Asking what I would like to see: How to enlarge arms in shirts and jackets. I am a weight lifter and can't get any jeans jacket to fit my arms, so I have to enlarge them. And a good basic blazer pattern would be awesome as well. How to cut in pockets, shoulders, and how to change lapel size.
Hello There: When you are making a jean jacket or suit jacket, you would not cut the sleeve until later. This way you can fit the jacket on the person and then measure for the sleeve and armhole. Here is a great example: If the person wears a 42 suit, you may have to cut the armhole and the sleeves for a 46 or 48 to fit their arms. This is done a lot for body builders, because they cannot fit regular clothing. You would need to make two patterns one for the 42 and the other for the 46 or 48. Then you would use that armhole and sleeve for the 42 jacket. If this make since to you, give me a thumbs up. I hope this was helpful. EWS
