Nice video. I made one with the c200 a while back like this and landed on a similar kit for doc shooting. Thanks for sharing 🤙

The whole time I've been watching your videos on my TV, I had no idea you were in MA. I was today years old when I found out on my work laptop and I'm happy to see someone else from here doing awesome stuff. Thanks!

Nice, travel set up. Highly recommend picking up the DJI Mics. A lot easier to charge and travel with. They also have better gain settings.

I saw that you tossed the C70 "official" charger into the bag, along with the power "brick." You also have a Kastar battery in your kit. The same Kastar people make a 2 battery charger that is lightweight and compact, which can save you some room and weight and charge 2 batteries at a time. I've been using Kastar batteries and chargers on various gear for a long time. They haven't let me down (yet).

Those Aputure MC lights are actually incredible and super easy to pack up, even in a tight fitting kit. I think its worth to always have at least one in a pack. Can slap those bad boys p much anywhere.

Great video. You can take your cross strap idea one step further and use a neck strap. I've been using them for years. If my rig is under 15 lbs (ideally under 10 lbs) then it's awesome. You get to distribute the weight between your arms and upper back, it adds an additional point of contact that you can pivot with, and you have the added benefit of taking a break and freeing up your arms when you're not shooting. The OEM straps are always excellent and I just recently upgraded to a Peak Design light because I kept having to take them off, put them back on, resize... got to be too much of a hassle.

I recently bought the Manfrotto Reloader Tough-55 that holds the following:
    Canon C70 w/ 24-70 lens
    Fujifilm XT4
    XF 50 1.0
    XF 16-55 2.8
    Atomos Ninja V
Shape cage for C70 with the V mount attachment
    3 NPF batteries
Extra C70 Batteries including the one that has the DTap
    Extra cables and accessories.
I'm also able to carry my RS2 in its pouch just by using a bungee tie on the handle.
I travel a lot and do a lot of run and gun shooting and also living in NYC, I take public transportation a lot and this is the best move and go kit I finally was able to do WITHOUT having anything heavy on my back, I do carry a sling for my x100v and other stuff. But seriously consider it. It's also the same footprint as a large Peak Design bag

Suprised you are not kitted up with the Core SWX NANO-C98. You can use it to run the C70 and charge the Go II at the same time. Extra dtap if you need to power up you wireless transmitter. Two Nano-C98 will keep you powered for a full day, depending on accessories. And no need for 4 different batteries in your kit.

Great video. I travel a lot with my C70 setup and most of it fits in an Airport Takeoff rolling case from ThinkTank, but I have to take my FSB8 Sachler and some other accessories in a separate rolling bag. It was helpful to see what your travel kit consists of. I would be interested in hearing how successful you have been with legacy SD cards at recording normal framerates in 4k. I too have plenty of those and few 128gb V90s, so it would be nice to know if I could kind of rely on them at all.

Can the battery bank not charge it while using them? You could almost bongo tie the lav packs to a battery brick and have the talent either place that in their pocket or set it by their side? Unless they're talking and moving...that could be difficult.

Thanks for this. Got a quick question about your Sigma lenses : I tried the 50MM and the AF Speed option was functional in the C70. But it was not the case with the 35MM :( Is this the same with the 24 and the 85MM ? I'm talking about the AF speed function and not the AF response. Thanks for your help.

To be honest I've never touched any of the focus speed settings. I felt like it was pretty natural out of the box. That's something I should look into though, thanks for asking!

@@SoundItOutFilms I've been using one for a few months and it's been great. It's a little plasticky but it's super convenient to top off charging AND store the units all in one case. The DJI Mic system is a bit nicer but that's a whole other system obviously!
