Well, this girls are the same girls on that viral video from eight years ago where three little girls was playing enter sandman; at that moment Lars praise them, but about this reinterpretation, Metallica has not said anything specific, but this is part of the official album of tributes to Metallica, produced by Metallica, so, they invited them, and from the whole album this song is the one that has been used the most in the media (after the Miley Cyrus's "nothing else matters" of course), so I guess they think something good about it.

Critical at first but turned me over at the end. Never seen a cover use the original riff as the breakdown. Honors the old while being unique and creative! I am surprised how much I enjoyed this song!
When they write a song, usually one of them comes up with an idea: A chord progression, a melody, some lyrics and they all work it out from there. I am amazed, how well they were able to transform this modus operandi to this song. They kept the melody, lyrics and chord progression, but changed everything else: New riffs and leads, new bassline, new drum patterns, completely new arrangement. Actually a totally different song and probably the most interesting one on the Metallica Blacklist album. And they did it all (writing, recording, arranging (Alessia Cara was in Canada and they were in Mexico due to Covid restrictions), mixing, mastering) in less than a week. Also this song was used by Marvel, Fox Sports and Netflix. 2.6 mio. views on UA-cam, 5.1 mio. streams on Spotify... Great success and well deserved. 🙂
Where’s the lead riffs? Oh that’s right they/she couldn’t handle them so the intro riff is all they could put in it? Really, it’s not a cover it’s a non metal remake of a metal song, nothing less nothing more without a guitar lead, show me a song where a metal song doesn’t hav3 a lead by a metal band…I won’t hold my breath.
This is what a good cover should be. Not just a copy, but something unique inspired by the original. Why would I listen to a cover that's just copying the original instead of just listening to the original? What gives a cover a right to exist is using the lyrics and melody of the original, but making something unique out of it, which compliments the original but doesn't sound the same. And this is exactly what the 4 girls did here.🤟
I've previously said that The Warning is the best band that has emerged in the 21st century. But not only that, I think they serve as inspiration to everyone, not only musicians from little young girls to old guys like myself, it takes quality and hard work to achieve a mastership in anything you do. And these girls were blessed by the gods of Rock to bring the Metal that the world so badly needed, just because of their hard work.
I think they did a fantastic job along with Alessia Cara making this "their own song", the way the boys in Metallica told them to do. It adheres to the original song, but it different enough that it's their own thing. Kudos to them for accomplishing it, and KUDOS to the boys in Metallica for giving them the go ahead to do so. 🙏❤ Both parties have a piece of music to be very proud of.
Ooooommmmmmgggggg They are ammmmazing I've been searching for a good rock band for a Long time they are my taste in music ammmmazing. Thanks God for introducing me these angels ❤️❤️❤️
These ladies are like Midas. Whatever they touch turns to gold. My only suggestion would be to add another guitarist, to add a rhythm guitar part, and do the wall of sound. Not forever, just for now, to free up Dany and ALE beat the atmosphere DEEPER into submission. Pau already drives the air into incandescence.
its because they made it their own. instead of following Metallica's cord and notes, and lyrics eactly, they changed it up, made it different, but not ruining the originals meaning and style. it's a perfect recreation and cover.
Recent caught The Warning as support act for Muse, at their recent Plymouth Home Park 2023 gig. The live version of Enter Sandman that they delivered that day was simply EPIC. Much respect !!
Saw them yesterday! First time I had ever even seen them and they really impressed me with this cover. I'm not a huge fan of Enter Sandman cause I've heard it so many times now but this cover was really good. I think their stage presence really brought it all together too.
@@BeanieBabyXxyep I watched them perform at Milton Keynes yesterday too, again supporting Muse, they were a great opening act and delivered there set, with so much energy 🤘
As a guy who picked up his first guitar in 1965 I’ve seen them come and go, but you guys leave me speechless. I’m so glad to see young people come along who’ve embraced the genre with such self determination and brilliance. I feel as if I’m watching the emergence of the Beatles, Zeppelin, or Sabbath all over again. Stay fierce and true to your goals, and most importantly to yourselves. Thanks for helping an old believe again.
I picked up my first guitar in '66 and my dad beat the sht out of me because it was his guitar and he'd told me not to touch it. I was 6 and clumsy. 😂😂😂
Okay, for anyone that has played a guitar for a good bit…..that fucking verse riff she’s playing is not easy. And then, AND FUCKING THEN, she sings the way she sings whilst playing it. Been long time since I heard a song that personified the very concept of what music is. I just saw this band live tonight, and they sound this good live. They were crazy fucking good. Now I’m here.
I saw them twice in May in small clubs, up close. They are 3 rock MONSTERS. Pau on drums is a force of nature. Ale on Bass is a groove machine. And Dany on Guitar is Wonder Woman. All three sing like angels. Their songwriting is second to none. And all three are gorgeous, sweet, funny, charismatic, humble, hardworking young ladies. They are going to take the world by storm! Future Legends!
This is PURE ROCK !!! These three sisters are in sync ! Like a master blacksmith that takes different metals (influences) puts them in the crucible, works the metal and out comes the finished product, pure energy !!! They ARE STRONG !!!
Not only is the song awesome because the Warning made it their own, but whoever directed the video and the cinematography is just brilliant! The shots are all awesome!
Rudy Joffroy is listed as Co-Executive Producer, Producer, and Director. He is The Warning Co-Manager. He had a background in Movie production before he came to The Warning.
I knew Enter Sandman since I was 7, but now I’m addicted to this song because these girls , I saw their original cover in 2016, but when they performed it live for muse the song clicked in me
This isn't really Metallica anymore. Which is a good thing - too many covers try to out-do the original.. it's never gonna work. Made it your own track and it's a good track.
@@orlando8133 I'm not sure I'd go that far! The original is one of the greatest metal songs ever written... Doesn't stop this from being a fantastic cover, though!
You should listen to Type O Negative and how they do cover songs. They make it their own thing but make it sound absolutely amazing! They took a 2 minute Black Sabbath song and turned it into a 8 minute dark beautiful gothic song lol. 🤘🤘🤘
I agree. when bands just do a cover just like the original, it's just pointless. You gotta make it your own somehow. It can be close, like you really got me by van halen, but you have to tweak it somehow. How many artists have repainted the mona lisa?
This is hands down the best Enter Sandman cover that I have ever seen....and I've seen a lot! Well done The Warning, you girls rock. I watched this video after reading The Warning's Wikipedia page. An awesome evolution of three sisters who just wanna rock it their way.

Ustedes me salvaron 😢❤" Gracias Dany, Pau y Ale... 🥺
I gotta be honest I love Metallica but this version of Enter Sandman WOW blown away better then any I've heard before. The Warning and Alessia Cara knock this out of the park! They totally own it they recreated this amazing song and made it better. It's incredible The Warning is going to do amazing things going forward they are awesome keep rocking!
I had not heard of The Warning before seeing them open for Halestorm last month... so glad I don't miss the opening acts. Midway thru this song my friend and I looked over at each other and said HOLY SH!T. They will not be the opening band for long - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Wow, Wow, Wow!!!! I know that Alessia was the invited artist in this project and she shared the opportunity with The Warning but this rendition is an All The Warning Rendition. The vocals, specially, the harmonies with Alessia are amazing. The song structure is definitely a The Warning song in my opinion. Bravo ladies!!! Ale in the middle while they walk is stunning. Amazing rendition of a R&R classic. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
It was the last months of 1988, ... and justice for all! had been released a couple of days before and I persuaded my parents to travel from Monterrey, Mx to Laredo, Tx only to buy the CD. Since then I've never been so exited! The Warning has become my favorite band and I would wait a lifetime if needed. 😎🤘🏽⚡
I didn't have to leave the country to buy my first metal album but my parents wouldn't buy it for me so I got a paper route and saved up for a stereo and 4 cassettes in 1983 to buy Kill Em All, Speak of the Devil and Piece of Mind... I was 13 then 51 now and still the dame level of excitement waiting for the new music from The Warning. I wish I could be able to see Metallica and The Warning play the same show. Hopefully one day. I first seen Metallica in '89 in Halifax NS Canada, 4 more times since.

I actually can't believe how awesome this band and cover is. Like, my mind is blown. I've always loved Alessia Cara too, but this combo is legendary. Can't wait to see what more awesomeness we get from The Warning.
Wow!! Love the vocal harmonies. And the delivery of the little prayer was perfect! It's so rare to have such an exceptional cover of anything by Metallica. Wonderful musicians. I can't wait for the opportunity to hear them live, and hope to hear these three young sisters develop as one of the best rock bands ever!
I've been in love with this band for a few years now, and this full circle performance just seals the deal for me. Sometimes it feels like The Warning is single-handedly keeping the fire of real guitar-based rock music alive! This version of Metallica's classic has it's own spin, but then tips its hat to the the original song's vibe in the end. Gave me goosebumps. These women "get" rock music, show deep respect for what came before them, and are simultaneously blazing new trails about what rock should be in the 21st century and who "gets" to play it. I'm a fan for life.
You and thousands understand exactly what you just wrote. I’m 63 years old and having been supporting these Phenomenal young ladies like no other band ever! Now to help them become one the best of all time which just know they will! 😉❤️😉
This is the best song from the Blacklist Album in my opinion I’ve gone through all of them and some are ok some are really bad but this one is perfect from start to finish congratulations ladies on a great song.
My favorite is Mon Laferte's with her andino style for Nothing Else Matters (Nada Mas Cuenta). That's a style by our indigenous people in Latin America which bands like Los Jaivas and the sort from Chile and other places in Latin America would fuse with their music to create such magical sounds ahead of their time. We are really happy she proudly represented for this cover hopefully bringing it to a larger audience to enjoy. ❤
A new approach to this song. I was actually waiting for the main Riff. The way they put it at the end, with so much energy, that's just Fantastic. Now that's a cover worth listening to. You girls rock!!!!!!!!
I love it. Sounds cool, kinda poppy, like a "easy-listening" version. Don't get people who bash it by comparing it to the original. It's clearly not meant to copy or imitate, but be it's own adaptation. And it does a good job at that! 👍🏼
Aaron T Roctz just posted the FS1 video of the Warning opening they are using for college football- pretty cool but I would have liked to see them incorporate the main riff somehow.
I recently discovered the band. The parents provided excellent guidance on music. I really like the drummer Paulina and the bass player is becoming a goddess. The beginning of the video of Ale walking is something...The band definetely need a brazilian tour!
Its a good thing that in interviews, Dany comes off as a well-grounded, intelligent, happy individual. The fierce faces she makes during performances are occasionally straight out of Jack Nicholson's descent into madness in "The Shining".
Truth! The manic facial expressions she puts on stage almost don't match the girls' vibe, but are very endearing and shows you her passion. I love this group!
I really like the contrast when they switch to the original version at the end. They changed it to their own but still showed Metallica respect at the end of the song. That was clever as hell
It slipped away from the eldritch horror feel of the original, and went with a modern industrial horror for the body of the song, but yeah, the end was good homage.
The transition between "hush, little baby" and the final riff is out of this world... Bravo por The Warning and Alessia. Greetings from Ecuador lml lml
30 years ago, I was a 19 year old metal head who made sure I went to the record store to buy the black album on the day of release. Now I’m waiting for the new The Warning album. Same feels. Good cover, not my favorite Metallica song, but it works.
k but Y'ALL in the comments, make some respect for alessia too!? are you hearing her harmonies in the background right? like wow. also, her sweet voice is so beautiful. kudos to alessia too. 💛 the warning are amazingggg tooo, perfect collab 😍
Alessia has my respect. She did a fantastic job on this song, but in all honesty, I'll probably never hear her sing again. I just don't l i ke her genre of music at all.
@@Rick-u1l brother they have a cover from when they were preteens doing the old shit incredibly well for their age
And this is exactly what the 4 girls did here.🤟
Very good
Really impressed. So happy to have discovered these girls!!!
I hear they are going to single handedly cure world hunger as well
You are more than right. Am also absolutely inspired by them, and I can’t point what exactly inspired me the most. But everything does .
Being a Metallica fan since the mid 80s, this is badass!!
I just discovered The Warning. This is flippin’ awesome.
Welcome to the rabbit hole
Absolutely agree with you.
They're gonna blow the Emmy's and Grammy opposition away very soon
Ooooommmmmmgggggg
They are ammmmazing I've been searching for a good rock band for a Long time they are my taste in music ammmmazing. Thanks God for introducing me these angels ❤️❤️❤️
Yess!!! Thank you! I watched the Midnight Sun Announcement trailer and love this song already so I searched right away.
HELLYEAH!!! I'M A GUITAR PLAYER,, YOU MADE METALLICA EAT DUST WITH THAT ,, GREAT JOB LADIES!!!!
This is by far the best 'Enter Sandman' cover I've ever heard...and there are thousands of it! These girls really made the song their own. Great job!❤
VOICE OF BACEPROT lebih enak
the Juanes version is also a good one !!! but I'm proud of both latin versions of this song !!! :) Congratulations Warning !!!
Motorhead's is up there among the best.
its because they made it their own. instead of following Metallica's cord and notes, and lyrics eactly, they changed it up, made it different, but not ruining the originals meaning and style.
it's a perfect recreation and cover.

What a beautiful version!
My hats off to young people that understand what good music is about!
Recent caught The Warning as support act for Muse, at their recent Plymouth Home Park 2023 gig. The live version of Enter Sandman that they delivered that day was simply EPIC. Much respect !!
🤟🏼
Saw them yesterday! First time I had ever even seen them and they really impressed me with this cover. I'm not a huge fan of Enter Sandman cause I've heard it so many times now but this cover was really good. I think their stage presence really brought it all together too.
@@BeanieBabyXxyep I watched them perform at Milton Keynes yesterday too, again supporting Muse, they were a great opening act and delivered there set, with so much energy 🤘
...and this is how you "make it your own". Bravo!!
Absolutely awesome version. Sounds even better live.
Very nice words!.
They are a great inspiration to me and many other people.
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Not just great musicians, but also great human beings.
I picked up my first guitar in '66 and my dad beat the sht out of me because it was his guitar and he'd told me not to touch it. I was 6 and clumsy. 😂😂😂
@@markbell4982 - That explains a lot Mark. You’re still socially clumsy.
The Warning Band has renewed my love for Rock and Roll.
Just found these guys, the drummer absolutely ROCKS!!
She's incredible and a big part of why the band is so awesome. She just won Best Rock Drummer of the Year.
Dany is an underrated guitarist
I saw them twice in May in small clubs, up close. They are 3 rock MONSTERS. Pau on drums is a force of nature. Ale on Bass is a groove machine. And Dany on Guitar is Wonder Woman. All three sing like angels. Their songwriting is second to none. And all three are gorgeous, sweet, funny, charismatic, humble, hardworking young ladies. They are going to take the world by storm! Future Legends!

Not only is the song awesome because the Warning made it their own, but whoever directed the video and the cinematography is just brilliant! The shots are all awesome!

I knew Enter Sandman since I was 7, but now I’m addicted to this song because these girls , I saw their original cover in 2016, but when they performed it live for muse the song clicked in me
Lo hicieron en 2014
This isn't really Metallica anymore. Which is a good thing - too many covers try to out-do the original.. it's never gonna work.
Made it your own track and it's a good track.
This may be the coolest cover I have ever heard in my life
Gotta love a band who have the talent to do a cover that uses aspects of the original but makes it their own. Very nice.
Hats off to the original but, this version is way better!
@@orlando8133 I'm not sure I'd go that far! The original is one of the greatest metal songs ever written... Doesn't stop this from being a fantastic cover, though!
@@orlando8133 the original shits all over this.
I’ve heard a lot of different covers of this song, but this one by far is the best. I’ve never heard it done this way and I love it..

I cannot believe their version of this. It is incredible. So different and moving. Great job ladies.
Just heard this at the end of Imperfects and I did not see this coming. Awesome take on the song!
Check out the rest of their music, 3 albums and an EP full of great music
The way they made us wait for the riff - so incredibly awesome

Great cover, the vocal harmonies are fantastic. Two tickets secured for the London gig and can't wait
Omg, that walk at the beginning is hecking hypnotic! What a cracking cover!
The future of rock is in good hands. Rock on ladies and thanks for sharing!
This is a masterpiece. Way, way beyond good.
WHY DOES THIS WORK? WTF? This melody, this riff, this arrangement, this INSIDIOUS groove...HOW?
Blame it on the Villareal Velez sisters! Their songwriting abilities are 🔥🔥🔥
Wow, Wow, Wow!!!!
Wow!! I didn't think that coukd be covered in any other way nut the original. You girls have done something spectacular with a classic.

Hats off to these fine ladies for making this song their own way and also having it as a main song to the Beautiful game Marvel Midnight Suns
