Love it bro, sadly I’m going to miss my accord, decided to go for a swim last night in the floods over in Australia. Thanks for being one of the inspirations for me to get my accord bro
The more I see of this beast of a CL9 the more I think that if anything ever happened to my Integra project I’d probably take inspiration from the Kiwi and get onto the Accord Euro R. Your videos have really impressed me and totally changed my perception of the loveable Accord.
Thanks for the DIY tutorial. Its a big relief seeing such useful things which we can do at home. After 18 years with my cl9 i was getting pissed off at the saggy bumper. This will definately help. Thanks again. 👍🏾👍🏾
That's funny, today I woke up and decided to fix it in my CL9, I had imagined by myself how to repair that issue in the same way, after that I turned on the PC and watched the video
Simple and brilliant! Thanks for the tip! Mine does this and I’m taking her apart this weekend to put some new headlight bulbs in. I’ll find some wood blocks! Cheers
bit stupid to ask but what would u recommend i get from some store instead of a piece of wood like what u got coz i cant really find a nice bit of wood like how u got
Nice one =) Bunnings have H shaped wedges in diff heights, you could bolt them to the chassis there =) or glue em. be astheticly nice too for the mechanic pulling the bumper off in the future haha
I have a 2007 BMW M6 with a wide body the front bumper began to sag after I drove 500 miles on the the highway what can I do to stop the sagging will it be similar to this?
You've had the K-flash for a wee while now, would you feel like giving us an update video letting us know if you still like it, what you would change if you got it done again, how the fuel economy is with it and anything else that comes to mind.
@@KiwiCarLifeThank you for the answer. This is issue with all Honda Accord. Yours is amazing! I’m waiting the day to bay 2.4 type S, and i’m done with changing cars! At the moment i must be happy with my,2.2 ictdi 140 hp😊
I'd personally be inclined to use plastic packaging wedges that builders use for door and window installations. They won't be affected by moisture/water like timber will and they have the half life of a star. On another note certain things are better when they get saggy 😉
I am having a problem with my 2007 Cl9 Honda Accord the D light is blinking on the dashboard board while am driving at times the issue don’t occur but most times it does what should I do?

Dang that sucks man! Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you guys are doing alright over there!
Hopefully you're insured and can get another one and carry on with the Accord build. Good luck.
@@Kickn_NZ thanks bro, that’ll be the goal to find another good manual accord

Yeah man the Euro R is just glorious
@@KiwiCarLife gotta experience one some day
WHAT! I thought there were clips under the bumper to remove it 🤦♂️ you made it look easy thanks for this.

No prob!
only got my accord recently and it came with heaps of bumper sag and this is an absolute LIFESAVER
Good to hear!
Haha I’ve just balled up a bunch of duct tape and placed it exactly where you did 😂 great trick you got there
That works!
you’re a legend mate. always making awesome straight to the point tutorials. You have wasn’t my Sub +1 👍👍
Thanks man!
Thank you for showing us how to remove the bumper.
Haha all good
Love the videos. You're part of the reason I'm picking up an Accord Euro Type S later on :D
Nice man! You'll love it
@@KiwiCarLife Unlike yours mine has the K20z2. Absolute weapon compared to my last car 😄

Nice! Glad I could help
This does work lads. I used some clothespins instead it it doesn’t sag anymore. Thanks again Kiwi!
You always make videos about the exact issues or interests I have😅👏
That's good!
Man thank you so much for making this video I'll definitely be availing of these tips
All good!
I love the idea to fix this issue. I'm going to use some kind of plastic to take up the space on mine. Thanks for the information!
Yeah plastic would be better tbh
Im from pakiatan bro
really appreciate your work keep it up
Thanks man
You're making her slower though with extra weight!!😂 Looks good man!
OH NO!
Thanks, I did and it turned out great
Good to hear!
sorry about the many questions but 😂 would u say it’s ok to turbocharge or supercharge a auto trans CL9?
Probably not, you'd get more gains from manual swapping it than from turboing an auto anyway coz you'd only be able to run low boost
Have you noticed more front end grip with all that weight over the nose now?
HAH
😂
bit stupid to ask but what would u recommend i get from some store instead of a piece of wood like what u got coz i cant really find a nice bit of wood like how u got
@@saabiq1441 yeah maybe just get some from the store
I have the same issues.. it works but I think the bash bar with the phone will help a lot. I still haven't done that yet but soon once I order it
Sounds good
Thanks for the tips, practical, simple and achievable.
All good!

Yeah that's true!
which H shaped wedges are you talking about? trying to look in bunnings

Sensational👌. Thanks for the tip man.
All goods
I used some poliester for my cl7 and my cl9, works great 🤣
Nice!
Loved it mate. Thanks for sharing this great info.
Thanks man!
But wait, that piece of wood you just put there, you don’t attach after with something upright?
Nah

Do you know how to fix the slack on the sides of the bumper? Line near the light
I don't

I am having a problem with my 2007 Cl9 Honda Accord the D light is blinking on the dashboard board while am driving at times the issue don’t occur but most times it does what should I do?
Means there's an issue with your transmission. A fault code will show up if you scan it
Give that Honda, she deserves me!😅
Good strong car
hey bro, from stock to where ur car is now, how much hp have u gained from these modifications and reflash tune,
25kW and 45Nm
I would love to show you my bumper, it's in complete shambles but I will attempt this fix and return with hopefully a more joyous comment 🙂
Haha good luck man
I think you should do car meet ups and other things different.
Could do!
Good ideas man
Cheers
Your accord looks exactly sama as American version Acura TSX
WOW does it really? Maybe because it’s actually the same car haha
Thanks mate
All good
Lovely 😎
Cheers
Just bend the brackets back up. Cars dont come factory with wood holding the brackets up !!
Tried, it doesn't work as well as the wood
It's a quick fix, but turnbuckles are permanent solution, will not sag from corner :)
Can you elaborate on how to do this?
@@nicholasortiz5880 Tried to post a link, if u didn't get it send me gmail

True
Common Honda issue I think, even our 03 Jazz had this similar issue when we got it, different fix though.
Yeah happens with most cars if they have their bumpers repainted at some point
How to fix head lights steam
Put some silica gel packs in the housing
reaseale them... no other solution
@@TheSilent1998 Replace the stock overswollen silica bag with a new one is the fix with these.
would u say it’s ok to install a the yonaka catback exhaust on my euro even tho it’s an auto?
Yep
Bro my Accord do not have Curise control so i want to install it
Too much of a hassle. A lot of work to do it I would recommend just buying one with cruise
@@KiwiCarLife Thanks
Clever
Yesss
but that's adding weight to the car! /s
OH NO
Nooooope
Ahh right
So you want me to ghetto rig my bumper? Lol no thanks. Next.
Do you want your bumper fixed or not?
