Sí ellas comentaron en una entrevista recientemente que pelearon mucho con su productor David Bendeth que querían que el bajo tuviera un sonido preponderante en este disco y creo que lograron el objetivo al menos en estas 6 canciones del Ep May Day se escucha fenomenal, a veces escuchamos un bajo profundo y sucio (me refiero al sonido) y en otras es poderoso y muy distorsionado; el trabajo de las chicas y obviamente de Ale es magistral.
In my opinion the Refrain of Disciple lacks a bit of Power. They just build the whole song really great up to this point and then the singing is so much higher and the whole key sounds different. The first half of the refrain fits not so bad to the rest of the song but the "second half" of the refrain where Pau sings is a bit off to me. Different key and sound. Sounds like it belongs to another song if you know what i mean? But Z is pretty amazing ang Disciple too but it could be better in my opinion!

I agree with you but I think that second part (Pau's) fits well, a little bit Beatlish if you know what I mean but I agree it had potential for more, a different bridge, a solo, something different. Don't get me wrong I love the entire EP but in songs like Choke and Disciple I think they could have done better with something extra during the middle of the song but yet they are great. QOTMS still my favorire, flawless album from beggining to end.

This is my favorite from the MAYDAY EP. I think the vocals at 2:41 (and the associated energy) should go on a little longer, with a fade out at the end. It ends too soon for me because I'm old.
I really love this song. I think among the 3 new songs, both Z and animosity are right up there. Then disciple. Dany’s solo is amazing. She is definitely the riff master and when she does solos (although rare) they are absolutely gorgeous and phenomenal 🤟

They're literally giving it to their own generation, I remember when they used to say they weren't gonna do tiktok, of course they flipped on that but in a smart way, using all the platforms to their advantage.
It does start with a clasic 60's base, then the guitar riff resembles something 70's and by the time the voice starts the sing turns into a 80's post punk rock. Estate poderoso como: Mazzinger Z. 😁

Es muy bueno como el bajo va marcando los golpes de la batería en los estribillos. Bueno y los climas, los cambios de tiempo a los que ya nos tienen acostumbrados. Es una gran banda de HardRock al estilo de la vieja escuela como se dice. 🙌 No se queda quieto en todo el tema el bajo TERRIIIBLEEEEEE.

Sin duda el ataque de la bajista junto con la ecualización que hacen en este álbum es fenomenal, y algunos gritos de la baterista por ahí atrás ufff.
