    Hi James another good enjoyable video. Hard day but it was a new venue so it was a learning day. Pity about the lost fish. Tight lines

    Well done James it looked like a hard day at the office.
    Now I don’t match fish but it must be nice to try different venues
    I personally prefer more mixed fisheries rather than carp filled venues but it does keep you busy
    I do like your videos and thanks for explaining the rigs and tactics
    Keep it going many thanks

    That screamed waggler to me chap!
    But a demonstration to all, that if you don’t get all your ducks in a row at the very START of the day, it can have serious repercussions for the rest of it!
    We’ve all had days like that before however, next time you’ll know!! 👍😎

    Another great place to fish,
    I like canal/ snake lake style places,
    Perhaps you was slightly outgunned with only 7lb to 5lb ,
    With the size of the fish in there you will lose a few,
    When will we have a summer this year.🤣
    Cant win them all james,👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    • @jamesatkinsfishing
      @jamesatkinsfishing  16 днів тому +1

      No your right i'm not good enough to win them all, and yes that was another snake lake, everyone struggled a bit except one, he had 120lb but he is a top angler, Thank you for commenting mate,

    Another lovely video, well filmed, well done. I caught a 23Lb mirror on a pole! This was my most frightening angling experience ever! My elbow hurt me for 6 months.

    The "unlucky number 4" by the sounds of it, first in breaks then it escapes. Nicely fixed. Hard fighting fish, great fun.

    Nice video James, thanks for sharing. Great venue by the looks of it. What was the main reason for losing so many? Very frustrating! Better luck next time. 🤗

    Them matrix poles let you down a few times now haven’t they, remember when you snapped your mtx1 which meant to be proper carp pole

    • @jamesatkinsfishing
      @jamesatkinsfishing  15 днів тому +1

      yes when i broke my power 1 it was my fault my hands wee to close together, and when i broke my mtx3v2, it was my fault again, i put it in the roller to soon and the carp ran to the left and it broke in my hand, i am now being more careful, Thank you for commenting,

    • @Jbirdoffcialmusic
      @Jbirdoffcialmusic 15 днів тому +1

      They shouldn’t break like that though mate, I know you have balanced tackle etc aswell so lines, hook lengths should break before poles takes a lot for a fish to break a pole, don’t trust them at all matrix poles, could rag my x50 about treat it like crap never gave up on me
      Got the carp superium now
      Just feel bad for you cause they shouldn’t break like they do it’s not just you I heard a lot about matrix poles breaking
      Anyway Lee up great work mate

    James you done mega.. peg8 carpark side ?? no one helping and you had it sussed by the end.. not the best draw mate aweful lol we had sections each side last year.. paste pot full of 6s tight on the far bank shelf..some swims the shelfs wider than others but always get on it and mark it on your pole.. little overdepth bottom of the body bigger fish 6 or 8 on the hook thats all I do whatever peg I draw always start there feed after every sign or fish paste cat meat down the middle corn has its day sometimes always worth a margin look last half hour or however depending on the day .. just wait till you draw the other side easy 50 lb in an an hour 80 lb in three hours when they turn up hold on tight good days to come.. my favourite place the longest time.. goodluck
