Very well said. I always respected that about him too. Him, Warrior and very few others were guys that seemed to always have leverage and part of that was because they put themselves in position to not NEED the wrestling business, which is commendable for them. Such an endlessly fascinating tale of loss. Interesting to listen to the words used in this video, and how some distance themselves, maybe emotionally but more so even physically, while others focused on drugs or just not understanding it. Some talked about personal pain, while others seemed to have a firm grasp on precisely how many people were impacted and a detailed understanding of the ways they were impacted. Tragic story, all around.

Kevin Sullivan, for all of his reputation as a dishonest person according to some in the wrestling business, seems like a decent guy. That whole situation in WCW was tough on him I’m sure. Who knows what really went on behind the scenes. He is a thoughtful person that seems to have cared about his ex as well as her family.

Benoit was a fantastic wrestler, one of the best technicians of all time. But as a human, he was flawed. Like it or not, we ALL have our flaws and shortcomings. His brain and body were significantly damaged, he was on substances that alter the chemistry and thought processes. The anger and depression, along with the other issues at play in his life, led to him committing the unimaginable. He murdered his family, and it seemed like he planned it out on the short term (the Bibles, the note). It wasn’t spur of the moment “snapping”, it was cold blooded and calculated.
Benoit is responsible, not Sullivan or anyone else. It’s groovy to have heroes, but you must remember that our heroes are human, too...

I truly believe that Chris benoit was suffering from some sort of head trauma that led him to possibly hearing voices or being overly paranoid. His journal he was writing in after Eddie died tells a bit about what was going through his head during that time leading up to his family's death. He seriously believed that people in higher places were after him and his family as well as alot of other crazy thoughts and feelings that were going through his head everyday. The amount of concussions he took turned his brain to mush and there is no one who can convince me otherwise. I dont believe chris benoit was a monster who was always capable of doing what he did. I believe all the years of head trauma took their toll on him and he lost his mind.

The story of Benoit is the same as the Dynamite Kid except unlike Dynamite's wife, Nancy didn't know when it was time to give him the one-way ticket. And she just stuck with him until he just completely lost it, if i remember correctly the order of events was Nancy died one day, then Daniel the day after and then finally Benoit himself on the third day.
What i think happened was that he got into a fight with Nancy she threatened to leave him and he went overboard and did her in in a fit of rage, then the day after, he realized that he wouldn't be able to keep Daniel and he'd go to jail for it and so he did the rest on the following two days.

Yeah, he always came across as intense, esp. when he was with the horsemen....I think Nancy threatened to leave him and he snapped....he wasnt going to get screwed in another divorce...then after he killed nancy maybe he panicked and tried to figure out what to do....then he did it. just my opinion, I agree with davey's kid.

The one person Chris could have talked to Johnny grunch. He himself passed away. So yeah Chris was all alone. Nobody to talked with after the death of Eddie Guerrero in 05. I would say steroids and depression played a huge role in all this. Chris Benoit was never a monster. As everybody said he was.

to be honest after hearing tens of testimonies from people who knew and worked with Chris and hearing the police reports and reading the autopsy results i could say confidetly that chis benoit in his clear mind would never do such a thing but people need to remember his mental and physical state not only the bumps he took during his career left him with a brain similar of a 80 years old schizofrenik patient which was mentioned in the autopsy and keep in mind chris was in his 40's and also WWE medical team neglectance of concussions and various health issues and the secret approval of steroids and testosterone from the company and all of that combined would leave the person of no exclamation of what Chris did and i didn't even mention his personal life issues

Nancy's death could be reasonably argued as a crime of passion (he did it in a drunken rage), but daneil's killing was all about the methodical elimination of a witness.
He carefully planned what happened to his son which is proof that he 100% was in full possession of all his mental faculties, and his ultimate decision to hang himself came about because he 100% knew that no jury or judge anywhere in georgia would caee about any affirmative defense he could offer which would've meant a certain death sentence.

Alcohol (even massive amounts of it) only stays in your system for about 24/36 hours, he offed himself almost three days after killing nancy so of course there wouldn't be any in his system.
You seem to think that just because he was steaming drunk on friday evening he would still show signs of it in his system something like 70+ hours later but that's simply not the case.
The human body is extraordinarily efficient at eliminating toxins from itself, by sunday morning he'd have literally pissed the last of it out and by the time he hung himself that sunday night he'd have been clean as a whistle alcohol wise.
