It's odd to see a MSVD video without the crash info on the bottom
2:56 If you didn't know, the driver that crashed was Sebastian Vettel, and in that crash he broke his index finger. Since that moment, it became his winning celebration.
R.I.P. Anthoine and Dilano 🙏
Dilano?
Dilano van 't Hoff. Died at Raidillon in 2023.
And don't forget Stefan Belloff.
@@ziggyziggyziggy oh it's him ! Thanks ! R.I.P 🙏
Idea for a compilation - Crashes into bridges, or at least the walls at the base of bridges
I can only think of Mansell’s BTCC crash and Chris van der Drift’s Formula Renault crash, but that would be a hardcore compilation I’d reckon 😂😂
@@karelpgbr Bruno Senna had a big one into a bridge didn’t he?
Obligatory rest in peace to Antoine Hubert 🙏
Don't forget Van Der Hofft too
FIA: wanted gravel traps to be replaced with run-offs
FIA when the run-offs causes cars to bounce back on the track: :o
A lot of the bouncing back is at the end of the endurance pit exit though so a gravel trap wouldn't be possible...
10:49 where is that vantage point from? That looks like an AMAZING spot to watch a race from
3:28 doink

Really top job mixing the amateur footage with the official broadcast.
Martin Haven has a lot to answer for.
Great work!
I remember the Webber crash. His team manager wasn't happy as that was his third successive mistake in a race and that cost him the title to his future F1 teammate Justin Wilson
I remember Ricardo Zonta having a huge crash there
9:24 that looks like video game graphics in an accident
Best commentator ever
I didn't know that Wharton had a suspension failure until now
I thought he made an error
9:25 Woah! Guessing oil down or something?
1:12 NO WAY did u get that clip from my video here on youtube?
Still cannot believe in this day and age it's not tech pro barriers there instead of tyres
0:25 very similar to Alex Yoong's crash there in F3000
Honestly I totally forgot that Magnussen drove for Renault after all these years. He only had 1 season with them though.
I only remember simply because of how many hours I put into f1 2016. It'd the only game that I logged in over 5000 laps on.
That Surtees crash was just 3 weeks before his fatal crash...Motorsport can be cruel...
Qué pasó con Mullen y el fuego? Quedó inconsciente? No se bajó d inmediato ni su casco se movía
Its been five years since Hubert was dead. RIP Hubert.😢
What about a compilation of near misses?
pls answer if possible, in 1:12 did u used the clip from my video here on youtube? im curious.
yes i did :)
@@msvd3803 ohh thank you so much for using !!
Oh, so FRECA have a number 13 car. That's unusual in motorsport 😂
May Antoine Hubert Rest In Peace...
1996-2019 🕊
9:24 I still don't know how this happened, they all spin in exactly the same spot and no one behind slows down... Rough one
I think it was weather conditions and nobody was aware of it/able to react that quickly. That's really the only kind of scenario where that kind of an incident happens with professional drivers.
Edit: I didn't find any mentions of weather conditions, which may suggest that was not the problem. Strange since weather/track condition is just about the only thing I know that can cause that many cars to go off at the exact same spot simultaneously.
Usually caused by the rear wing stalling, ... ?
10:49 All that runoff they have these days and it's still not enough for the 12-year-olds in F4.
7:14 😈
Eau Rouge, home of Drapeau Rouge
cars would not be bouncing back across the track (multiple fatal crashes) if they just kept the gravel traps
Yeah well, gravel traps may cause cars to roll. I don't think there is one perfect solution to this set of corners.
@@ziggyziggyziggy yeah, of course it does, but the roll hoop has been around for decades and now with the advent of the halo it's even safer for cars to roll as opposed to flying back across the track at a blind, high-speed section of track (others included).
@@ziggyziggyziggy that’s a good thing, I mean not as good in open-wheelers as it is for regular cars or regular race cars but it’s much better than going back out into the middle of the track where there’s cars going full speed blinded not knowing what’s going on
Donde está el choque de Hubert?
Sin accidentes fatales en esta compilación (MSTV suele marcar el título los vídeos con fatalidades ).
Im glad they removed the gravel as that did cause cars to flip at a corner with such high speed
The gravel was better tbh, ofc they flipped but now it's less lethal due to the halo. Currently without gravel everyone who crashes bounces back righ in the racing line and can be hit by other cars at full speed... Like Hubert crash...
@YacineBoussoufa thats a good point actually
HANS device probably saved half these drivers lives.
surprised you missed the 2021 Spa 24h.
“Open wheel”
I dont think 24h spa is open wheel
