Recipes - We don't measure much in our home cooking but here's a guide for what we made to help you:
    Basic Bread Recipe
    2 cups warm water
    1 1/2 tsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar (when making cinnamon rolls add about 1 cup suagr instead)
Activate yeast by mixing ingredients and let sit for 5-10 mins until yeast is frothy and bubbly.
    Then add:
    2 tbsp oil
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp salt
4 cups flour (+ extra if needed)
Mix the dough to form a shaggy texture. Then start kneading. Feel the dough and if it's too sticky, add 1 tbsp flour at a time and knead a little until just incorporated.
Knead dough for about 5 mins, the dough should start coming together and should not be shaggy. You should start to feel the flour getting hydrated by the water.
Cover and let sit in a warm place for 30 mins to 1 hour (until about doubled in size) or put in the oven (oven should be off with a light on) or if you have a warm/proof setting you may use that.

Rosa I was just thinking these lovely buns would be the star of the show at a non vegan pot luck and then I thought, what a wonderful gift! I find it really cool that cinnamon rolls are pretty inexpensive to make but they taste like $1 million!

They are truly a delight! We have fun baking intuitively! Especially working with dough it’s so fun like playing with play dough but we get the reward of eating it after 🤗

They did turn out so fluffy! I’m too lazy to knead by hand so I use my bread machine to knead and proof the dough! Your helpers did a great job (as always)!

Hi Mindy! Yes same here I sometimes make bread just by mixing the flour just enough and that’s it but it still works fine! Try this recipe and let us know what you think!

The cinnamon rolls look super duper delicious!! I was thinking you could use a pastry brush to add the oil to the parchment paper for a more even coating...not that it really matters!! 😉 P.S. Oh how I would love to be a taste tester for your yummy recipes!! 😃 All the kids looked like they enjoyed the fruit of their labor!!! Well Done!!! Praying Trey has a full recovery!!

Hi Sakina! Thank you so much for well wishes for Trey! Yes the pastry brush could be used but the oil just seems to go everywhere anyway lol we enjoyed these so much it’s the kids new favorite and they’re learning to make it themselves!

@@thehaipath I have used oat flour to make cinnamon rolls before but I found it to be very oaty. I am going to experiment with other combinations of grains to see what transpires. I love your idea of using just cinnamon and sugar and coconut oil. I tried it with a date spread but it was a little cloying.
