Cheese, garlic and chili. You hit my trifecta. And even well-aged cheddar. The only necessary cheese. As far as I'm concerned, if there is aged cheddar, there is no need for any other cheese.
Both looked great! I think people would tend to pick the lamb, exactly because it isn't quick and easy to do at home and they have a chance to eat it now that someone else is making it for them.
Excellent episode. Killer Lamb saddle recipe. The polenta looks outstanding, though would improve with better plate coverage. I do triangles, four, sauce thirty percent top of plate, shingle polenta two o'clock to eight o'clock. Salad to right. Love you guys. Please, keep sharing these delicious video's. Blessings ChefMike I vote Lamb.
What a little killer, would have been polenta for me... Thanks for sharing a great idea to use it... now if only the polenta would have been the chips served with the lamb, hehe, 2nd servings would be a whole different ball game
I can't be a fair judge because I dislike lamb - but as to which won maybe the time of day you served it "helped" the lamb win and the other was seen as an appetizer (and price?? was a factor??)
I'm all for vegetarian dishes but it seems like everywhere is trying to go veggy.. i feel like the whole jamie oliver team is going to try to slowly push it into their recipes. I don't know how I feel about that yet. may open some new doors to cooking or create some problems.
Still watch this every week.

He went all out on this one. It's incredible!
I saw this episode once before. It was a good episode.
They both look and sound delicious- I would happily take either one!
That lamb looks magnificent!
Try the menu in California and you'll have a challenge on your hands for the lamb. It's a cultural paradigm.

you had me at polenta! :)
I would have chosen the polenta! It looked delicious.
Both dishes looked great, but I would have preferred the polenta with sauteed mushrooms and onions. It would have seemed heartier.
POLENTA FRITA!

Meat just tastes better. This has been and will be true for all eternity. Inefficient it may be, but tasty it is.

meat tastes better because of the fat content in it..if you want some good vegetarian food, I think you have to know your seasoning.
