    Dang the 425 is sweet, I just picked up the Centerpoint Sniper Elite 385 at Blain's last week on clearance for $199.99, I got a hell of a deal on it from $375.00..It was all set up except for the scope being put on, I can't wait to fire it..Good luck on your hunting trips and great video..👍😁

    Hi there, what about accuracy and what kind off bolts are using? Please let me know.

    • @931livin8

      I shoot the factory center point that came with it and I also shoot carbon x bolt. Both are 20" bolts. The x bolts have a little long vane. I think a 3" compared to the 2" on the center point ones. They both shoot amazing out to 30 yards it's nothing to have the fletchings touching

    Do you know what case fits this crossbow

    • @931livin8
      @931livin8  Рік тому

      Any crossbow case that fits those measurements should work. (12x6x31). I wouldn't go any bigger than an inch or 2 from those that way it doesn't take up a lot of space that isn't needed.

    i think i paid 350 dollars for mine on sale from walmart, i normally use a vertical compound bow for hunting but at that price you can't beat it! i have a small pop up blind when I'm not hunting from a tree stand that's why i bought it, only problem i have is the bolts messing up the fletchings from burrying themselves too deep in my target.

    • @931livin8
      @931livin8  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, it's a hard hitter. Still no complaints from me. Great value for the price.

    嘿,你好,我想问一些弩。它们是CNC铝合金箭头轨道。随着使用,油漆会磨损,露出合金的原色,特别是轨道的内侧。这种磨损对精度有很大影响吗?

    Thanks for the video- what do you think are the best bolts for this powerhouse? i have the same crossbow but I'm leaning towards shooting something heavier like in the 500 grain range

    • @931livin8
      @931livin8  Рік тому

      I've heard good things about the carbon Xpress piledriver bolts. I've actually been thinking of trying them in mine. They are a heavier bolt, I think the 20" weighs in around 442 grain. Let me know what you decide on. Thanks for the comment.

      @@931livin8 well, since my last reply, I have found that Black Eagle Executioners with a 150 grain tip and a nocturnal lighted nock is the best FOC and weight for this powerhouse crossbow

      I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. Crossbows are a lot better than they were just 10 years ago. The only issues I read are with limbs but a lot of it is caused from too light of a bolt.

    • @Tommy-xc7ct
      @Tommy-xc7ct 2 роки тому

      Use a heavy bolt with killer instinct or youl be without a bow .. I'm telling you now...they can NOT and we're NOT intended for light bolts... Easton fmj crossbow bolts are the way to go with fast xbows such as these unless you wanna go all out adding inserts and all that stuff for the same outcome . Half dozen of Easton FMJs are around 80 bucks. And they hit like sledgehammers on our past 30 yards. And they stack up nice

      Killer instinct aren't bad bows my friend has the killer instinct ripper 415 that thing hits fast and really hard I was going to pick some different ones up to collect them. I just don't like the fps it says 415 fps it doesn't do it. It says 425 doesn't do it. It's way under that have to use chronograph and find bolts that will get you up to that fps or closer then it does. The 415 came in at 390 fps I think with chronograph testing which still will kill still fast we swapped out different bolts to get it up close to there claim fps. But my friend was happy with the fps and left it that way. Hey he got a twelve point buck 3 days after opening day of archery this year with that bow at 63 yards with the killer instinct valuable speed ring setup witch shoots out to a 100 yards with no problem and accurate so regardless of fps you should be happy with the killer instinct bows.

      Sir. What center point crossbow do you have that broke the stock off. I have all the center point crossbows with cranks I had no problem with center point crossbows. I get a new one every time they come out with one and after I take a buck and max out my 3 doe tags with the bow I hang it up and buy a new one. That's the AR style stock you shouldn't have any problem with it. I love center point crossbows and carbon express and Barnett crossbows that's all I mess with and own. I had so many I started selling some for a hundred dollars each just to make room for new ones. I even have the PSE copperhead viper crossbow 150 lb draw no problem took deer with it also. So I'm curious why and how this happened to your bow. I mean all mine are different poundage bows with these cranks and I'm still using them.

      I noticed that you posted this 3 months ago which was around the fall season. I would assume that fall is the busiest season for any bow company. with that said, my stock did break in January 2023 with using the crank and it was all my own fault because I was not using it properly. But guess what; I called CP and had the best customer service a guy could have and they shipped me the new parts for FREE! So please don't say that they don't stand behind their warranty when they do!! Thanks
