Get rid of the drop in bedliner and put a LINE-X style spray in if your concerned about the paint. Drop in bedliners actually damage the paint and accelerate rust as they trap in any water that may get under them.
Matt you made me want some more storage space. Sadly I fill my bed up with gravel, mulch, etc. I can't see taking that out every time I get a load of something. So I'll Just stick with my truck box=(. Anyway enjoyed watch it go together! I see why you needed that headache bar, you needed something higher to strap the fridge to when you move it, lol. ... BTW don't take this comment as a dislike, I am enjoying all your mods so far. Keep up the good work.
Hi. Thanks for the installation video. Lots of good info. Now that it's been two years, are you still using the Decked system? What are your thoughts, long term? Also, can you tell me what the distance is from the top of the Decked system and the top of the bed? Thanks again!
Been contemplating one of these for overland travel. Just dont know how much room I would gain over using my tool box, especially if I consider taking larger camping items like a cooler, generator, etc.
I have a 2018 Frontier about like yous but a spray in factory Bedliner. I really wanted to see the tie downs so thanks for that. IDK why you want to put the Bedliner back in except that you are used to the color, but to each his own. I also have the tie-down system at the top of the rails and do not think it will cause any problems. I Installed a Sawtooth cover for the bed and it will provide a bit more cover for the Decked system as well as anything I am able to put in the reduced bed heights - that is a real concern, not much height for carrying things. Overall great video, hope the use of a drill driver instead of hand tools did not cause any problems.
Thank sharing your build. How have you liked it so far? Do you miss having use of your full bed? Have you tried removing the system for those special situations where you need your full bed? I'm completely torn about getting this for my Nissan Frontier.
Would this fit if I have the stock spray in liner that my truck came with and the utili-tracks? Also, the drawers don’t have a lock and the ammo style bins on the sides don’t lock either, correct?
Yes, it will fit with a spray in bedliner. It is mounted using a combination of hooks and nutserts; the hooks are adjustable and the location of the nutserts is determined by the placement of the storage system so a slight change in height because of bedliner thickness won't matter. The drawers have an optional lock; I chose to install a power tailgate lock that effectively accomplishes the same thing
Sorry I'm not trying to downplay this storage system but my 2016 Frontier has a nice color coordinated shell that is secure and could hold a lot more stuff than this in bed storage system. Just your frame takes up a lot of space. I take mine camping at times too. Of course the limitation with fiberglass tops is that you cant haul tall items.

I put the decked system in my superduty. It's definitely one of the best things I've put on my work truck.
That's cool I want one for my truck now
Enjoying the build

Same here, 5' bed frontier. I'm contemplating building one, can't afford this.

It's been 6 months... How do you like the system? Were you able to reinstall the bedliner?
A timber cruiser might need a oil pan skid plate
Hey Matt...you know where I can get a set of governor flyballs for a mep-003a?
Kinda skipped the installing of the last couple of wheels...which are a bit tricky.
