Just a few references that you possibly missed. The Air Ride Machines from Air Ride were originally from the anime, considering that the 'Air Ride' ep was actually episode 95-96 of Hoshi No Kaabii. With that said, the fact that the warp star is horizontal instead of vertical was also put into Air Ride, although that may be more of a stretch. The Meteor smash minigame from Star Allies could be a reference to "The Prediction Predicament, Part 2" of Right Back at Ya, where a giant metor is hurling towards Popstar that could end the land. Baton Kirby, while this one is a stretch, could have influenced Staff Kirby in Star Allies. Metaknight's dark voice, mostly for when he talks stuff, sounds similar to how he sounds in the anime, although not exactly the same. And Metal Kirby from Squeak Squad could be a nod to Iron Kirby.
Oh man, I loved that show as a kid. I watched it and didn't even know Kirby was a gaming franchise, when I got Kirby Superstar Ultra for my birthday I remember freaking out.
Gaboflandre Yaay Me too. I just like to think that the anime may be canon to the games. If it is not canon, I'm fine with that as long as HAL remembers the anime itself.

It makes me really happy knowing they didn’t just forget about right back at ya. The show did an AWESOME job translating Kirby into a tv show, while using elements in the games in a new unique way that doesn’t feel like it forsake the original. The tone is very “Kirby.” Light hearted fun, but there is something more grand happening in the background, and THAT is my favorite part of this series. Kirby in general is just special to me!
Yeah, I'd hesitate to call the Toxic Atomic Curry an anime reference, since its appearance in the anime was itself a reference to the Superspicy Curry power-up from Kirby's Dream Land.
bringing tuff back as a spear enemy (Since he resembles the spear throwing enemies in 64,) would also be cool. Maybe tiff could be an ally with a sort of star themed moveset.
The plate of food that Kirby has in front of him in the ultimate choice is the same from the anime with the name “stamina stew” that chef Kawasaki gives to Kirby to defeat the red viper
The anime was truly impeccable It had a lot of morals to the story like, no matter where you are, your friends will always be there for you and it made me cry in nearly all of the episodes.

I knew someone was gonna make something like this eventually. I'm grateful for it! Edit: You forgot in Mass Attack's Kirby Quest in the Dedede Battle, When Dedede attacks Kirby, Escargoon makes a brief cameo passing by. Edit 2: Nevermind he did show it. I didn't pay attention to it.
its Dreamland > Anime > Smash > Mass Attack Dreamland > Kumazaki Games in my Opinion (came smash curry befor or after the Kirby anime could be after right?)
You missed a very subtle reference in Kirby Squeak Squad. It's actually something you really gotta pay attention to catch, but it's still clearly from the anime. When Kirby has the Fighter ability, his idle animation shows him rubbing his nose. This is a gesture Knuckle Joe keeps doing in the anime. Kirby imitates the gesture when he copies him.
-Wasn't Galaxia called the Master Sword in- -Amazing Mirror?- *Edit:* Master is the name of the ability. the sword is indeed called Galaxia. (although I don't see the reasoning on showing the Dark Meta Knight fight in this scene...) The part with Escargoon also had Waddle Doo with a sword, like he does in the Anime. Superspicy Curry existed way back in Kirby's Dreamland for the Gameboy. The poorly drawn Dedede sticker could a reference or it could not. There's no way to tell, but considered Dedede has a star on his crown, like he did in some of the Dededeman drawings in the episode, I'd say sure, it probably was inspired by it. I'd say Buff Dedede may or may not be inspired by his buff design in the anime. There is no way to tell. However, there is a resemblance, so it works. Also, there are like 3 different Buff Dedede designs in the anime. His design is Power Ploy seems the most similar to the one in Star Allies, although his clothes aren't ripped. I'd say the Waddle Doo one at the end could be a coincidence, similar to how Blade and Sword are Meta Knight's Allies.
I thought that the first time Galaxia was mentioned as the name of the sword outside of the anime was in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, in the description of the Meta Knight trophy.
Considering Evil Kirby is blatantly referenced in Star Allies, and Buff Dedede appears in the same episode IIRC, I'm pretty sure it was inspired by it.
But evil Kirby isnt Canon (thank you kumazaki for subtle non story breaking easter eggs) they implemented him Awesome because kirby cant be Possesd in the Games

Also, I don't know if Adeleine was added Star Allies by the time this video was uploaded but one of the creatures she spawns is Octakon from the first episode of the anime
In Star Allie’s there a title screen animation where two Blade Knights (one of them being blue) consult each other when they encounter Dark Meta Knight, only for the real Meta Knight to show up and chase Dark Meta Knight. This might be a reference to how Sword and Blade are Allie’s to Meta Knight which was their role in the anime. 4:12 I hate to say it but, FALSE! To understand this, we must go waaay back to 1992, when Kirby's Dreamland, his first game, was released. In this game, Kirby can fly, inhale enemies, and spit them out as stars. However, Kirby did not have his copy ability in this game! But did this stop our hero from getting cool powers? No! There were about half a dozen items which, if Kirby interacted with, would transform the puff ball. Among these powers was- you guessed it- a plate of hot curry that allow Kirby to spew Fireballs at his enemies. This means that this is not a reference to the anime, rather the anime was referencing Kirby's Dreamland, and this game is also doing that.
In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, there is a reference to Tiff when you go over to where meta knight is just standing on top of the pillar at the arena, elfilin talks about how meta knight is so cool, and I think Tiff said something similar to this.
Things you forgot to mention: -Cleaning in _Star Allies_ is based off the anime design since _Dreamland 3_ has no hats -During the Escargoon attack, Waddle Doo carries a sword like he did in the anime -Meta Knight's signature cape wrap pose appears in _Revenge of Meta Knight, Return to Dream Land,_ and _Battle Royale._ -Adeleine can summon Octacon with her Painter skill _(this one is excused since the video was uploaded before her update came out)_
I wish the anime would have their own game. I really loved watching this and especially the characters. Maybe they could give Yamikage and Metaknight's old friends Garlude and Knuckle Joe's father more story. I mean Yamikage couldn't appear again, because the writers wife was dying while they had to work on the final of the anime. That was also the reason why the final seemed so rushed. It would be great to see the anime characters again. The show self has a special place in my heart! I mean oof just please give at least Sirica an appearence somewhere in a game..
I just a adore that the anime set a lot of references and secrets for the games. It’s one of my favorite anime and is one I always come back to (in fact I was watching the Max Flexer episode “Fitness fiend” earlier today). Also I personally think that the ability “metal” from squeak squad is a reference to “iron” from the anime as well.
"The curry attack is based on the Toxic Atomic Curry from the anime" This is actually incorrect. The "Superspicy Curry" as it is known as, first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land, *the very first Kirby game*
Regarding Epic Yarn, you forgot other three references, every time you enter a stage there's the sound from the title cards, Dedede uses zoy in the Japanese dialogue of the game, the anime castle is in Epic Yarn too, in Mass Attack Captain Waddle Doo also appears in Kirby Quest, the curry is not a reference to the anime, it was in the anime but was originally in the very first game, the cleaning ability hat first appeared in the anime and the one in Star Allies is almost identical except for the colors, also, you forgot various music tracks originated from the anime appearing in the games, examples being Triple Deluxe, Rainbow Curse and especially Air Ride, not saying they all had to be here, simply stating so and putting a few seconds of Checker Knights would have been enough, I just guess you're not familiar with the Japanese version of the anime.
Actually the Super Spicy Curry attack is a reference to its debut game, Kirby's Dream Land. This food item also made several appearances in the Super Smash Bros series as well as in the anime.

In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, there is a reference to Tiff when you go over to where meta knight is just standing on top of the pillar at the arena, elfilin talks about how meta knight is so cool, and I think Tiff said something similar to this.
Bonus: Nightmare’s voice clips in _Super Kirby Clash_ are provided by Banjo Ginga, the same guy who voiced him in the anime!
Things you forgot to mention:
-Cleaning in _Star Allies_ is based off the anime design since _Dreamland 3_ has no hats
-During the Escargoon attack, Waddle Doo carries a sword like he did in the anime
-Meta Knight's signature cape wrap pose appears in _Revenge of Meta Knight, Return to Dream Land,_ and _Battle Royale._
-Adeleine can summon Octacon with her Painter skill _(this one is excused since the video was uploaded before her update came out)_
I was actually really surprised by the attention to detail these games have.
5:50 wow-wow-wow! Kirby, calm down!!!
I NEEDA MONSTER TO CLOBAH THAT THERE KERBE
I'LL KICK DAT KERBEH 2 DA KURB!
THAT'S WHAT WE DO BEST AT NME!
The 8-bit fan *EPIC TRUMPET SOLO PLAYS*
OH! KIRBY KIRBY KIRBY! SAVING THE DAY!
you fucked up the groove dude
I wish the anime would have their own game. I really loved watching this and especially the characters. Maybe they could give Yamikage and Metaknight's old friends Garlude and Knuckle Joe's father more story. I mean Yamikage couldn't appear again, because the writers wife was dying while they had to work on the final of the anime. That was also the reason why the final seemed so rushed. It would be great to see the anime characters again. The show self has a special place in my heart! I mean oof just please give at least Sirica an appearence somewhere in a game..
I mean pacman had few games insired after his cartoon so i think your idea is also possible
As you can see the main character is Kirby which is a subtle nod to the anime Kirby right back at ya
2:23 I will never forget that laugh
You mean the Japanese one or the English one?
4:17 - well, actually the curry attack comes from the first Kirby's Dreamland
You forgot that the acid monster “Popon” appeared at the end of each level in star allies, acting as the spring to launch Kirby up.
He was an enemy in dreamland 3 before the anime
I did't notice those easter eggs in squeak squad
I just a adore that the anime set a lot of references and secrets for the games. It’s one of my favorite anime and is one I always come back to (in fact I was watching the Max Flexer episode “Fitness fiend” earlier today).
Also I personally think that the ability “metal” from squeak squad is a reference to “iron” from the anime as well.
meanwhile remembering that in the anime "Buff Dedede" was referred to as "Devil Dedede"
It’s so cute when Kirby says *POYO!!*
God, I miss the early 2000s
"The curry attack is based on the Toxic Atomic Curry from the anime"
This is actually incorrect.
The "Superspicy Curry" as it is known as, first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land, *the very first Kirby game*
How about those times that Sword in Revenge of The King appeared with his anime color pallette?
Ahh Kirby squeak squad. Man this bring back childhood memories
I Miss the anime so much
5:56 we all had serious flashbacks when we first saw this.
6:15 this is from the same episode
In addition to the Curry appearing in KDL1, he started saying "Poyo" at least as far back as Kirby 64.
And Return to Dreamland introduced Meta Knight's habit of wrapping his cape around when not fighting in games.
Steven, Kirby 64 doesn't have poyo and it was released a year before the anime
The Dream Land Otaking The Super Spicy Curry was in the first game, but the effect it has in Mass Attack was based off the anime.
@@PhantomDusclops92 no, I first wrapt my cape folded style in super star ultra
5:41
*little old me a hero? SURELY YOU JESTIN'*
The water ability one was always mind blowing to me since I swore it was in a different game other than before Return to Dreamland
You forgot that Dedede’s Castle appears with its anime design in Kirby’s Epic Yarn
2:14 AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
THE NIGHTMARE ENTERPRISES SALESMAN !!!!!!!!!!!
In Japanese: The same voice as Nightmare (Banjo Ginga)
In English:The Voice of (Yami) Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh(Dan Green).
Games: Kirby & the amazing morrior (2004) Kirby squeak squad (2006-2007) Kirby Super Star ultra (2008-2009) Kirby’s epic yarn (2010-2011) Kirby mass attack (2011) Kirby’s return to dream land (2011-2012) Kirby planet robobot (2016) Kirby Star Allies (2017-2018)
Also fire dedede in star allies can be a refrence to our hero, meta knight will never talk about.
Actually the Super Spicy Curry attack is a reference to its debut game, Kirby's Dream Land. This food item also made several appearances in the Super Smash Bros series as well as in the anime.
