    Love my Powered Head. Due to several factors such as finance and lack of accessibility with Rig Manager, I, as a blind musician haven't been able to use Kemper products until recently when I discovered that someone wrote accessibility scripts for rig Manager to work with my screen reader. I'm hoping that Kemper and other companies will consider blind and disabled musicians in future, but for now, loving the tones I'm getting from the Powered Head and Kemper nonpowered kabinet. Have you found an easier way to transport the head?

    Hello, is there a difference between Kemperstage and head-type rack type and sound?

    I actually did the opposite. I bought Stage and put the Toaster Powered in sale. I was totally happy with my powered toaster with remote, however to carry all the units was kind of too much weight. Then i decided to try first Stage. Bought, programmed and first gig. That was it! Stage+ Headrush FRFR monitor and guitar did my day. Not so much cabling and lightning fast boot up time, i agree with you. I don't think, i will go back to use my powered head. But i missed Noise Gate Knob a lot. In stage, in last gig that gave me hard time since it was hided in Input menu, i had to check forums on stage! Thanks for the comparison by the way love it!

    I've had a toaster since about 2012, Recently this year I finally bought the remote to go with it. Been using it live for year. This summer took it to a gig and our rack took a nice power surge and it shut down my kemper for the rest of the night. It has since turned back on but i decided to move to the kemper stage and this has been much better. My Toaster has since been moved permanently in to my studio for recording. its been nice not having to pack it back up in the bag.

    Hi, I have a toaster non powered head and I love it, for recording it’s awesome and if I get a powered speaker it will be great 🎸

    Has the Stage has a stereo monitor out with the option to disable the cab sim?
    My Rack Profiler has mono.
    I am an old guitarplayer with vintage volume! 🙂
    I use 2 Marshall stacks in stereo. So I would like to have a stereo monitor out instead of the mono.
    Thanks in advance, Berthus

      Hey there! Yeah you can disable the cabinet for the monitor outs. But the Stage does not have the option for the power amp like your rack might

      Daniel. Dont need to. I wanna use the returns from my Marshall amps. So I use them as poweramps.
      The main thing is that I profiled my amps and use the Kemper Rack in the studio in stereo.
      But for the feel I still like the stacks behind me als in stereo.
      If that works than I wiil buy also the Stage for the gigs.
      One other thing I am worried about the Kemper is on the floor in front of the audience. (With all the sweat, beers and tomato's).
      Have to find a way to protect it.
      Daniel. Thanks for the info!

    since we're going to go the in-ear route for live gigs, I'm getting myself a Kemper Stage (now need to lug my SKB case with Kemper powerrack+Relay G90 wireless unit, my cabinet and pedalboard with the remote in it along for every gig. We still use cabinets for now, because sometimes the monitors provided are just crap. So I'd just need 1 pedalboard with the Stage and i'm all set :-D

    My first digital gig is in 3 weeks (although HX, not Kemper). Going with just an 8" wedge, no cabinet. I like the portability. The times they are a changin'.

    Do you think the Powered Head with a guitar cabinet sounds better than the Stage with the Kemper Kab? I tried the Kemper Kab with the stage and didn’t like it very much but I’m wondering if the powered head might sound better.

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  3 роки тому +1

      Personally, it took me getting the Powered Kemper Kabinet with my stage to realize I really wanted a Powered Head and guitar cabinet. Especially with using things like direct profiles, its simply a more realistic sound.

    • @aaronshortmusic
      @aaronshortmusic 3 роки тому +1

      @@DanMmusic So you create a direct profile and then it sounds close to the turn amp through the same cab? What do you use for a load box and do you refine your profiles?

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  3 роки тому

      @@aaronshortmusic I always refine profiles as much as I can. I use a Universal Audio Ox to make the direct profiles and it sounds as close to the real thing as a digital amp can get. It misses a bit of the dynamic, but I've played several shows with a cabinet firing and the Kemper main out going to the house and its sounded and felt great.

    Is the stage boot time faster because it’s got less profiles on it, or because of the hardware. I know that the more profiles, the slower the boot. I ask because I’m thinking about getting a Kemper again and my past experience is Toaster.

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  2 роки тому

      Boot time is definitely because of the hardware. I did a full reset when I got the head, and it was very slow to start still

    Just got the stage I’m not loving it yet . I’m missing the chorus effects that I am used to from the FM3 I been on this thing for over a week now . Do you have a clean direct profile of an Ampeg SVT classic?

      have you checked out the new double tracker? Try chorus-> double tracker. Crazy sounds. I don't have a clean direct of an SVT, sorry
