Jeff Lorber Fusion -
Jeff Lorber (keyboards)
Eric Marienthal (Saxophone)
Jimmy Haslip (Bass)
Will Kennedy (Drums)
Jeff is one the most outstanding musicians, I've ever heared!!
I don't believe that there isn't a album/cd that isn't worth having...The bro can play!!
Wish he would come to the ohio area
Love it. The album version is perhaps Weather Report's most intricate composition, with all the sounds of the world and counterpart going on in layer upon layer, building up and up.
Will Kennedy always kills it on drums!
How can someone not like this video/song?? I love this song! I love the 3/4 to4/4 to 5/4 parts.
A total reconstruction of a Weather Report classic!
Saw Jeff Lorber in New York, except he didn't have these guys. Great Video.
Really good version of Weather Report GREAT albums!
Wow!
wow great upload love this
I saw these guys in Zoetermeer in june 2010. All are great performers. I had a brief chat with Will afterwards, he's is a really nice person BTW. Check out the Jeff Lorber CD, not featuring Will, but it's great nonetheless.
Saweet!
Lorber with the Yellowjackets rhythm section and Marienthal ???
how did I miss THIS ??
saw lorber with most of this group, Gary Novack was on drums, no Marienthal, but Michael Brecker was with him
@talkingwall Yes I have.... Love it!
I think it is Lorber Jackets. Was just thinking about the lineup. Oh well.
@DGIORGIANI As for Haslip, they just went into the interlude and he didn't expect it. It's understandable.
WOWW…..
What happened with Jimmy Haslip at 3:42 ????
Whatever happened, I don't care Jimmy still the BASS MAN, and it just make me for confident in getting lost!!!
Jimmy is a Bass genius!!!
Nice to know even the great ones miss the form now and then.
Is this the Lorber Jackets?
'Now Is the Time' to ... claim legacy you have no right to even sit in the same room with? Ok, Haslip is hot, but this is a travesty.
