Thanks for a very well-made video. But after attempting this myself, I can safely say that loosening the front bumper and reaching in from the top is unnecessary, takes longer and is harder to do. Even if you attempt this method, when it comes to removing the bottom clips, you still can't reach in to push the tabs, so pulling and brute force is required anyway. By far the simpler method is to use a plastic pry tool. Slip it in-between the bumper and grill and pry the grill off, one clip at a time. As long as you are gentle, the clips just pop out without breaking. The most useful thing to know is where the clips are so you know where to put the pry tool. The bumper and gill are all plastic so there seems to be enough flex in the materials for this pry method to work.
@@kaisersosak2371 Yes, easier just to pull it off than try to come in from the top, but even easier and less likely to damage the lugs if you strategically use a plastic pry tool approximately where the clips are.
All you have to do is pull them out. Not necessary to do all those screws and weather strip. I have 2016 LCI with night vision and there is one additional screw before you pull.
Don Dixon Wanted something with boost and a V8, especially the S63TU for modding. A lot more updated tech was another reason too. E60 M5 still is great though
FCP Euro parts failed me prematurely every time so now I don’t ever order from them. Everyone has their own experience though. For me, no point in having lifetime warranty and replacing same part after couple of months each time.
Pale__Horseman That would be the manufacture of the parts, not FCP as they don’t make their own parts. Could be either a not so good OEM brand that you’re buying, but they always make it right if you reach out to them.
BMW Fanatic I actually did reach out and after the 3rd part failed, I gave up and went elsewhere. Could’ve been super unlucky for me on the parts but like I said everyone has their own experience and for you they could work flawlessly but for me the few parts I got did not work out. I didn’t make a big deal and ask for my money back but I did share my experience.

I just pulled mine of brute force by grabbing them and pulling, surprisingly didnt break one clip and was alot quicker than taking off bolts

Definitely one of the best "no skill"(your words not ours!) ways to bring some class back to that front end!
Easy DIY that anyone can do on their end! 👍🏻😊
This car broke on me so many times. I miss it but I’m more happy getting rid of it vs when I bought it.
Black grill looks trendy but maybe would have been better with perimeter chrome trim. Nice car though.
Great video, especially since you show and explain how relatively uncomplicated it is to do this mod.
Cut the slats off on the old one and reach through and pop the clips. Took me 5 min.
Should’ve wrapped those V braces in silver while you had the grills out.
Is the m5 emblem detachable from the grill? My m5 emblem is chipped all i want to do is swap the m5 emblem
The only thing that i m scared if is that i ll forget which screw goes back to its place 🤦🏼♂️
Great video. Absolutely gorgeous car 👍
How much horsepower does this give you?

Congratulations and thank you for taking my advice on getting an F10 like mine
Well, ONE of many but still matching mine nevertheless
What was your deciding factor between the F10 M5 vs E60 M5?

Dude, how do you know so much about cars?
Dan Patrick Talking BMW tech’s ears off haha
