Mitch’s video editing is outstanding. I caught a yellow-tagged walleye in April on the Menominee River and reported it online to the WI DNR. They responded within 1 week with details for the fish, which I was impressed and thankful. Don’t be a hater on the men and women doing their job to protect our fisheries, with limited funding from the state legislature.
I grew up on the Menominee near the dam. About 30 years ago I caught 3 walleyes the same day that all had the yellow spaghetti tags in their back from WIDNR. When I sent them in they responded saying all 3 of those fish had been tagged together, 61 days earlier in the Fox River at the DePere Dam. Dang those fish get around.! So much for people saying they eat walleye but not out of the FoX….lol
Excellent conditions, nothing better, then, catching, good fish, In Wisconsin and all the northern fisheries, thanks for all your priceless tips, Dark days, Dark presentation, 😊
Mitch produces some awesome quality, editing, and companionship and perspective. Tom alone, is decent quality, cut dry straight to the point and killing time. Nothing beats the first option imo. Keep it up mitch.
Hello Tom awesome vids learned a lot from them I really appreciate it, was wondering if you ever fished Lac Courte Oreilles lake I'm gonna try it for walleye, Any pointers where I should start or what type of structure to look for this time of year, Thank you sir.
Every year I go up to Kaiashkon Lake in Ontario for the Walleye opener. We fish out of small alumacraft jon boats with no tech. Usually the strategy is troll to find them, but we struggle with jigging especially when there's choppy water, the boats really get pushed around and move off point. I ended up hooking a 30-inch tank and a handful of 24-27 inch Walleye's but was still a few short of the limit. I need to figure out a better way to jig so we can really focus on the smaller fish. Probably going to rig a portable anchor since they're usually in the same relative place every time.
Hi Tom and Mitch,,,,, you guys are amazing. You give great information . I was wondering where you got your extension handle for the top of your Mega Live shaft? You guys have a great day!!!!
Always great content Tom… Just curious would this technique work in stained water or muddy water and how fast does the boat go with that 175 on te back
Hey Tom what would you suggest doing for an approach when you find a school of wallleyes on the edge of a big flat that the boat spooks the fish if too close or if you sit 30 feet from them or so and pitch a jig at them they also spooked. Tried a slip bobber with a leech and that also spooks them. Casted a little ways past them and drug toward them and they just weren’t interested at what I had to give them. Move on or keep throwing the tackle box at them? Lol
I personally like tripod filmed with mitch or shelby fishing with Tom on camera! Mitch can always grab a camera and do the editing! Keep up the good twerk!
You should have a drawing and the winner get you to come to their lake and fish with them, a woodworking guy does that on his channel, it’s a lot of fun
Hello Tom and Mitch, thank you for all of the work you're both doing. I am a Walleye Now subscriber and am having some glitches. When logging in, it says I have no subscription and then it lets me in when I go in a second time. Also, I'm old, and was trying to use my Apple TV to watch your content on the television. It will not work. I just get the screen with the computer shape in it. (Everything else seems to work just fine) Finally, I've asked Acme a couple of times. No answer. Where is the new Kalins net made? Thanks.
Personally I don't care which format you use, I am just trying to learn how to catch walleyes :) A few extra minutes showing rigging in detail would be helpful.. you usually rip thru your set up in 20 seconds, fine for those who know, but not as easy for those of us new to this type of fishing.. maybe even a "top 5 walleye rods/ set ups for newbies" ???
I’ve caught more walleye on plastics this year than ever before in my life. I’ve bought minnows once this season and ended up using plastics and outfishing live bait by a mile
I have a lake system that I’d love to have you try, some have success and some (like me) not so much! Whitefish Chain just north of Brainerd,MN. It’s a chain of 13 lakes or so, it’s a river system, has bigger water and very small water! It will challenge you and your patience guaranteed! It has so much of what you describe on your typical lakes, but it’s a huge challenge!!
But in some views it also looks like garrison with the water tower in the background . Just sayin I’ve fished the lake for 34 years. So definitely seems like your in the all park ehh
These are apex graphs. Which I mainly got so I could screen record. They are spendy but they do have a crystal clear display . However the Helix series has plenty of power to get the job done.
Unfortunate the response you received from game and fish in Wisconsin. I am blessed with the ND game and fish, think it took three days when reporting tagged fish. Saw a few Sconny trucks in town fishing the prairie sloughs, the shrimp bite is on.
I got a Solix and I don't think I could justify buying Mega Live based on the footage you have using it. Nowhere near the clarity of the lvs34. I can see how it's better than nothing but I hope Humminbird has something coming down the line to beat up on what Lowrance and Garmin are doing.
@@56igadget oh? Can you track your bait? Can you see the position of the fish? Mega Live is a hair better than Panoptix, which is the first of Garmin's third generation FFS.

Mitch your hardwork producing and editing is appreciated.. it really takes the videos to the next level. Awesome job.
Appreciate Mitch for helping and updating the app. Had that issue last week!! It’s all working again.
Hands down the best walleye/fishing informative perfectly edited content on the internet and it’s not even close

Next video : i pretty sure you have a bunch of bloopers with all these years of filming, that can be fun to watch

You guys and your side conversations were cracking me up in this video! 😂 oh man that was great, like always!! 👍🏼
Wouldn't be fishing without making fun of your fishing buddy
@@TomBoley I couldn’t agree more! 😂
great video and great fishing!! hi tom and mitchell.!! have a good day and week. enjoy listening and watching you both!!
Wow, first time watching your video on how to jig walleye really effectively, thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching
What a day, totally jealous. Nice work.
Yet another awesome video bro love the content and the channel and the APP is amazing loaded with great information keep slaying em man 🎣🎣🎣

Good point - it’s easier to catch walleye on good walleye lakes.
The Hummingbird mega live was looking clear- really easy to make out all the details of what your seeing! Did you modify any of your settings?
Great job fellas!
Haha love Mitchells music and editing in this one. Plus your “Skitter Skatter”???? Lmao
Love the show very informative.What
Is your all around favorite color for moonshiner Meadow?

Great video, question is how you get your mega live so clear looking. I've tried multi things on mine and seem to not get it right.
Saw u at Chippewa this Friday 🤘

Hey, your videos are awesome. I’m learning a lot, but I’d like to see more of a close-up view of your side scan views if you could.
Go to Lake Erie! I want to see what you can do there.

You should make a video talking about the setting you use for side imaging and live. I am sure you have but an up-to-date version would be nice.

What is the 2B slip bobber rod called?

Hi Tom, do you do much tournament fishing? How much do you fish Winnebago?
Never done any tournament fishing. Winnebago is on the list this year
Darn right Wisconsin fisherman consistently out fish those tools from Minnesota who only know the Lindy rig with live bait method for fishing. 🤣
You guys making your Mille lacs trip soon? She’s on fire again this year
Might have gone to mille lacs on this day ..

I run both Helix and solix love the touch screen on solix
Oh okay, it works something like the solex. I have a helix and a solex. And also you can customize the screens on the solex. Tas.
Time for more river rig action
We can’t afford Elliot rods Tom

Does Mitchell have covid you keep covering your mouth haha
MITCHELL ! GO BEARS !!!!
Using meat might get a couple more bites on tough days but the quality of bites on plastics makes meat not worth the mess.

Electronics makes fishing so much easier anybody can do it.
So easy... Just literally show up to the lake and they jump in the boat.
@@TomBoley might as well with all the electronics. They might just make one that makes the fish jump in the boat.
At least raise Mitchell's pay to the minimum wage.
