Wow wow wow, thank you so much for sharing. My father is from Jeremie but hasn't been there in 30 years. We are watching it together with his grandchildren who are all amazed. My father is so astonished of all the developments. This video prompted us to plan a family trip there this year. My father thanks you for the way you captured his home town. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your video, the Haitian people are full of love! Poverty is everywhere, just the money hungry few, in Haiti don't care about the people. Another form of slavery, that needs to be abolished! Then Haiti will rise!!

    Moral of the story:
    1. Haiti’s BEAUTIFULL, despite what they say.

You are right but the problem is that you first need to fly into PAP. You can also fly into Aux Cap if you plan is visit the north coast. But if you want to visit Jeremie, Aux Cayes, Jacmel, and you don't want to drive cross country, you first need to fly into PAP and then take a Sunrise Air flight to one of the "nice" cities/Departments.

I am not Haitian whatsoever. My daughters das has Haitian ancestry, her last name is very French so i decided to indulge myself in the culture to teach her. Thank you for showing this side of Haiti. When I tell people it’s a dream destination, they look at me crazy but I see past the chaos we are shown on tv and I understand the entire country isn’t dangerous. God bless Haitian people. ❤

Haiti has enough Gospel, bring a constructive skill as well....people are praying 10 hours a day ...these are a lot of unproductive hours. Mission does not only have to be preaching, hope you get the discernment to be more creative with the Gospel you will teach.

Haiti has by far the best coastal beaches and scenery of all the Caribbean islands. They have been one of our natural attractions for decades.
I enjoyed visiting all these places (from north to south), when I was [young] and leaving there. Unfortunately the hard reality is it is putting your life and your loved ones at a huge risk to get to these places nowadays, the moment you get off your plane in P-auP, having to worry of being kidnapped, being shot at or even get killed is not what should be upfront in a visitor's mind!
These promotional videos are really nice and inviting and I applaud you for showing such positive and progressive sides of our brothers and sisters in country. That is good and hopeful. However until the bigger problems that plague the political stability are resolved it is very hard to imagine huge influx of expatriates swarming those beautiful beaches, enjoying such pristine landscapes in drove.
    Keep up the good work.

I just returned from a trip to Jeremie. I'm a white guy from USA with very little Kreyol ability. It does suck that you need to spend one day in PAP before flying to Jeremie due to the airport and airline schedules. I did not have any security issues but I was traveling with three Haitian friends. PAP is crazy but Jeremie was laid back...and the vibe becomes more laid back as you head down the main road to Marfranc....Moron....Chambellan... Just go but have a plan in place for specific lodging and transport.

Wow great job! My maternal grandmother was from a place called anba lariviere Bonbon. She use to tell me descriptive stories about her birth place. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to visit. Her description of the bridge was pretty impressive. As a child, I try to visualize the place. With this video, I get to see the city. She use to brag about the beauty of her homeland. It ‘s actually beautiful.

This is a tremendous effort ad great thing to do. CONGRATS. Jeremie is one of the most important towns in Haiti for several reasons. It's history, poets, beaches are second to none. I mean Dumas is one of the most famous writers. There was a. massacre that happened in 1964 that effected the soul of Haiti. It was called the Vepers of Jeremie. There is a mausoleum built in honor of the victims. You should get a video of that,,,I believe i'ts near the airport. My friend is producing a film, among other subject, that addresses that point in history.

30 years?! You’re going to a different Haiti. I’m so thankful and grateful to my Haitian parents despite their political and economic turmoil/troubles ensured I knew my roots. Heck I left USA at 10 months until age 7 to Haiti. They never told me (born in America) I was American and not knowing better I always thought I was in Haiïti WI (black and red flag) born . They always told me I was Haitian and had to go every summer. I love it when Older Ayitien compliment me on my fluency.

Great Job again, Mr. Jeanty 😀! You forgot to mention that General Thomas Alexandre Dumas was from Jeremie; he's the Father of Alexandre Dumas, the Author of The Three Musketeers, and he's also known as The Father of Modern Literature. That's where the name Dumas came from. I'm from Léogâne, by the way 😀❤. Is your Cash App still the same? You should remember to put your CashApp on the corner of the screen. I hope you will do a video about Degan, a place up the hills behind Carrefour. I love that you visit all these places and show their beauty and potential!

I really liked this video for so many reasons. First, I had never seen a video of Jeremie. It's a beautiful city, indeed and it looks like parase. So many things I didn't know about the city. We always here and the history of Au Cap but not other places like Jeremie. Happy Jeremie, happy Haiti lol... that was funny. Did you actually swallow that tom tom? It's one of my favorite dishes and I'm from PAP.

Love the video ! Amazing people, amazing country ! Could you please explain what is the safety situation like ? My only source is the internet, which only shows civil unrests, kindappings etc. I can compare my personal experience in Jamaica, which is also shown in the media as a very dangerous place - absolutely not true. Many thanks for your answer...

My husband dad was from there but my husband has never been . I am dying to go there one day. Hopefully I can convince him that not all Haiti is bad like port- au prince!!

I just got back from Jeremie. I'm a blanc with minimal creole skills and did not experience and safety issues. Too bad PAP won't grant "port-of-entry" rights to the Jeremie Airport. Then you could fly directly from USA to Jeremie and never need to stop off in PAP!
