Okay the first part you were talking about the Sleeping all day issue, that is caused by Metabolism, not Thai Culture. If the Girl was working at Night every night, she develops a certain sleep pattern around her Work schedule, then you come along and what to flip her whole world upside down over night. 😁 It is NEVER going to work like that, because of SCIENCE not Thai Culture. The Body cannot flip your Metabolism around like flicking a light Switch. So if you want her to be up and ready to go in the Morning you have to get her to bed Early in the Evening. Do this for a couple of days and the problem is Solved. But of course you have to be Smart enough to understand the problem in the first place. 😁
Next the Jealousy factor; I don't usually have that problem because I do a lot of "Shopping" before I PICK which girl I want, then I screen her for Mental Issues and Trust, and if she passes those Tests, then I steady Bar Fine her right away, and then, we are Off on Vacation. We are not going back to the Bars AT ALL, Why Would I? I already made my choice. If you are screwing around like you are just messing with the Girl's head, of course she is going to get upset, because you are acting like you are not sure what you are doing, so SHE is going to feel emotionally all fked up too. You SHOULD be acting like you know what you are doing, and IF you KNOW what you are doing, then you have no reason to be hanging out in the Bars. There was one exception I told the Girls I wanted to have big Party with all Girls, and I got a Place and about 10 girls and had a private party. But if I am Steady Bar fining a Girl, there is no reason to be hanging out in the Bars. We are GOING places, Going to Bangkok, or going to other Islands, or Movies or Shows or Discos, we have enjoying each other's company like we are Serious about it. If you are not doing that, then you are screwing with the girl's head, and you should be careful if you screw with a Thai girl's head cause she might Rob you and you would never know it.
Next the buying stuff situation; Like I said, when I first meet the Girl I screen em, test them for Trust, if they pass the Trust Test, I will give them $1000 worth of Bhat and say "You pay for everything" Why? Because she is going to get a cheaper Price for EVERYTHING. That is going to save me Money, AND she is going to want to go Shopping, that is a natural fact of Life, what Girl DOESN'T want to go Shopping? If you can't afford to buy her something, DON'T TAKE HER! You're just causing yourself problems if you do. If you give her some Money, let her be in Charge of paying for everything, she is going to feel like you Trust her, and she will ask "can I buy this" and I always say "Sure Tii Rak go ahead" If you aren't saying that, then that's YOU and YOU are the problem not Her. My Thai Girls Love me, My Thai Girls would die for me, I had them save me from Bad guys several times, but I never had to worry about any of my Girls. I always take care of them, and they always take care of me.
Lastly the Long Term Decision, that's the thing that broke me most times, it's not sending her Money, I can DO that, it's the Dowry! Usually it's an insane amount of money and I just say no.
But I think the next time (if i don't get a Russian Girl) I'm just gonna get her Pregnant then she can't refuse. Then I'm sure the price of the Dowry is going to drop drastically. 😁
Yeah I DO think your advice about taking it slow is probably a good idea. But I think it is also a good idea to plan everything backwards first. Imagine the Dowry, (and you didn't talk about that)
Imagine the Wedding (Which is also outrageous) and if you CAN'T imagine the Dowry and the Wedding, then you already know you are not doing the long term. But if you CAN imagine the Dowry and the Wedding, then plan and discuss how much you can send her. Know how much that is going to be, before you even pay the Steady Bar Fine. Then you will know what to expect.

Absolutely agree with you ! It happen to me in 2011 in Bangkok and I promise myself before making any more decision on long term relationship while in Asia I'm take a long cold shower by myself and if you still feel the same warm and fuzzy feelings get back the shower ! And call a cab or bolt .
Met a girl in thailand in a bar, payed her money. She had a car, which was awesome, as she drove me all over the place, we went to so many cool places and safe rather than a nasty scooter. We stayed together some nights, others i said i wanted some alone time (recent break up etc), it worked out beautiful, she accepted that. When i left, she drove me to the airport and she thanked me for how i had been; honest and also fun to be with. We left with no strings attached and still texting about our life. She is married with a French guy, ive been through one and she still supported and helped me through that time and still we talk. I guess I was lucky. Payed for 2 weeks and no hard feelings since i was honest.

Pool on the roof, eating out, going to the mall, shopping for ear rings, going to the Temple, incense, drinking beers while listening to live music; hitting the bars. Had a great time with my beerbar girl, paid bar fine 4 nights, got together with one of her friends, double dating. She spent 4 nights with me, amazing time. Found her at an inexpensive beer bar, NOT Walking St., much better prices. She fell in love with me; I had a planned time to leave, she helped me pack to go back to the airport. I needed a quick intro, the mama-san came thru; my new friend showed me around the city, we heard all the live music, she knew where to go, what time, what nights. Amazing people that will open their hearts to you; don't abuse it.

I took a 21yr old - a true 10 out of 10 in Bangkok. We checked into the state tower and got a beautiful suite. We had drinks food and some fun. When I didn't tip her her normal 1500 Bot for the fun we had she claimed to have to go help her brother who had an accident on his motorcycle. I thought the 30,000 bot I paid was a lot and should have been good for all night. Don't under estimate how much these woman make. Over the next 2 days she came up with every excuse to not come back. I felt she was seeing every guy she could to put in her bank account without paying the normal bar fees- that I took carebof for the entire noght. When I told her I would pay the 1500 each time she miraculously showed up again. Bottom line. These girls are paid for their fun and don't think they will fall in love with you. They will do whatever they can to get the most money out of you then move on. Always remember these woman are prodessional call girls. You are one in 15 D"s they satisfy daily if they are young and hot. Do you really think they want an older balding possibly overweight American for anything more than his money and possible escape of their hard life? Hope this helps. Great channel!

Been there lately. I saw a freelancer 3 days in a row and truth to be said I got emotionally attached to her but did not tell her. Not soft and submissive, but a real tough and smart person that is industrious and looks after me well, just as I look after her. Imagine old fashion man does his bit girl does her bit; not like the 'uptight' West at all. Family here in Thailand comes first so if you do want the girl you need to respect the mum.
My tip is wait three years before marrying anyone wherever you are. Please also keep in mind when you meet a bar girl, that they are human, they have dreams for a nice future. Did you marry a customs officer?
Last time i was in Thailand ended up staying at a bar girls place for the whole 2 months on darkside. She didn't cause one problem. Most days i was up earlier than her and wanted to go out. Id wake her up never a problem. My honest opinion of the 20+ yrs going to Thailand is, its not so much the Thais who are the problem. My personal experience is most of the expats especially on the darkside are racist, alcoholics and extremely jealous with any visitor coming in their bars and taking (in their own mind) their girls and they will have no problem telling you. Believe when i say i know most of the owners of the bars/restaurants around darkside.
My advise with spending any lengthy time with a Thai lady is don't assume you understand them or their culture but always show a willing to learn and respect their way of life. No different than what we would expect from our tourists/immigrants coming/moving to our country. Treat them like a human and not a bit of meat which I'm sad to say is far to common out there.
At the end of the day their only doing that job to support their families at home who can't afford healthcare and education etc. Usually married at a young age and given a child when thai man leaves them and refuses to support them. It leaves the girls two choices work in a factory for about a rough estimate of 6k baht a month, whilst being looked down at their family for not keeping the marriage afloat. Or pass their children onto their parents who then are forced to stop working so the girl can go work in a bar for about 6/8k baht salary that's without drinks/short-long time tips depending which area she works.
Its a ruthless country with no benefit system to help them in anyway if they don't make money they don't eat its that simple.

A long time ago I made the mistake of knowing a bar girl for around 2 weeks. She convinced me to visit her family in Issan. I was dumb and didnt know any better so I said yes. We took an 8 hour taxi ride and the first place we arrived at was a restaurant. I had no idea what was going on.
I sat down at a table with around 40 Thai people sitting and eating. It turned out that her dads niece was getting married and the entire extended family was there. I did not order anything and was only there a few minutes when they handed me the bill to pay for everything.
I looked at her like WTF is this? She gave me this look like, please don't embarrass me. So I went ahead and paid for it. It was only like 1,600 baht or something anyway.
Later we leave and we go to the hotel where her family was staying.
I was standing next to the truck and further away near the entrance of the hotel the girl and her parents were talking.
Several minutes later the girl, her brother and sister and myself were sitting in the back of the truck. I looked over and the girl was crying her eyes out and sobbing uncontrollably. I asked her what was wrong and eventually she told me that her parents were yelling at her because I had not bought them a house yet. (After only knowing her for 2 weeks)
I told her I was never coming there again.
We then arrived back in Pattaya and I left her in the hotel room while I went out to use the ATM and then go buy some T-shirts. I was gone for around an hour and when I came back to the room she had cut both of her wrists open and said that she thought I was with a girl and then went on to tell me that If I ever had a baby with her and she caught me with another woman that she would kill the baby.
I told her to get all of her belongings and get out of my hotel room.
I blocked her and never talked to her again.
There are levels of crazy.

This is wonderful advise that you've given. I learned the hard way. 4 trips to Thailand, up to 5 weeks at a time with the same girl. Even met her family in Ubon ...As far as money, stick to a budget w/ cushion room. The more trips, the more that you learn how to get more for your money. As far as your mind, be prepared to lose it. As far as your heart, guard it like it's a gold mine or you could find it shattered. It's been 19 yrs. since I've been back. Last time was in Phuket twice the year of the tsunami. If I'd been there one month later, I wouldn't have been able to write this. I wanted to go back to help out but they wouldn't allow tourists during the clean up. I was devastated thinking about the many people that I'd met that to this day don't know if they survived or not. My advise is to go, have fun, lose your mind. But guard your money and your heart.

Met an old geezer in a bar in Spain once and we shared a few beers ,he was waiting to pickup his half Indonesian son from school . When I returned the following year I inquired about him and was told that he had hung himself using a bed sheet tied to a balcony he threw himself off in broad daylight . His wife found a decent job and didn’t need him anymore so she left him and got her son to disown his Dad. Moral of the story …..

Never take a girl out of a bar that you frequent and like to chill and have a drink in.
Never take the same girl or any girl for long time. Do the business and say bye bye.
Don’t spend all your holiday in the same place. I arrive Bangkok for first three nights, head off to Patong for a week, then another week in Pattaya and final three nights in Bangkok. Ok it’s a little more expensive but that is why we are called the 2-3 week millionaires. The girls remember you even next year. No hassles, or expectations when you explain you’re a butterfly. Don’t haggle about price just finish beer and walk onto next bar. You will enjoy your HOLIDAY a lot more and every time if you stick to the simple rules. Cheers🍺🇹🇭😂.

So I want to understand you,ve been going to Thailand for more then 19 years. And you never ever stayed with a lady long time, as in more then 12 hours or 1 day. I ,ve been going and lived on different occasions for more then 28 years. What your saying is a little hard to believe. But if it,s true then I suggest trying some for more then 3 or 4 days. Hi Pietro. Seriously the most time I’ve spent with a girl is an overnight once or twice when I first started going. Trying to get rid the next day was more hassle than it’s worth. Remember I’m there on holiday. Really not interested in long term or long distance relationships. I’ve seen a few of my mates fall foul and they are pretty much now the same opinion. Each to their own and if it’s good for you then more power to you. I’ll be downing a beer or three at the Lovely Corner watching the sun go down over the bay in January, fingers crossed. @@gregormitchell1378 OH yeah mate as you said each to there own, if you enjoy going around seeing different places that's great. But that's alright if you're there for 6 weeks maybe 2 or 3 months. Otherwise you sit around in Airports to much. My holidays are meant for relaxing and taking it easy. I don't want to land somewhere and know that I got to go again in 3 or 4 days 1 week later. I want to have time to party a little enjoy the place. That's why when I go I rarely stay under 4 weeks. Just more time to relax. Cheers 🍻

Long stays are bad! I came for two weeks and 1 month later I got an overseas job and moved to Pattaya. 16 yrs later we are married, have a house in Pattaya, and a farm in P-lok and 2 kids. She handles everything in the household and I just work (internationally) and play computer games. Soon I will retire and spend the rest of my life on the beach with a responsible woman and no headaches. I can think of worse outcomes, but I think I was just lucky.

I have been married for 26 years. In the early 90's i spent almost 2 years in the Philippines in an area that provided similar entertainment to what I understand can be found in Thailand. I agree that mixing emotions with the business transaction is a mistake. There was a saying back then, "You can take the girl out of the bar but not the bar out of the girl.". This was true the vast majority of the time (maybe 99%). The chances that you have found the "One" are very small. I ended up marrying a Filipina, but she was not a bar worker and I met her after I moved back to the USA. By all means, have a great time but do not expect to find the love of your life in a bar.

In general, in all geographical locations, if you are looking for marriage, it pays to not fish in polluted waters. A church, where you can meet an eligible girl with her family present, ups the odds considerably. I can't speak for Thailand, but in the Philippines, they are mostly Catholic, but there are Protestant churches in the larger cities, and a few in some of the smaller ones.
Their are exceptions. I been married 33 year's to a woman I met in a night club.

Another good video, with all of the advice spot-on; after twenty years of visits I still generally follow the philosophy that I don't pay the girl to go with me, I pay her to leave once I am finished with her. One observation that I'd like to make is that the first few years I went to Pattaya, any girl I picked up in a beer bar would generally stay long time - overnight - and yes, most would like a good sleep-in in the morning and I'd give them until noon after which I would gently wake them and send them on their way. After smart phones became widespread, it eventually became a lot more common for the encounters to be all short time instead which I came to like better as it made the encounter even more of a business affair and it was never difficult seeing them leave, and I sleep much better myself when I am alone. Although I did have my regulars over the years - and still will if/when I ever get back there again - I never did get hung up on any one girl although I did meet a few who probably would have made good partners but it just wasn't my thing. I've also gotta say that I get a real kick out of all of the armchair travel experts who comment on videos like this - "creepy old men", "human trafficking", "they all have STD's", "pedophiles", etc...all people who have obviously never been to Pattaya, or probably even Thailand - and unless you have been there you just don't have a clue how it all works. My first visit to Thailand was an epiphany and I am very much looking forward to returning.

It's always a business with EVERY woman. Something of value MUST be exchange or she won't be with you. Love is bullcrap. I've seen in many times in my line of work. A man gets into a serious accident, is handicapped, and no longer provides the goodies the woman / wife liked, and she stays around a while to be polite, but the first man that can give her better value, she's gone. Happens everytime. So this isn't just a Pattaya thing.

Went the other route. I spent two years courting a Chinese lady in Beijing. Worked as an export manager for a French pharmacutical company. Married her...10 years now. Best decision of my life. But I want to say that this video is as close to the truth as you will ever see. It all comes down to common sense and playing your cards correctly. Who on earth goes looking for a wife in a bar and then rents her from the madam (bar fine). Have you lost your friggin mind to think this is anything more than a business?

I've been coming to Thailand since 1991 and have had 4 women over all those years that I spent more than a day with. The first lady I was with for 4 days. I wanted to explore more of Thailand and took her with me to Pattaya. She told me she hated it in Pattaya and I sent her on her way. The next lady I met in Pattaya the next day at a beer bar. Seen her sitting at a desk doing paperwork and told one of the ladies there I wanted to talk to her. I spent the next 6 days with her. I ended up going back 3 months later and married her, were together for 15 years. It got really ugly when we divorced. She told everyone lies about me. If I find another love it will have to be someone who does not work in a bar.

I knew a woman who's brother retired and bought a flat with a Thai girl. He was killed in an accident and by the time she got there to clear up his affairs he had been cremated, his Bank accounts closed and the flat sold along with all his property worth selling.
It is a common thing here that when you pass away that you are cremated within a few days

Idk about others but I went to bkk after a bad breakup found an amazing freelancer, paid her 15k baht for 6 days (24 hours) along with food and drinks ofc. Partied a lot, got full GFE, had some intimate chats. Sure I didn't get over my ex back home but I did enjoy the time I was with my temp Thai friend.

I've been going thailand almost 25 yrs, u must be very careful, if your the type that also gets attached fast, stick with only short times, much safer, many bar girls I know all have many sponsors sending them monthly allowances, they all think girl is in village, but truth is when u get on the plane, she's back in the bar. And reason she don't answer the phone is its too noisy.

About 7 year ago I long timed a girl in samui for a week. We really got on with each other great and she was such a character as well. One of those girls you can't forget. In any event, holiday finished and went back home.
We semi kept in touch over messenger
The next holiday I decided not to meet her even though I seen her on the beach but she didn't see me.
We still semi kept in touch via messenger
The next holiday I seen her again at a parade in Pattaya. This time I decided to go over to her and we spent 6 weeks traveling Thailand together. We even met her father. We had such a great time together. Holiday finished and went back home. She also went back to her village to keep away from "the scene"
We heavily kept in touch, video calls everyday ect. Making plans for her to come to UK, talking about marriage all the usual loved up stuff. I also helped her financially. Say about £250 a month.
But I never followed up with my plans of getting her over here with me in UK also the helping her financially started to become a burden and was wearing thin.
Then covid hit and everything went to shit. Maybe I was looking for an excuse not to commit. We grew more and more distant and eventually it ended. Now she's married to a Thai man.
Do I feel used? Meh, at one point I did when it was all raw. Now I don't feel bad about it. It's a shame it didn't work out for us. But that's life.
I'm going back over to Thailand for 90 days later on in the year. Now that's she married I 100% won't be getting in touch or meeting her.
I've decided that Thailand is Thailand and I won't become so involved with someone over there again. The odds are just stacked against you too much
