How to convert - Bloodaxe Warboss by Mezgike

- Oi, here's the video of how I converted and kitbashed a bloodaxe warboss, from the age of sigmar orruk megaboss. Learn my tricks (and mistakes) on kitbashing, sculpting and more.
Safety warning: Literal blood went into this bloodaxe miniature, because I accidentally cut my finger. Always cut safely when using knives and scalpels, and always cut away from your fingers. I often need to live life on the edge and cut in an unsafe way, so that you guys can see what I am doing. I normally cut downwards on the workbench, but you wouldn't be able to see what I am doing. So be safe. Video contains blood and gore, so MA15+ and all that.

Thanks :-) I didn't want to dump all the content at once, but trickle it out while I create new content. That will bridge the gap and there won't be a massive wait for the new stuff. Working on a very special one for the next video, it's a secret who this character is, but he is very mean.

So I´ve been getting a ton of Warhammer related videos in my recommended section and I have no idea why...long story short, I just spent 600 € on Models, paints etc. and I´m setting up the hobby corner again right now after 10 years of no hobbying...

I don't suggest using baking powder, since it does not react well to humidity. I do suggest using a fine sand.
Otherwise great video! You are inspiring me to be more creative with my own models!

Very important channel. Why ? because GW themselves don't do any / many Blood Axe painting guides or conversion guides. I'm getting into Blood Bowl and not only do they not sell some of their star players, for some in their latest edition they've never even had a miniature released for them. Conversion skills are so important.
Dave Dogge conversions are important as well, because you make your own unique miniature that doesn’t exist anywhere else.
I was thinking "Why you want his armor to be smooth looking, instead of big, loud and clanky like proper ork's?" Then it hit me. Blood Axes. They ain't always like traditional "propa orky". Warboss with a mic and in armor that looks like it's not from dented, battered and looted. Yep, definitely brewing some Taktiks there!
Fun and entertaining video to watch too. I just recently got into Warhammer 40k, went with orks, only to later on realise that there aren't proper updated warboss models (excluding Ghazkull) and the megaboss seems to be popular conversion guide. Might as well try and make my own 40k spin on the big orruk sooner or later. Conversion and kitbashes is what ork players oughta be doing anyways, right?

I'm late to the party, but this exact miniature is what I would love to convert into a world of warcraft tier 13 heroic warrior armor model. If anything the helmet to add to the base model would look amazing. I need to watch more customizing videos like these to get an idea of how to accomplish this.

Aren't you worried the baking powder might have a chemical reaction when exposed to certain conditions, such as high humidity? I've seen (not personally) weird things happen!
