Hey, I’m currently in the CCC office. If we have sailors who wants to do this what is the proper route they must go when they go to medical and what if their PCM knows nothing about it?
Sadly, there is no way to request EMPLOY. BUMED identifies Sailors as it processes IDES referrals from LIMDU. This is very much the same way the Air Force conducts it's IRILO process. The only difference is that every Airman starts the IDES with the IRILO process; hence, no need to create a request proceedure. Hopefully the Navy will do the same or make EMPLOY like PLD - an application process.
I am due to be separated with a diagnosis of epilepsy. I have been seizure free since i was put on my current dosage of medication since 2022. I am to be separated in August. Do you think this program can help me?
