I think Pepe has been helping many of us, armchair/hobbyist guitarists at home. His advice and guidance have been very useful in improving our attitudes towards music and guitar playing.

One of the top guitar virtuosi of the 20th century. He is a Very technical player. His father was also a guitar virtuoso. They are like a blue blood guitar dynasty and Pepe Romero is the best one of them all. I took lessons from a student of his and am still applying all the scientific approach aspects of playing the classical guitar.
His playing with such musical understanding, feeling and accuracy takes my breath away. My playing is ZERO against Pepe Romero. Thank you Pepe, I wish I was a student in your classes.

To me ,Pepe Romero is the best guitarist in the world because he can play both classical music and flamenco music very well ,no one else can do ,like Sabicas ,Paco Pena ,Juan Serrano,Paco De Lucia,..even the great Segovia can't do like this,for example Segovia can't play Farruca, Bulerias ,..in Flamenco compass or rythm (or maybe he doesn't want to play or he doesn't like to play !).In one show, Romero can play Chaconne , Fugue,..and after that Farruca ,Bulerias ,.. and sometimes play with dancers and singers ! some people exaggarate too much about the guitar ability of Paco De Lucia ,chiefly after he can play Concierto De Aranjuez with orchestra(John William, Pepe Romero,.. can play very well too ,even better than Lucia !) and this sounds classical music but in fact pure classical music for guitar is more than that like Guliani,Villa Lobos, ..Paco De Lucia creates his style by combining flamenco and jazz and sometimes he can play very fast picado but he can't stand ahead of Sabicas ,a real puro flamenco guitarist in guitar performance and in music composing .Carlos Montoya can play flamenco noisily and very well but if he plays Chaconne even smootly ,after listening his style, Segovia Again may get heart attack or vomit blood ! Again this is just one style,flamenco but we count two ,Flamenco and classical music ,Pepe Romero is the best

Ahora, haciendo filosofia sobre “ concierto de Arranjuez”? Pero, Rodrigo JAMÁS habló NADA de esto. Kkkkkkkkk….. kkkkkkkkkk
