I have seen a lot of your videos but no other video has inspired me so much then this one. Nates story really started a fire in me and I'm just so happy to have listened to this one. Happy Thanksgiving to you guys and thank you for making my day
Nate is such a compelling speaking his story is amazing and the learn about the other side of an NFL hopefull who wasn't recruited and just walked on and made it work is such a great story
yall vote for his former teammate Danny Amendola tonight during the dancing with the stars finale!! he’s been on a roll but the other celebrities have a bigger fan base so let’s support his teammate!
Fooh man .. people seriously need to stop watching and supporting that kind of mindless bs tv! No offense to Dola at all it’s just something that the masses need to stop doing man? They think we’re stupid so please stop proving them right by Participating and watching that garbage please!
NZ Pats fan here. Great hearing you guys talk rugby. These days we also got Jomboy doing commentary on cricket !!! It's a good time to be a sports fan !!!!
Great episode.... Running n pissing story is so cool, Julian giving Nate the run for the money... Love the questions and insight... great guest Nate and his success story. keep us entertained Julian and crew.
Joc Pederson has to be on that Mt Rushmore. Played for Israel in the WBC, played HS football with Davante and was the WR1, World Series Champion. Plus, he's a good dude.
1:17:00 - Edelman would have been very similar to Cory Jane, the All Blacks winger. He'd have been good on an inside ball off a 10 like Mike Hercus, but running at pace and breaking through the line.
I'd love to see the more aerobically fit and versatile NFL players go for rugby sevens, especially guys like McCaffrey who are struggling with the body conditioning required for NFL.
I went to HS with Ebner. The guys dad got murdered at his junkyard. Instead of letting that derail him, he worked harder. He hit puberty late, used to smash him in basketball. Yet, when we ran suicides, he’d K1LL himself to try to get first, even when he was middle of the pack. Once he became a man he was a beast. He maximized his potential, good on him. Even if we never got along, he has my respect.
To answer Edelman’s question obviously he’s a better rugby player. Just by the fact if they had an Olympic football team and took the top 50 football players, he does not make that squad. That is obviously not a knock.
There's a famous doc about the match of undefeated Harvard and Yale in 1968. ( Harvard beats Yale 29-29) In it you find Meryl Streep was the girlfriend of a Harvard player who was Tommy Lee Jones roomate.
Malcolm mitchell wes welker randy moss ammendola duron harman hightower van noy Blount revis Cordarelle Patterson Jamie collins gilmore would all be amazing
Travis Kelce's father played rugby after failing to make it into college football. Travis' father was athletic but not an exceptional athlete. The Kelce Bros' mother was the exceptional athlete in the family and played competitive level college sports.
Great conversation. It's a pity Mr. Ebner never got to play in the UK/France club circuit or the southern hemisphere super rugby competition, I think he would have excelled.
That was the first time I was embarrassed for you guys for the disrespect you have for „non American“ sports. I am a Patriots fan because of Jules and the great dynasty he was part of with Gronk, Brady, Hightower, Slater and many more and I’m here most of the time to listen to your Patriots or football stories you share with stars or former stars of the game we all love. But because you talk also about games of other sports sometimes I expect a little more knowledge or interest in other sports that go away from American mainstream sports. Imagine getting Messi on your pod and talking about the „el classico“ 2005 (Real Madrid vs Barcelona). Going from todays episode I guess you would have no clue what to talk about neither would you be aware of the star power these games featured on the pitch. I mean you guys were talking about an American national rugby team at the olympics and gave star power under 7p??? Because you don’t know who was playing!? In your world NFL players are superstars. Go to Europe and ask people about who Lamar Jackson is or Payton Manning over 70% don’t know who you’re talking about! So it’s always a question of perspective. And because you’re kind of a journalistic pod you have to bring more consideration for other sports into your ratings. That’s just my point of view because I felt the pain of old Eb when he was listening to you guys… you can not compare every sport with American football also every sport comes with a different skill set. Just because Amandola and Jules were playing ping pong in their basement when bored doesn’t make them a Ma Long! I expect a little more respect to the perfection and dedication other sportsmen have for their profession also if it’s not American football! Anyways just wanted to get that of my chest otherwise I love the pod and enjoy listening to insides and background stories of my favorite time watching NFL!!! Keep it up boys!!!
It's just ignorance. He knows nothing about rugby, just like most of us in the rugby world know f**k all about NFL. Clowns wouldn't last 5 mins on a rugby field, and he knows it.
3 feet away? It's right in front of their face. Maybe, get some hearing aids or go see an ear doctor. You might have wax built up in there, especially if you're having trouble hearing this. ❤😊
What other Olympic sports should we cover?⬇
The USA Curling Gold… you know they drink too
Women’s Cycling/Womens Rugby last Olympics
Harrison, women's judo. 2-time gold. Only American gold. The Japanese called her The Lioness.
Unrelated: but can you guys maybe get Dont’a on when the seasons over? Pretty pleaseeeeeee 💕
Figure skating.
Nothing I enjoy more than former Patriots on this show. Go Pats, baby!
So true bro! I came straight here from a clip about Nate blocking for punts returns. Already know this is gonna be a straight up banger!
Former Patriot and USA Eagle
💯
One of the best ones
Thank you guys for Shining a light on rugby such a historic and not well known sport in the US 🫡 🏈🤝🏉
This the best guest in a solid month by far
I have seen a lot of your videos but no other video has inspired me so much then this one. Nates story really started a fire in me and I'm just so happy to have listened to this one. Happy Thanksgiving to you guys and thank you for making my day
This is definitely the most interesting guest you’ve had on the pod so far !!!

Nate could easily be head coach of Ohio State/ The Pats
Ebner is a good bit older than me but went to my rival high school here in ohio. dudes a beast glad to see him on the pod
I didnt know Ebner went to Hilliard. I went to Davidson back in the late 90s.
1:42:02 Julian not knowing the Star Spangled Banner is from the War of 1812 and not the Revolution is on his pretty on point haha
1:17:00 - Edelman would have been very similar to Cory Jane, the All Blacks winger. He'd have been good on an inside ball off a 10 like Mike Hercus, but running at pace and breaking through the line.
Cory Jane had a fend of beauty. Underrated in the All Black wing conversation.
BBs definitely going to watch this
“I love you, Dad” It was the court scene from Big Daddy!
Does Jules have a Reebok sponsorship? Always with the classics on
No lie, Nate was my favorite Patriots player. Him knocking around backers as a FB was legendary
Please tell me you didn't just get Ebs mixed up with James Develin lol

RESPECT!
the lunge workout w/ 75# dummys is diabolical. Crazy shit and way to gas up the coaches by getting it done and moving onto helping the others.
Nate has a great story.
His story could be a movie
Danny gonna win DWTS!!!

Jules, PLEASE give Ross Ventrone a call. Would love to hear some great Rusty Benson stories. Make it happen
Where was John Simon on January 6th, 2021?
Wow, never knew about his father's story.
To answer Edelman’s question obviously he’s a better rugby player. Just by the fact if they had an Olympic football team and took the top 50 football players, he does not make that squad. That is obviously not a knock.
im a rugby fan and jules would have definitely excel in Rugby, hes a dawg, competitor. just rentless
Hey Julian, it might please you to know that the United States won gold in Olympic 15's rugby the last 2 times it was played (1920 and 1924).
Jewels was right… Neal was the world champion in 1999.
Jack with the disrespect scores!!
Me: this is a good episode
Back of my brain: remember he tore his ACL on a fake punt
You should get John welbourn on to talk about the hottest game in nfl history
Stake: 9.0
Star Power: 3.3
Gameplay: 9.0
Name: 7.2
Nothing i love more as an ohio boy, than a former ohio state buckeye, talking buckeye football. Let's go NATE!

Get another Olympian on
Bro said lakulaku🤣🤣🇹🇴🇹🇴 44:15
45:59 Bill definitely knew. It’s fucking Bill Belichick. He knew, he just wanted to hear it from Nate so he could put it in the contract. Be real.

Gotta get David Andrews on here or Hoyer
Travis Kelce's father played rugby after failing to make it into college football. Travis' father was athletic but not an exceptional athlete. The Kelce Bros' mother was the exceptional athlete in the family and played competitive level college sports.
Julian I have a fire photo I took of you and Danny I would love to share with you!
Please get Thierry Henry on here or a soccer guy. Would love to see the athlete and sport debate just like with this episode
calling pause on a rugby player talking about jiu jitsu training is crazy lol
Cool cat, flag football next Olympics think about it, its on
Great conversation. It's a pity Mr. Ebner never got to play in the UK/France club circuit or the southern hemisphere super rugby competition, I think he would have excelled.
Can we get Ilona Maher on the pod, Dola can hook you up.
What's a junkyard junking in 1830???
Stagecoaches
As a North Jersey Jet Fan, I hate this show. It makes me like all these ex patriots that I was very content with hating.

Really interesting what he was saying about college club rugby. It’s such a joke

Too bad NFL is trying to take away special teams. Really affects dudes like this.
