The Grand Sud is nice. I heard Taiwan spent $10million building some new roads in Port Salut a while back. I think a big reason the Grans Sud is cleaner and safer is because there are fewer people. The three capital cities (les cayes, Jeremie, and Miragoane) are all substantially smaller than PAP. God willing, the Grand Sud will continue to develop and improve.
Mostly corruption tbh. After the dictatorship and factories a lot of foreign companies just ruined the streets. Also after the earthquake the UN dumped all their garbage while doing nothing but bringing cholera and stealing almost 20B. It's been hard to recover since. Most of us who live in the north or south aren't in the same danger but we're also under developed. It's good but simple. We're hoping to eventually develop more.

You’re full of crap when you got the pizzeria the cashier take your money turned around grab the pizza put it in the oven. Or you watch the guy go empty the garbage go back and serve food. I was at Costco the lady had gloves on blew her nose and proceeded to serve ok. In America 🇺🇸 by the way
