Just 3 weeks of FPV flying? Impressive and Inspiring, you just might have sold me on the Avata!!
Awesome concise tutorial, love the intro, always liked your style.
For a newish pilot, your excellent! ✌🏾
3 weeks! Wow! You got it down. Great info on the ND filter settings. Thanks.
Chad, this is hugely helpful. Thanks so much!
And your Avata footage is remarkable. 💛🙏🏾
Great...now ya got me thinking about getting one again! Nice flying..
Nice flying and editing Chad! Thanks too for the detailed filter explanation. It’s been a bit confusing grasping the entire drone filming/flying thing and this helps a lot!
Thank you so much for this!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Awesome bro you picked up flying manually pretty quick. Looking like a pro 👌🏽great tutorial on filters, frame rate and iso
Thank you
Thank you for sharing
Good video thanks for the tips
Thank for this tips for the camera Bosman! It’s been super useful ❤
You’ve got my like and sub
Thank you
I enjoy your videos 👍🏼 learn a lot. Thank You

Just ordered my filters from them today. Thank you for the information
You're welcome. Thanks

good video thanks for the info bro.
Thank you
Great video Chad!
Thanks
Such a professional.
LOL...thanks
Awesome music and great flying man 😎
I’m kinda feeling about FPV like I did when I first got into drones. I thought that’s cool but I doubt I’d use it that much. Now with the Avata I’m more and more tempted lol
Thanks...I'm glad you liked it.
Great comparison Chad. I should have went with these over the DJI filters. 🤙🏾
Thanks Corey. Yeah freewell filter are usually better than DJI's
Filters come in handy when you have a job and you're trying to set a certain mood. I could see the difference because I use filters. Great comparison as always keep them coming
Thanks Lawrence. I knew you would see the difference.
@@ChadB I have been using ND filters for the last four and a half years. After a while you can tell if somebody's using one or not
You developed an eye for it.
Good footage! i'm getting mine in a month or 2! i'm using the DJI drone simulator! but its very limited unless you purchase the enterprise version. I dont see alot of people using it...but i do want to get liftoff because it seems like it has more trainings and acrobatic tutorials??...
Looks like you have the FPV flying down now!
Thanks, Chad! I wanted to buy a new drone, and I was deciding between the Air 3 and the Mini 4 pro. However, I came across an FPV video, and the AVATA really caught my interest. Mind you, I have had the Mavic Pro 2 in the past, and now fly an Autel Evo Pro 2. I wanted to add a smaller drone to the collection, as well as return to the rock solid DJI family of drones. With that being said, I decided on the AVATA to get that real life piloting feel. I purchased it and waiting delivery. What a NEW EXPERIENCE this should be. 😂😂😂 Thanks again, and safe flying. Peace ✌🏿
You're welcome. Thank you, and enjoy your new drone
@@ChadB You're welcome, bro... I'm looking forward to it, for sure. 💯
Did your feel laggy or bad latency? I tried to use a ND16 on my quad and it felt very laggy. I also don’t have position hold either. So I don’t know if that makes a difference
I also flew with the ND8 it wasn’t as bad as the nd 16
I ordered the polorization filter. Does or can that have enough shading to help with the shutter speed settings and motion blur on relatively high frame rates? I'm thinking like 100 to 50 range. Either way, thanks for the video, and nice flying. 😎
The polarized filter does not darken the image at all. Just reduces the glare.
great. what if you want to take photo, do you need to land and take off the nd filter
You can take a photo with the ND on.
Loved the meta clip at 5:20. How did you do that?
Too much to explain here, but screenrecorded a YT watch page with a blank screen, then rezsized and overlayed my clip. Then applied a few plugins for the zoom and distortion.
nice footage chad i have noticed avata does great job even without nd filters in full sun and a lot of times when i dont have nd filters i will avoid fly directly into sun or choose idea time of day although freewell filters are nice i find their product priced little too high think we pay for name
Thanks...yeah the image straight out of the camera is still good, but really sharp. Some may like that look.
Nice flying for only a few weeks of FPV'n. Try a none DJI 6s FPV drone and feel the freedon and power but missing the security of DJI's RTH
Thanks. Might do that in the future
Reckon you have the best solution with the auto iso. Just wondering why, if recording at 50fps you export the edited file at 25fps? Are you finding that this works better than the usual 24fps?
Yes...Exporting 60fps to 24fps witout slowing it down results in jittery footage because of the odd number of fps. 50fps is exactly double of 25fps. I like the look of 24 or 25fps for my cinematic videos. Makes it look more like a movie.
@@ChadB Yes. Your reasoning makes sense and I, like you, prefer slower frame rates and having to edit at 50 or 60 fps is a new ballgame for me. I too hope that dji will add those lower frame rates but in the meantime I will be trying out your suggestions.
Why not use a cloth when installing the filter? Thanks for the video.
You can...either way, you're still using the cloth.
Did you have any issues with vignetting?
None that I could see..
When I shoot low light, blue hours of the day, these would be pointless, right?
Could be....
Blue Hour may be dark enough where you may not need an ND Filter to get the 180 degree shutter rule. Will just have to test it.
I couldnt tell the difference at all, appointment made with my optician😂
LOL
You, like most drone youtubers, have a fundamental misunderstanding of the bullshit 180 degree shutter rule. The frame rate has no bearing whatsoever on the motion blur. Motion blur is a function of the shutter speed only.
Really? What am I misunderstanding...please explain.
@@ChadB In other words, using 1/50sec shutter speed at 50fps will give a better result than 1/100 at 50fps.
I would think that would be too slow of a shutter speed. But still don't see how I'm misunderstanding the concept.

Nice video Chad! I'm definitely loving my Freewell filters for my Avata. Definitely improves the footage I've taken also 👍
Thanks Jake
