is frog season where i live in New Brunswick Canada and it looks like you had a great time on the water that is what is all about!
I haven’t had any bites on a frog since early spring. One friend pulled up a 4.5 pound bass in June, but neither of us had had much luck since. We’ve both had a really good year with wacky worms though!

Started watching this and it got me so pumped to catch fish I grabbed my gear and ran out the door before work for a couple hours ! Got a couple on a Chatterbait but a wakebait and walking bait got the most action before sun up . Great videos
Yes! That is my go to chatter now... the 2 wires are key, it has good keepers, also I throw alot of black bladed chatters and I noticed there black blades are like an iodized blade or whatever u call it haha but it's not paint that will wear off... I would change your snaps on it though! ✌

The top water bite has been abysmal here in Northern Illinois here too. Maybe because it has been so darn hot? I have only caught like 2 frog fish all year, don't even know why I keep it tied on. Oh yeah, because frog hits of any kind are awesome!

That Crosseyez Chatterbait is pretty hard to beat for fishing around any sticks or hard cover, specially this time of year when many of the fish are suspended.
