Until now, all of my videos have been entirely filmed and edited by my brother. Unfortunately, he fell ill and was unable to handle filming or editing for quite some time. For me, entrusting the video production to anyone else was never an option, which resulted in keeping you all waiting for such a long time. I am truly sorry for this. Thankfully, my brother has now fully recovered, and we were able to create this video together once again. I would be so grateful if you could continue to support us in the future. There are many shoe making videos out there, but yours are truly special. Almost as if they're about so much more than just making a fine pair of shoes. If possible, if it's not much more work, could you make them a bit longer with more details? I'm trying to learn to make shoes - starting very basic with glues and things - but someday I'd like to be this good. The flattening of stitches and edges with the hammer is something I can incorporate now, even if I'm not using nails. Yes, handmade is more expensive, but look at the investment of the artisan that makes your janky feet look so good.

For this particular pair, it took about 80 hours, depending on where you start counting from. As for my training, I’ve learned from master craftsmen whom I deeply respect, and I’ve also spent a lot of time experimenting and learning on my own. 手作業なのに物凄く均等にして均一。
ヒールを作る作業とか、履いてしまえば傷がつくソールの作り具合とか、全ての工程がありきたりな言葉だけど美しい。そして無駄がなく洗練されている。
