all that snipping into the figure is giving me heart palpitations. But I guess having the comfort of knowing you can sculpt it back, makes that part easier. Great vid, makes me wanna start more conversions.
I really want to take this idea but convert it into 40k an have a boss nob who is just such a chad (or idiot) that he refuses to wear armor despite being up against the weapons of the grimdark far future. I also think it’d be funny for an unarmored ork to tank bolters and rockets etc.
Woo! Yeah boys take it off! "Smith" is the best looking one in my opinion. Very different from the others, and the mask is really creepy-looking, but still orc-ish.
Tempted to write a short story about these three knuckleheads, with the smith and the crazed one squabbling over everything. The tetsubo one is the most sensible, for an orc, taking on a leader role and ensuring the smith doesn't kill the crazed one because he broke something the smith wanted to salvage.
Great work as always. I too saw that converted Warboss / Ogroid and wanted to make something similar, so it was great to see what you came up with. Just wondering what you used to fill in the tribal marks on the ogroid?
Nice work as usual, chief. I do have to disagree, though. That serrated blade looked like the most orkish sword out there. Maybe from a feral WAAAAGH, true. But orkish all the same.
Probably two slightly different words for the same concept, one is iron-staff/rod while the kanji for kana stands for metal- in this instance. Then again, kanabou can apparently also mean crowbar, so there might be some further nuance of use to native Japanese speakers.
I had the same journey right when I started converting, but made him for 40k! Here's an old poorly lit photo of what I came up with: instagram.com/p/BowyHbrHzbQ/
really should collab with a model painting channel and have them paint all your conversions
Lets go baby
🖤🖤
The Orruk Warsmith is the best IMO, feels like they have much more of a story behind them, would even fit as some sort of homebrew unique hero
i agree the Smith and his story are totally epic and the best of the 3 IMO
that hepstus one looks awesome! would love to paint that and even convert a few like of my own, ork black smiths sound awesome
2:52 he got a bakery back there

A warboss Smith is certainly a unique idea and I think I like it.
The Smith orc is definitely my favorite, so much character!
The warsmith is such a cool idea, definitely my favorite of the bunch!
The hephaestus based one has something really special to it!! id love to paint it in a moody, darker way
I feel like you have bought so many of the Orruk warboss kits at this points ^^
Cool ideas! Good to see a selection of the same concept of a model
The last one is insanely cool, well done
I love these conversions and the videos are formatted really we thank you
Love how feral the one with the helmet looks! great stuff!
Love the Warsmith Warboss. Great idea with the bundle of weapons on his back.
The smith guy looks particularly good
Definetly the last one. Love the story it tells.
The War Smith is definitely my favorite. Something so orcish and brutal about a giant hammer.
2:13 when your creations are so glorious and scary that even your own voice cracks
They turned out amazing (the last one is my favourite) keep the great work
Oh no, I might need to make my own version of Boss Heph, that concept is way too cool, and I don't even play orks
I really like the Hephaestus one a really cool concept
Maybe you could make an conversion were you keep the hair by sculpting on an mutated hairsquig.
I was very impressed with Whaphaestus
Hulk-orcs

Isn't the Japanese weapon called a kanabo ?
