Laura, that green slouchy couch is growing on me! I think some globa style pillows, like kiln pillows would bring it to a very cool level! I love everything you score and think of you when I'm shopping and thrifting and yard saling! You are a wonderful inspiration! You need to publish a book of your style and finds!

Hi Laura, first thing I thought of when I saw that wooden-rail looking piece was for showing/holding scarfs. Thanks for the field trip to your friends gallery…how fun to see all her talent. I picked up a beautiful embroidered peasant dress at a yard sale n wish it fit n love the idea of finding someone with talent to make it fit. Can’t wait for your flea market video! 🙋♀️❤️

Hey Laura, you could cut the belt on each side and put metal eyelets 15:11 that you can thread leather laces thru and make it adjustable. Then you can wear it now and over big sweaters later.
I love the clothing. My style back in my old hippie days. Just beautiful. My son is a saddle maker and leather workman. Take your belt to someone who works with leather and have them add three leather pieces that would match the three buckle pieces. I would love to shop with you. I also just wanted to tell you that you remind me so much of my sweet young friend Bambi. She repurposes furniture in a small town called Grafton in Nebraska. I love her so much.😊😊
I debated whether to mention this (because I want to buy it all),but since the proceeds go to a great cause, I’ll share. In Sebastopol, Ca, there is a thrift store that is stuffed full of fabric, notions, and crafts. You can find the most amazing items there, old quilts, tapestries, sewing machines, candle-making supplies, the list goes on and on. It’s called The Legacy, prices are FABULOUS, $2 a lb for most fabric! There are two employees and the rest of us (around 50 total) volunteer, proceeds go to the local senior center. I promise it’s worth the trip! 🧵 🪡 ❤
You have inspired me to decorate my space, tiny living with different styles, different decor. My husband & I have become vintage thrifters & Vintage resellers we are only like an hour and 20 minutes from portland. You are the reason, for the inspiration of vintage reselling and interior decorating. Thank You Laura
Thanks for the office sneak peek! Have you considered draping fabric from the ceiling once you are able to get rid of the halogens (if it’s allowed)? I think it would look beautiful and fit in with your Moroccan lighting…and give you an excuse to thrift textiles. 😉
Laura you have amazing taste!! I love what you pick up always. You inspire the decor in my own home:) Your office is looking beautiful!! Thanks for letting us see it before it's completed...that was super thoughtful.
Lovely revamping of old textiles I am a needle and thread freak. Have been since I was 5 yrs old. After 45 years of quilting I have scraps up the wazoo. I make all my greeting cards..BD, Ann, Holidays Large family on both sides. All I need to buy is card stock.have collected buttons, braids and trims for years. My Aunt recently gifted me 45 crocheted doilies and table runners. She used to do antque linen shows. Party time. Fussy cutting flowers from the doilies...tea dying the pieces.... Use all different pieces on my cards. I need and want to live to be 120 at least to use my stash. Everything gets repurposed. 🇨🇦
Hang the wooden spindle piece on the wall as a shelf add a piece of glass for the top everything is gorgeous looking forward to seeing the choice you choose for the studio
Hi, Laura! Loved Jenny’s Gallery! Beautiful clothing! Loved Mya’s boots! Reminds me of me in my white go go boots I used to wear in the 60’s! Great video!🥰👍💜
Laura, you have amazing taste in your finds. The studio is coming along, and yes, it is your style to a T!! I love your style and will be on the lookout for similarities in Houston!
On the belt cut it in 3rds, punch holes and add lacing. Leather or even different colored shoe laces. Or cut straps of bandana and braid to make lacing.
That upcycled jacket, that you called wabisabi, was stunning! Lots of pretty blue floral items you picked up today! That elephant was so cute!!!!! That leather belt was like whoa, amazing! What a find on the atomic lamp! Studio is looking great! I think a green color would be perfect for the wall with the shelving! Your treasures will look so pretty! Congrats on the YT award!
I am so loving the studio. Blue and green are my two favourite colours. Also love seeing the progress as you go. I think it’s helpful to see the steps you take to make it complete. Watching from Australia and learning heaps from you. Keep up the good work.
