All spot on points. What excites me about Cifuentes is his philosophy which seems to be possession based and attacking, and when we don't have the ball it's about winning the ball high up the pitch, whereas with Ainseworth he got what's clearly an attacking team and made them ultra defensive, made them park the bus defending for their lives with about 20% possession in every game. Our team was just not used to playing that way, dropping Willock, not giving Dixon-Bonner a chance, playing Chair out of position, and just hoofing aimless balls to Dykes and Armstrong who just looked so frustrated more often than not. Whatever Ainseworth was telling them in training they just weren't having it, so with that being said this Sat for Cifuentes' home debut things can't get any worse so I'm confident the players will have a spring in their step and we'll see a different performance
Whatever the initial results with Cifuentes there is no miracle cure and our expectations have to be realistic .Progress comes with teamwork,strategy and lots and lots of hard work.Patience is a virtue.The players didn't buy in to Ainsworth style.He will be successful somewhere else and the best of luck to him.
Interesting to know whether during the recent reunion people like Kevin Gallen discussed GA's playing style with him behind the scenes.
Of course they didn't and wouldn't be dis respectful to a former teammate ... GA was manager and what was happening or style or how they feel of course they wouldn't

watching qpr under ainsworth has been some of the worst football i ever witnessed, really depressing aswell, so glad he is gone

You can't expect MC to perform miracles. I still can't see us staying up. Of course I want us to but I think that the damage has already been done. If he was in the running along with the snake, why didn't they go with him. Has experience. If we go down then he should be given the chance to bring us back up. I have a good feeling about Marti. Kevin Gallen spot, look at what the squad work out the best way they play football if you have 6ft 5 players all over the pitch fine lump it we don't and the difference in a week was huge.

I know where people are coming from but how anyone can predict a win beyond me, even last week in good position they couldn't get it done and at home we all know wins are non existent
