Cracking video and content JC! Really appreciate the importance of float in the choppy water. Tried something similar on my local res using 6mm F1 meat recently, had a great day catching 2-7lb bream with the odd carp. Well done Joe 👏👏👏
Going to try this tomorrow! Thanks for the tips. At the moment i dont chuck a single hard pellet in the margins so very interested to see how i get on!
I use a hair rigged bait band but hooking the band onto the hook works very well too. I just find it a faff when the band is blown up the line whenever I've tried it.
@NuFish brilliant, thanks for the reply. I did tie a hair rigged one for the same reason, I jus had to big hook on 1st but wen I changed that to a smaller one, I landed more fish. All the best, tight lines. 🎣✌️😉🎣
Thanks, no I’m fortunate to have both. I really like the extra security of the Carp when fishing these bagging carp waters. It’s a great pole (as the X70 is too)
Never ever fished with pellets (before my time, I live in the US now.) so on my local pond I use bread punch with liquidized bread in the margins, they won't come in that close as in this video though, kinda crazy how you catch 'em so close. And what elastic do you use? The carp I catch are wild fish and with the big ones you need to add all the sections (16m) and they bottom out black hydro in a second! Grey or white Hydro and they take you on a tour of the lake, no matter how softly I strike or how low I keep the pole, any tips? Love those Wrath floats, mine have done battle with biggish catfish, been towed by double figure carp through some savage snags and lived to tell the tale. The only thing I hate about NuFish floats...every time I go to order more online all the .4's and 4x14's are sold out, and I've never managed to find either the Collet, the Clunk or the Bulk, in any size. You need to sort that out mate, ex-pats need floats too! Thanks from across the 'pond'
I can imagine those wild carp over there fight like crazy! Have you tried something like the Pink ZIPP? sometimes something softer just lets them continue getting momentum until eventually it bottoms out and you lose the fish. The stronger elastic can slow them down much quicker and give you a better chance.
@@NuFish Next time I buy some tackle I'll order some Pink ZIPP. I use the 4-6 and the 5-8 for Perch already. I really like the Nufish floats, quality except I only get sent orange never yellow. Thanks mate
Brilliant little tutorial simple and effective thanks for sharing Joe
Very welcome
Top kit plus one can’t beat it. Pellets 😳. Are you feeling ok ? Tight lines 🎣. All the best Pete
ha ha hopefully now the weather has improved we can get on with the paste fishing!
So many useful tips in all these little video's. Great Joe. Cheers

Hope so!
Going to try this at Rushton and Grundys Joe, think this will be a killer. Thanks for the tips again.
It will work at Rushton especially later in the afternoon
@@NuFish good shout.
Going to try this tomorrow! Thanks for the tips. At the moment i dont chuck a single hard pellet in the margins so very interested to see how i get on!
Good luck
Can i ask what is prefered, bait band straight on the hook or a hair rigged bait band? Many thanks joe and nu fish... great vid. Tight line's 🎣✌️😉🎣

Hi joe…love the video…..have you changed your pole to a superium carp.? You owned a superium 70 before. Regards.
Thanks, no I’m fortunate to have both. I really like the extra security of the Carp when fishing these bagging carp waters. It’s a great pole (as the X70 is too)
Lovely Video Thanks.
Thank you too!

Great tips. Going to try this next time I’m out.
Please do!
Another Cracking Vid, keep them coming, what hook length strength are you using with your size 14 Hook Cheers
0.20mm 👍🏻
@@NuFish many thanks
How come you used a 6” hook length Joe was there a particular reason?
I just prefer them for big carp
@@NuFish cheers Joe 👌🎣
So, do you mean 0.22 main line straight through? Why do you decide to not use a slightly weaker Hooklength?
I use 0.20mm to 0.20mm hooklength. the shorter length of 0.20mm plus a knot will always go before the mainline (less stretch)
@@NuFish thanks Joe, really appreciate you taking the time to answer questions.
Ill try this Joe minimum amount of bait going in less liners perfect cheers
It works a treat
help me out please .....are you fishing on the bottom or a few inches off etc .
newbie......all comments appreciated
subbed and liked
About one or two inches on the bottom 👍🏻
I’ve caught so much on 4/6mm expanders and micros. I need to get more confidence in fishing hard pellets.
Micros and expanders are great on their day 👍🏻
Done right easy fishing
Yes it was. Easy and effective
Nice video Joe you won at Barby banks and beat the paste guys lol
😂
go on Joe 8m pellets are killer at glebe on pole but no one really does it i love doing it short top kit and 1
Couldn’t believe how good it was in the edge.
@@NuFish i do it on top kit and 1 in front of me can be megga on right day last year on pool 1 its was awesome love 8m pellets
@@NuFish can not wait to be doing this again Joe in the sun bloody ice haha
Proper Halibut pellets 8 mm on a (Stonfo) pellet band gizmo(Quality).Very little feed maybe a little bit of Krill on 8mms.Hold on tight 👍🦉
Good stuff
well done Joe that is a very good way to catch big fish with very little bait, Thank you for that,
Thanks for watching!
@@NuFish no problem Joe
How did you enjoy your day at How End fishery’s ?
It was excellent looking forward to going back
Pellets not paste! Is Joe ok?
Slowly getting better from this slight hiccup
Great vid Joe-have been using the kamasan feeder hooks on the tip-after your recommendation they seem to be great all round hooks -cheers
Like #400! Nailed it like a munter!
:)
I couldn't throw just two pellets in Joe 😂, i find it really difficult to feed so lightly .
Nice cheap way of fishing .
It’s a struggle for me! Effective though
Cannot see the fun in fishing these venues, like putting your line in a goldfish bowl
Where do you fish?
Don’t go, then. No-one’s forcing you.
