I do prefer to change chain and sprockets together. Pitch changes on chain and sprocket as they wear. So, new on old won’t match up properly and wear even faster.
Great video. I'll probably need to use Jay's techniques soon as I'm still running the stock chain.

Good stuff , appreciate the videos. Question on chains. I have a brand new in package DID ERT2 gold chain - has been on shelf for 4 years . May be a dumb Q but assume it is good to run? Thanks again

He's a beast! Breakin the sprocket bolt loose with the T handle.
He’s not breaking them loose with a t handle. He’s breaking them loose from the nut with a wrench. If you trying breaking the bolt loose theres a good chance you’ll strip the head
Great video but the lighting in the cinema type recording was way too dark IMO.
Can’t you just buy a new chain that’s the correct size without grinding?
Is it just me or is this video really dark? Maybe its just me.
Kinda annoying. There's a specialty tool for everything. Keep it simple. Some folks don't have the budget to buy every convenient tool.
