Really appreciate the realistic approach you bring to fishing. Never afraid of showing the snags, reel breaks, rod tip breaks you keep it real on your channel. The true day in the life of a bank angler...😀
Thanks for showing the real stuff, Debo! I appreciate that you don't just edit out all of the snags, broken lines, dinks, missed fish, etc. It makes me feel much better when I have a "real", "normal", unedited day! (That is, every time!)
I love that I get to wake up, have a coffee and watch a viDebo before I get to working. Just sets the day up.! Thank you Debo, just watching fishing sometimes geta a person out of that head space, I know that you have done that for me. Thank you. Love out of South Africa 🇿🇦
This goes in tune with Saturdays discussion! You put reality out! Dinks, normal dude that just loves fishing, and snags... lots of snags! Thanks for the vids!
Thank you for another great one. I like your honesty in showing that not everyday will be good and not every fish is a big one but like you said just getting out there is what’s it’s all about. It does wonders for the soul.
I fish some very pressured water full of wood...where the trees at the bank are full of bobbers, lures and line..like fishin' Christmas trees..Lol, part of feeshin'!! Tonight I got my first big blow up on the frog in a newish pond and it was a giant! So cool, love the Vega frog!!! Thanks for the frog bug Debo!
Thanks for showing the struggles we all have donated plenty tackle to our local fishing holes awesome to keep such a positive about it keep your head up and the heat coming 🎣🎣🔥🔥
You’ve gained a subscriber! I appreciate you sharing an actual fishing trip. Loosing lures and snagging hooks are my life story. A lot of UA-camrs don’t show the irritating and sad side of fishing. I had a bad day yesterday trying to fish and lost jigs and hooks on grass and trees, and they never touched the water, the wind was blowing them back 😑 the life of a bank fisherman. Looking forward to more great videos from you! 🤗
Love that you post all the content and not like most just catching big one. I would rather catch dinks all day than just one big one. Keep up the badass work man. Til next time 👊
I'm glad I was able to find your channel. I'm a bank fisher picking up the pastime of fishing after being away from it for years. Your tips are helpful!
When out Wednesday night, Lee County, Southeast Iowa lake. Going for some big gills. Lost 3 hooks and line on three large gills. They could have been largemouth, but the way they bit, I think gills. Broke off each one and had to retie. Only out for about two and one half hours. Still worth the time and the effort, caught ten gills and one nice largemouth. Five of the gills were over nine inches and one was a really nice ten incher. Keep up the good work and have a great day.
That was a fun trip. Plus, look st all the practice you got retying and setting up your rig😁. I have entire months like that. Not just occasional trips. ✌️
I have had plenty days like that. Throwing a square bill shallow has been the deal for me this summer, that said lord knows how many 13 fishing jabber jaws and KVD 1.5’s I’ve lost…🤬🤬😭😭🤷♂️. Love your channel brother. I do almost all my fishing from the bank…pond hopping, some days the struggle is real! If it makes you feel better I’ve had 1 top water bass all summer..I saw in another video you made the comment that some haters were saying it’s easy to catch from a pond…they don’t know a damn thing. Ignore them. Your reviews, tips, and content are awesome. Keep grinding. Keep your head up.
Dang Debo I admire your patience, I would have lost my mind, and said every swear word in the book, probably would’ve broke my rod, threw said rod in lake, and who knows what else if I got hung up that much lol 😅
Hey debo I use Zoom Zlinky for wacky rigs, they have awesome action but very soft. I found when you do your double O ring trick on the worm itself, it rips into the worm a tiny bit, then basically starts ripping it in half as you cast and retrieve it. So I learned to crisscross the rings with the hook on the skinnier section of the wacky tool and then slide it up onto the worm. So easy!
Last week on my Canada trip, I snapped off a drop shot, a ned rig, and then a wacky rig in rapid succession, so I feel that snag pain! Still a fun day!!
Literally just had a day like this on my last trip a couple days ago, minus actually catching any fish… caught some trees, lost a chatterbait, a swim jig and a couple worms… c’est la vie sometimes 🤷🏽♂️ haha
I'm amazed how you have so much bank to fish. I'm in NE Pennsylvania and if I want an area to fish I have to bring a machete to clear that area. Then you have to deal with poison ivy. Not always joyous and get snagged a lot, but I still do it.
Hey Debo..! Just joined your channel a couple of weeks ago and I’m devouring your vids. It’s refreshing to find cool and relaxed dudes like yourself sharing all this pond knowledge and everyday mishaps with us. I speak for myself, but I think there’s a lot of grateful people that enjoy learning from grounded guys like you the everyday stuff that other channels won’t share. Greetings from México.
Great video Debo. Hey a bunch of dinks is better than nothing thats for sure. The one thing about us bank anglers is we loose alot of lures unfortunately. God Bless and tight lines.
6th Sense still has summer discounts going on so I went ahead and got some of those worms! I've never had as many snags as you but on your "grinder" day you still caught more than my grinders so I tip my hat to you good sir :)
Yo wait, I remember the sheet thing. I used to watch you watch back when I didn’t have a phone. I would watch on an iPad. When I got my phone and a google account I didn’t remember about you until like a year ago when you showed up in my recommended.
Sup. Love whacky rig. Cought bunch of bass, too bad lost some and lost tackle. Tough day but any bass counts👍. Wood piles are tough. Never saw a whacky worm tool? Like the spinning combo. Ty tc
I have had many days like that. I break off a lot too. I don’t mind it so much if I am catching fish or I have used a rig for awhile, I just hate to break off the first or second time I cast a new rig 😐 Good video!!
Uhh...yeah! The last time I went fishing I lost all but one of my favorite lures due to snags. That's the way it goes. Now, if I could just find a store that stocks those lures. LOL! Hope you have a great day and thanks for the freeshin vid!
I feel you with those snagged lures. I lose more lures than I catch fish. I'm on par with the dinks too. Last time I went out, I caught a 3/4 pounder and the other one was even smaller, probably 1/2 pounder or less.
I went to same stretch of river near me a bunch of times the last couple weeks. One of the trips I lost a lot of rigs for some reason. Was getting snagged on everything. Usually I know how to fish the area and don’t have a problem with losing Ned rigs to snags but that day it was a different story.
I've started rigging my wacky rig like Gene Jenson mentioned in a video this year, using a small piece of clear shrink tube, then putting the hook through the shrink tube.I get get tired of dealing with a tool, and rings.Enjoyed the video Debo, thank you!
The horizontal hook placement where the hook goes across the Senko instead of in the same direction of the Senko is what intrigues. I’ve seen Debo do that double ring crossed over and sticking the hook in the cross to get the same effect and I tried it and can’t manage it. Seems to be more of a PITA than it’s worth. So the shrink wrap has been ordered from Amazon. Can’t wait to try it. Also: those wacky jigs he uses? See those missed fish? Not surprised. My hookup ratio with them is meh. And they do get snagged a lot, like Debo saw. Been using Gammy weedless wacky, not bad at all. But this summer actually have been having more luck t-rigging senkos with a 1/16 oz weight (screw-in, like Mr. Martin does it) and throwing it into weed pockets. Can fish much more water, deeper into cover where the feesh have been hiding, at least in my lakes. But when they are biting so close to shore like Debo had, yup, wacky is the way to go!
@@DavidBronstein1961 Watch Flukemaster's video on wacky rigs. He fishes mostly from a boat or kayak but also has a different take on wacky rigs than Debo. I think everyone should watch both of their videos and figure out what's best for them.
@@JesseG085 will do. And as an aside for anyone who disses Senkos, watch latest Glen Blanchard tournament vid. He crushed a few fish on frogs but when the bite slowed, out came the Senko (and also a drop shot) to get his limit and also I think a few culls.
My trips are exactly like this…except less fish catches 😩🤣 but I did catch a crappie the size of my #14 sneaker, pretty good for my little eastern pa lake 🤷🏻♂️
Really appreciate the realistic approach you bring to fishing. Never afraid of showing the snags, reel breaks, rod tip breaks you keep it real on your channel. The true day in the life of a bank angler...😀
That was the BEST fishing video on the net. IT WAS REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loving your videos Debo, down to earth and just having fun with it. Kudos dude, keep plugging!
LOVE the outro music. 👍👍
Thank you for another great one. I like your honesty in showing that not everyday will be good and not every fish is a big one but like you said just getting out there is what’s it’s all about. It does wonders for the soul.
I’m there with you boss. Wacky rigs and Ned rigs usually save me from the good old skunk.
The good ole wacky rig never fails
DEEBO just want you to know your the best in UA-cam!!!! So down to earth!!!!! Keep the vids coming and come to Michigan
Awesome video!!! Love the message you gave at the end!!👏🏾

Always a good video with Debo fishing 👍👊
Catching any fish is always better than working lol. I always enjoy watching you and your videos.

I wish the temps down here we're in the 70's already, Thanks to the old Yum curly tail on Teq-sunrise has been my savior 😁 during this month.
Tackle warehouse is gonna love you!! You have to buy a bunch of new stick baits!! 😂 --- Great vids!! Keep it up Debo!!!
real world fishing that's our Debo keep up the truth !

The Dink-Meister!! Good video Debo!!! Love some 6th sense baits too.
Lets go!!! Love the 6th sense hat and big bite shirt
I really appreciate you sharing a true grind day! Even showing the thousand hang up and break off! LOL be there done that! Great vid!
Getting wacky with it!
5:30 the sigh of disappointment, I do that every time.
I use the small rubber bands that come on produce. Double up a few times and slide on using a ballpoint pen tube, they work great!
Yep many days like that, started putting a folding saw on side of my tackle bag for those really rough days! Thanks for the video!
I've definitely had days like that, sometimes with no fish caught. Way to persevere Debo.
Glad to know that I’m not the only one that fishes like this. I wish I could find wacky hooks in bulk. Like 1000 per pack.
Bring out the last hope and tie on a wacky. Feel you man.
The grind of bank fishing

Fishing is so much fun , good vid bro !!
Another great video! Really appreciate your videos!
Love the realistic videos. We all struggle, but few keep at. Keep the vids coming
That's perfect jig water in that first clip

Great job bud!!! Love the 6th sense clout!!
Those days😔 Right on Debo! Keep it up.
I love the 6thsense wacky worms they are my go to worm.
I thought this was gonna be a B-roll for the first few casts. Glad you stuck with it!
I love how you keep it real Debo. Keep up the great content!
Love me a good wacky rig video! Plus bank fishing
It was a day similar too that which made me switch to fishing out of a Kayak
Great video buddy 👍

Sucks to get snagged so much, but I'm sure you had bulk packs of hooks and worms in your pocket! 🤣👊
Wacky ,wacky, bass o snaggy! Lol! Good video brother! Dinkin with Debo! You are not alone on the dinkorama my friend! Fish on!
Ahhh, the elegant release. 🤣
Glade to see one get snagged as much as me
Wacky rig and fluke are my go-to finesse tactics for fall transition. If they aren't on the moving bait, those will catch em all day
More FLUKES ! please. !😎
Way to show the grind. Been a tough year for me too when I’ve been out but a day on the water beats the grind the rest of life can be. Feesh Strong.
Thanks for making videos it helps me get through some days.
Loved the message Debo

"Toasty outside, 76..."
I chuckled
It's been a wacky year for sure Debo. Little or no frog bite, lots of worm bites. Same here in Oregon. Drought conditions on land, and pond. lol ✌🏻🎣
That's one of those days when you catch fish, and everything else too, haha.

The ol waky rig
Cant wait for fall!
I can guess the next video... Do-it mold jig making haha! Sucks but it's part of the game 🤟
Yes Debo that my luck losing my rigs. Good video

Hope all is well Debo. I have that Lew’s Speed Spin. Great reel for the money I bought it in 10, 20 and 30 sizes I liked it so much

I really like that hat, going to need to get me one
Sup. Love whacky rig. Cought bunch of bass, too bad lost some and lost tackle. Tough day but any bass counts👍. Wood piles are tough. Never saw a whacky worm tool? Like the spinning combo. Ty tc
Always nice and peaceful where you fish. Jealous.
I haven’t seen that many snags since Saturday when I was out! Thanks Debo.

Cool Big Bites shirt
I finally hooked up on. My firstwacky rig bite Today then hooked up 5 more times after. Great day for me today the wacky rig gets fish .
I'm usually done after losing 2 lures. Catching 4 or 5 around a pound is my typical fishing trip. Hopefully things will get better for you soon.
Go Hawkeyes!
Yep. Snags are a big part of my fishing day. It's not fishing if you don't snag at least a couple of things. Lol
I've started rigging my wacky rig like Gene Jenson mentioned in a video this year, using a small piece of clear shrink tube, then putting the hook through the shrink tube.I get get tired of dealing with a tool, and rings.Enjoyed the video Debo, thank you!
I've been trying to get him to try it to see what he thinks. It's crazy how well it works.
This works so well. I've stated doing this as well. Saw it on flukes vid too. That worm won't tear off. You can pretty much bet on that.

Personally I use a weightless zoom trick worm for finesse, but maybe I should give the wacky rig a chance
Either one of ur 1st 2 would be my PB so I'll takeum ! 👍
This is almost identical to my last two outings minis the fish catching. Minus the bites even. Southeast PA sucks for fishing this time of year though
A few snags but a awesome video
Definitely have more days like that then good days lol especially one I tie on some new baits lol
My trips are exactly like this…except less fish catches 😩🤣 but I did catch a crappie the size of my #14 sneaker, pretty good for my little eastern pa lake 🤷🏻♂️
