    I bought the Centerpoint Wrath 430, out of curiosity. I had a few minor issues, easily fixed once I figured it out, now it's the best crossbow for the money I've ever used. The allen bolts that hold down the scope rail loosened up after shooting, as well as the main bolt that holds the riser to the rail/barrel. A little lock tight fixed it. I put the video on my channel, will post a follow up later this weekend. I'm a NJ guy as well, just subscribed, looking fwd to checking out your other videos.

    I just picked up the Centerpoint Sniper Elite 385 at Blain's Farm and Fleet last week on clearance for 199.99 market down from 349.99..Nice thing about it was it was the floor model they unfortunately were out of stock, but I had to put the scope and quiver on..The quiver was a pain in the ass though it took me 40 minutes but I needed 3 hands of course..lol..Mine only came with 2 bolts as well..I haven't shot it yet but can't wait to do some hunting..Great video and enjoy Centerpoints are excellent crossbows for the money..👍😁

    At about 7:54 he mentions it's heavier than his bow, I have the Heat 425 and it's just short of 10 lbs w/ quiver. They are well made and that transfers to heavier. Also, they do pack a punch. If you read the instructions first they go together very fast and I guess that is what he was saying at the end.

    Just bought mine, replacing my centrepoint 390 because my son wants it. 1 recommendation, change the scope. Used killer instinct speed scope on my 390 and it was dead accurate out to 100 every time.

  • @ericnewberry
    @ericnewberry 2 роки тому

    The scope that came with mine broke on the elevation knob as I was within a few inches of zeroing it. So I went with the barnet speed ring. Hopefully I catch a nice calm non super windy day I’ll start over with the new one.

    I NEVER USE THE ARROW QUIVER THAT COMES WITH THESE THINGS , OR THE SCOPES . I USE A HIGH GRADE HAWKE SCOPE AND A LEG QUIVER WITH STRING SILENCERS AND LIMB SAVERS .

    You can pack the space between the stock and the buffer tube with either a couple of strips of electrical tape or the soft side of a self adhesive velcro strip to eliminate any rattle.

    How’s this bow still holding up

  • @cvcoco
    @cvcoco Рік тому

    In reviews of cheaper crossbows, the limbs and other parts break and dont hold up very long. Should crossbows below a certain price just be avoided?

    • @badbloodoutdoors1874
      @badbloodoutdoors1874  Рік тому

      Honestly, that's a personal choice. Most crossbows, even cheaper one, will shoot straight. How long they stay in one piece is a different question.

    What's better center point or killer instinct or Barnet

    • @badbloodoutdoors1874
      @badbloodoutdoors1874  2 роки тому

      Personally after shooting all of them I like the killer instinct the best it’s a solid bow and the power it produces is unmatched by the other brands I have had a Barnet in the past and after 4 years the limbs cracked but it did kill a good amount of deer
