hi, do you put in a gear or not when you change the front sprocket? or do you have the gear in neutral and just press your foot down on the rear brake?
I have a 2018 Freeride E-XC (newest model) with 11-48 kit. I am trying to change de 11t sprocket to a 12t but the rear wheel spins when I try to loose the sprocket bolt... any idea if the Freeride E has a different way of getting the sprocket out or anything I’m missing?

is it ok to do this without a torque spanner? Not sure that I will be able to gauge how tight 16Nm is but I have all the other tooling.

44 foot lbs on an English torque wrench. Cheap as hell at Harbor Freight. Speaking of English, I don't gear down a bike if I'm just riding around bushes, tight woods however. Just messin, I love my Downunda Brothers. Cheers mate.

Same here. I turned on captions and it didn't pick it up either. I'm fairly certain that it shouldn't be in gear. Neutraland rear break.
He said “ I don’t like to do it in gear it can damage the gear box internally”

If you're about to change front sprocket on your big KTM adventure bike, the torque on those bikes are 100NM.
Appreciate it, but 16 or 60 Nm. Few times need to slow down in explain a little bit clearer.
I watched this just to get this torque setting and no matter how many listens I have no idea what was said here.
Same…I came to check setting and couldn’t understand….but I’m guessing he said 60
Please, for anyone changing this, the engine sprocket torque is 60, NOT 16. It is in the manual, and I highly recommend not going for 16 with engine sprocket :))
