In this Video, I attempt to explain how to feather the light. Forgive the mop on my head, I decided not to let that stop me from making the video. Hope you enjoy the video.
Feathering the light reduces the size of the light source relative to the subject thus making the light harder (more intense shadows) not softer. It also makes the light less specular as the middle of the modifier is no longer on your subject.
@@AnthonyGriffinPhotography I use feathering mostly for portraits, it doesn't make the light harder, it makes it softer. Pointing the soft box towards Te subject makes the light harder, feathering makes it soft, Tosin is absolutely correct
Wetin you dey talk 😂 what you don’t understand biko remain silent don’t come here and speak grammar that u don’t understand. Even a child knows the principle of lighting and u are saying absolutely out of point

Well thank you sir..... I just wanted to ask..... When is it necessary to take such kind of feathered away type of image
It depends on what effect you want to get
Good morning sir
Why do you prefer a V-flat to a human size reflector
1. The V-Flat can stand on its own
2. Because it has 2 parts, it can fill from both side and front.
