The only bad thing for me about uncletopia is that I can't play it since I'm from Argentina and my ping goes to 150, when it goes over 150 it takes me out due to the ping limit, the truth is that I would like to play too much on that server

I've only been playing on Uncletopia servers for the last months and it's great!
The only nitpick I have are the class limits. I'd prefer it if in some way it would be recommended instead of being imposed on.
Kind of makes the game slightly too serious at times, because I really miss those rare but silly rounds where the whole BLU team goes Heavy, hogging the payload and RED gets absolutely slaughtered at first, until everyone on RED goes engie and builds a massive sentry fortress…
It's one of the things that makes tf2 so special for me, being able to sometimes just do really stupid but funny stuff.
Or at least make it so that people can vote to disable the class limits
I think there should only be class limits for sniper and spy. It is incredibly annoying to play on a team where more than 50% of the other players are pick classes. Those meme games are epic.

"It's got everything!" Aka it's got nothing. I can't join them. At all. I always get kicked due to failing the "latency check" no matter what server I join. So I have never been able to play in an uncletopia server. I love Uncle Danes content, but his servers DO suck purely because i can't play em. 0/10
Words cannot describe how thankful I am for uncletopia servers I would have quit if I am being honest, I had been playing less but once I saw dane’s video on uncletopia I was like oh ya booted the game up and man it felt so refreshing to play the game again. And as someone who likes to play semi competitive it was a refresher to have no crits and no bullet spread. Made me remember the reason I fell in love with the game. Does sometimes suck when you can’t play as 11 Russian men with 1 German and win the game in 1 minute but sometimes that has to happen to enjoy the game as a whole. Can’t believe one person has to carry the game on his back. Their is other servers of course but none of them feel as close to casual as uncletopia does.

I’ve found that uncletopia is… fine. There’s a lot of tryhards, lot less randomness (which turns fights around) and the class limit is stupid, this isn’t overwatch there is no special game winning team comp, so why only 3 of each class? I wanna play pyro to counter the god-spy and 2 of our pyros are afk and the one that has a keyboard doesn’t know what game they are playing. Overall 4.5/10 it’s a server but if you want something more casual don’t join

I played on Uncletopia for a while for the first time. I was pretty trash since I was still getting used to playing the game after 3 years. It was still fun though.

Uncletopia still needs to remove all sniper rifles from the sniper. It still sucks to have class that can deal 150 damage at 0.2 sec with INIFITE range
Especially when every other class is close/mid range.

Yeah, pretty much. I quit tf2 because of casual, and uncletopia brought me right back. I was terrified to get back into playing an fps because my friends sucked me into a moba game for a couple of years, but the folks on the east coast us servers were generally apathetic towards the scout who couldnt aim his gun, or the soldier who couldnt rocket jump to save his life. More than apathy, some of the people are downright friendly, and I can say I've never had a bad experience with the other gamers in the loby. I think its a testament to the quality of the servers that I was downright oblivious to the bot problem, even when a friend was telling me how bad things were.

I really like the ideo of a server with no bots on 24/7 but uncletopia is just a bit competetive for my taste, random bullet spread is a part of the game and random crits are very funny, I dont see myself playing on them in the future, but im glad other people like his servers :)

I feel like people should have the option to use a weapon that is worse than stock but still usable (Airstrike, liberty launcher, loose cannon) as a way to challenge themselves and see how good they are without a good weapon.

Uncle topia was good before he advertised it. After he did, it became a toxic, slur-filled mess with annoying players I stick with casual most of the time bots are pretty much eradicated.

I appreciate the Uncletopia servers existing during the worst part of the bot crisis, though I found them to be total sweatfests anytime I played on those servers. Every game I played was an absolute steamroll one way or the other

But I think they set it to 0.01% chance witch is like winning a lottery or getting golden pan drop lol.
I appreciate everything the guy has done, but my only issue with this is the people who play on the servers. It's not that they're toxic or unpleasant (no more than usual), they're just too good. As a new player it's like repeatedly hitting your head against a brick wall trying to knock it down. Pubs may be ded or have bots, but they don't have a 10,000 hour sniper or a 15000 hour scout or even a 5000 hour soldier going around and wiping the floor with everyone who isn't a pro all the time. Even if it's better to learn against people who know what they're doing, it's not fun going 7 and 40 on upward while half of your team still happens to be snipers and spies.
I played uncletopia alot when the bot crisis happened.All i tought was just a community server that has core tf2 without random crits.Then i realized everyone was comp players that doesnt wants to que for comp.And then ı just accepted normal tf2 again.
I respect everything Dane is doing but personally, the Dogshit Game Design that TF2 Has is a lot of the reason why I still play it

"Just good old TF2" doesn't have class limits, no random crits, no bullet spread and a ping limit to punish people who live in areas with no support. Uncletopia is far, far from being just good old TF2. It's anything but.

The closest server to that is funnily enough The Furrypound, it has absolutely no mods or plugins that change up the game and it's just regular TF2, which was the last thing I expected from a furry server lol

uncletopia consistently has the whiniest and saltiest people i run into while playing this game. the only redeeming qualities are the lack of bots, and the fact that the server isnt too loaded down with plugins to run well on low end pcs, unlike every other big community server. aside from that, it is almost always a genuinely miserable experience. class limits are just stupid in a casual setting, random spread and crits i could go either way on, but these mechanics in combination with each other just encourage the tryhard playstyle the server claims to be against, which is honestly just blatantly hypocritical, how can you ban people for abusing these mechanics, especially when the servers are run by an engie main, the one class that benefits most from the enemy not being able to stack teammates, or get random crits, paired along with no random spread to be his crutch for the shotgun. kinda just seems like dane was just building a place for him to be able to ban strategies and mechanics that upset his "perfect" engineer playstyle, or that he finds annoying. im not saying its an objectively bad way to play tf2, im just tired of pretending that its an even remotely acceptable alternative to valve casual.
If I had to give a genuine example of what I dislike about UncleTopia it would be class limits because the times they do happen is rare and normally fun, it would also be the players being on the try hardier side of causal but besides that love the server and love the sentry man himself
