- The greatest manga arc of all time is FINALLY getting animated so i decided to make an analysis of all the things i thought were notable in the opening.
Comment down below anything i missed or your thoughts on this opening
Always thought the shot at 9:00 was some off screen scene of Nanami getting up after being burned by Jogo. Especially since he's the only one of the three Jogo victims that we see after the fact

The OP changed in later episodes to show the growing damage done to Shibuya and Tokyo, plus the shot of everyone together is replaced by a picture of rubble

3:34 it seems to me that the creature is mahoraga because of yuji`s transformation into sukuna. I have not read the manga tho
6:53 when I first saw this intro for the first time I just realized so quick that that was toji fushiguro there but I first thought that him or that's not him then he appears In an episode then I was right now
3:32 I always thought the mouth thing was Sukana’s domain expansion. Because of his little shrine containing a set of teeth and how Yuji turns into Sukana
Another thing you didn't mention in 11:46 is the background having those lines representing the slicing and dicing of Malevolent Shrine.
Toge haven't lost his arm on the opening yet because that will be on the culling game arc.
To me, the mouth at 3:32 is the one behind (or below, idk) Sukuna's throne in his domain

Who is the girl with the bluish eye and light pinkish hair crying right after Mechamaru arises, and a girl (Nobara? covers her heart)? Right before the mouth opens and Yuki becomes Sukuna?
That was Miwa , she has light blue hair .

The person in the fire could be nanami when nanami survived the fire against jogo and speaking of jogo the flames that are over jogo are a refrence to the fight with sukuna AND speaking of sukuna/itadori the mouth is the grasshopper yuji fought
