In my opinion the traveling comes less tedious and more of a fun chaos when you have full squad and trying to drive those racers side by side without flying to the moon. I've had many laughs cuz of it.

Dr. Ned’s dlc was so dope, I’m glad they didn’t go for a Halloween theme because then it would feel a little out of place it gives a dead vibe and old haven’s atmosphere is so cool, one of my favorite dlc’s by far
The Claptastic Voyage is my favourite for turning a previously two-dimensional comic relief mascot into one of the most tragic characters in the series And I absolutely hate whenever TFTB references are in any of the main games. Their character development is completely ignored in favor of over-playing their flaws that they had gotten over by the time of Episode 5. Its like the Borderlands writers hate how successful TFTB was that they feel the need to flanderize or just straight up kill off any of the TFTB crew so that their own characters look better by comparison
Yeah, you could really feel that the main BL writers hated any story/character that was not made by them; killing off TFTB characters in unsatisfying ways, ignoring pretty much ALL of TPS, especially the warning of the Guardian Eridian... where was that guy anyway in BL3?!?!
I'm overjoyed General Knoxx gets the recognition he deserves! His Echo records in the Pre-sequel were such a welcome surprise. No small feat, the Knoxx dlc also solidified the Borderlands humor which BL2 continued to improve.
Good to know someone else appreciates knoxx like I did, it was THE perfect dlc for a borderlands game in general like what do you do after opening a prison for a 4th dimensional being you obviously go raid some high ranking Military guys armory full of bad ass guns
Personally i think bounty of blood might be my favorite. There was just something about the athmosphere and the lack of humor in the DLC that i absolutely loved. The fact that all of borderlands is based on humor, and then suddenly it was not there like it usually is really gave the DLC a serious vibe. It even managed to give chills many times! Not to mention all of the guns. Just awesome.
It has very pleasing color palette and aesthetics. The only few gripes I have with it: -Missed the perfect opportunity to introduce Salvador -For all the teasing and build-up, the final boss was such a pushover -Juno and Titus are generic af But all in all: it's probably the most polished and gorgeous Borderlands dlc I've had pleasure playing.
That DLC doesn't even have soundtrack, how can anyone unironically enjoy that and think that makes it have a more "serious" tone? Hammerlock's wedding DLC manages to set up a better serious creepy tone.
@@gustavosanches3454 It actually has music, and its great. For example ashfall peaks battle music is really good. And honestly hammerlock wedding dlc didn't feel intense at all. It was full of slapstick comedy and it clearly didn't try to take its self seriously. And it isn't really creepy, more like a little spooky. I still like it tho, just not as much as bounty of blood.
I was actually really disappointed with the fustercluck dlc as it pollutes kriegs story by creating doctor Benedict and leaving out doctor samuels who was already established to be fairly important to kriegs story. Not to mention the lack of slag experimentation which is the whole thing Hyperion was doing and instead said it was some psycho gas that made psychos. I also disliked the idea of the psychoreaver as it makes kriegs brain almost like a clone of every other psychos brain.
Yeah I actually really hated all the story ideas of that dlc and believe it not to be Canon even if they say it is any fans head Canon is better in my opinion , like the idea of him some how being Tinas dad is still one of my favorites
@@ezaf-bayleaf9043 I just finished the DLC and...what? You confront the Psychoreaver, the manifestation of all of Krieg's repressed rage and hatred, defeat it, Sane Krieg realises that the existence of his Psycho self is what's been keeping that rage from consuming his sane side, which in turn is what's keeping Krieg as a whole from mindless mass murder, and they finally learn to coexist by creating a mind where both of them can be happy. Where in that was Tina mentioned? Admittedly I've never heard any rumour, theory, or otherwise saying anything along the lines of "Krieg is Tina's dad" before this
I might be the only person that loves Hammerlocks big game hunt. I absolutely love the environment and enemies introduced in the DLC, and while the story was barebones I just love Hammerlock as a character, so having a weekend hunting expedition as a premise was perfect. I dont know how to describe it but there's just something about the whole atmosphere of the DLC thats hard to beat!
I'm honestly more annoyed that for a DLC called "Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt" we didn't spend more time, with Hammerlock, hunting cool monsters. I do think the atmosphere is cool in some areas, but they're still not fun to traverse.
my favorite DLC has to be The Handsome Jackpot. While yeah, the Trashlantis part was kinda meh, Handsome Jack and Timothy and are 2 of my favoirte characters in all of gaming. Seeing the aftermath of Jack's downfall was really interesting
Honestly it just makes me happy to play through it. And it was the only dlc I really got all the way through 100% despite completing all borderlands games to the fullest or even replaying ones such as borderlands 2 and putting thousands of hours into it. Borderlands 3 in general didnt really hit the mark for me but good ol handsome Jack content did
Did you also get Bioshock vibes from it? I loved that DLC because the entire setting, the way you progress and even the main villain reminded me of the original Bioshock.
The thing about Bounty of Blood is that unlike the rest of the first 4 DLCs of bl3 it doesn't rely on returning characters, so the fact that its a good simply story, that had me compelled, with some worth while loot, and it can stand on its own, even if someone like Salvador would have made sense to bring back and doesn't, makes it more impressive and better IMO. Also the song that comes at the end credits is some top tier shit.
i never played claptastic voyage until last year when i forced myself to go through the pre sequel, and it surpassed dragon keep for me for my favorite DLC
After having a break from the Pre-Sequel I picked it up again and absolutely loved the Claptastic Voyage, it became my favorite. Taking a little breather really made me appreciate TPS and the wonderful DLC it came with. I wish I could hug claptrap during it :(
I thought the TTAODK har the best story, but liked Captain Scarlet DLC more. It had less annoying enemies. Those teleporting scorers were terrible and when you got a head shot on a skeleton, it kept coming at you. Minor grievances I know, but still. Also Captain Scarlet DLC gave us Captain Scarlet, someone we will see in the future.
@MiN not really. Remember hammerlock's hunt? Or the headhunter packs? Or even worse, wonderlands' garbage DLC? IMO the guns, love, and tentacles DLC was decently solid. The theme was awesome, but like you said, the villains sucked. At least a few side quests were cool though.
The general Knoxx DLC is the reason why we got the humor of BL2 and everything onward. I still remember that announcement during the BL2 hype, that they would base their story telling and humor on said DLC. The Handsome Jackpot DLC was by far my most favorite BL3 DLC; simply because it felt like BL2 again and not the atrocious BL3 story. Bounty of Blood is on 2nd place, because I just loved that old western style they went for and THAT scene close to the end of the DLC.
The Worst thing about Assault on Dragon's Keep is how everything seems to deal way higher damage to you and that the enemies tank way too many hits despite only being around level 35 when I was playing it
Idk what this guy was saying about the enemies not being annoying to kill. FUCK skeletons, ogres, mages, skeletaurs etc. If anything this dlc has the most annoying enemies
@@arixbi4902 if you go in underleveled or even the same level as the enemies, then yeah, it will be tough, but most players play the DLC AFTER BEATING THE GAME, so then they SHOULD be around the right level or higher.
I personally only am kinda upset that that claptrap's revolution isn't higher on the list, as it just tied up the entirety of BL1 so so nicely. Especially the final boss was just such a cool little pleasent surprise as someone who was actually experiencing it blind for the first time. I think that Knoxx' story is overall much more interesting, but not as entertaining gameplay wise, mostly because of all the driving involved and the bland areas, the cores make it a bit more bearable luckily. I also thought that its ending was honestly kind of lackluster. Craptrap's revolution on the other hand is super duper fun to play through, even though it lacks the interesting story. It's just really fucking cool seeing characters from throughout your BL1 journey and its DLCs up to that point be brought back as mechanical hybrids. The very last mission ends right where it all started too, which I'm a sucker for. The final boss is fun and unexpected too, which is just great. It is just such a perfect ending which ties up all of BL1 so so nicely that I cant help but gush about it. Had Knoxx' not introduced the concept of raidbosses and pearls to the series, I'd have put claptraps revolution higher than it honestly.
Hammerlocks dlc has one of the best villains out of any dlc.. and the enemies are an actual challenge and different than every other mob reskin. Top 3 dlc easily
i hope we can get a dlcs in the future where rose and scarlet team up and are the villains in the dlc! they have the perfect opportunity for that. both survived and are amazing
The handsome jackpot was my favorite of all time. Everyone always dogs on it, I feel like the odd one out by constantly replaying it and sort of leaving the other major 3 in the side, especially with my friends.
Tiny Tina dlc was just everything lol. It had engaging plot, Good narrative characters, Engaging antagonist, It was simultaneously wacky and serious, Upbeat with a tint of gloom. Honestly one of my favourite dlcs of any game
Almost every Borderlands DLC invented something new, like the Pearlescent Pearlescent weapons and new vehicles in the Knoxx DLC and the "First Raid Boss" in this Franchise plus the armory! The Underdome is just a DLC to kill time (and probably your own sanity) Dr. Ned's Zombie DLC is worth a playthrough but the only new thing i can recall is the Jakobs Vending Machine... The INAC DLC has a nice gift shop and Blake himself! Borderlands 2 has some good ones like the Torgue DLC (At this point he needs no introduction because it's TORGUE) Scarlet has some of the best weapons in the entire game and Tinas Assault on Dragon Keep is just legendary! The Sanctuary DLC is just good for legendary farming! Borderlands 3 is like a mixed table for me personally but mainly because of how the original characters are handled! The Handsome Jackpot DLC was a nice throwback to the old loaderbot days and brought us some cool new and returning weapons like the Nukem, Heart Breaker, Cream, and the infamous ION CANNON! The Hammerlocks Wedding DLC has some really interesting stuff and mythology in it which i became a little fan over the years! Sadly no Raid Boss! The next one is good but not my favorite (except the guns, those are great) perhaps because of loading times but that depends on which platform you're playing on! It has some really cool moments like the Nuke going off and a more serious tone to it compared to the rest of the game, which makes this DLC the Outlier! The Krieg DLC is one and done but they could have done so much more to it! Ok this isn't technically a DLC but don't forget the Cartels Event which added some of the strongest gear in the entire game and has one of the most memorable soundtrack that was ever produced for this game! I know that the headhunter packs weren't included here but there are so many DLCs in this franchise that it would definitely break the scale here!
@@mad_elf Yes. Played both dlcs too, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine were great dlcs but honestly neither of them left as much of an impact as Assault on Dragon keep, another example is the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3, it was great because of how much fanservice the writer put into it, its iconic, and so is Assault on Dragon Keep.
Guns, Love and Tentacles was a great DLC overall. It had a heart-warming story, the environment was great, NPCs as well, and to fight a Wendigo was something I had no idea I'd ever do in Borderlands. Plus, the Vault Hunter being the "priest" thst unites Alistair and Wainwright was a very wholesome moment. Really loved the fireworks ending too, very solid DLC.
Headhunters is one of my favourites, because of how digestible and quick they all are. It's nice to have some "Pocket DLC's" that can each be completed in about 15-30 minutes each; and gain some XP, Weapons, Gear etc etc within minimal time.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles is my personal favorite because I love Wainwright and Hammerlock and I'm a Gaige Main, but Tina's DLC will always be great because of the story. The only thing that pisses me off about that DLC is the mission after you meet Roland. It's nearly impossible to complete while doing single player, and I usually play solo. But other than that, it was really fun.
I liked bounty of blood too so it was nice to see it up high on your list. Loved the aesthetics which is one of the reasons I just visit the planet. Same thing with guns, love, and tentacles. Butcher Rose and Mancubus were just so interesting to interact with.
I think you should have swapped Lilith and guns, love, and tentacles. I absolutely loved the fact that we got to catch up on some tales characters, and I think that it was a really nice farewell to borderlands 2
@@raith3700 Didn't they make Phaselock last much less on them? Almost like they purposefully created the worst enemy ever. That and Buzzards on OP8 / 10..
im so happy you put the claptastic voyage at 2nd, its hands down my favourite one, although I do have a grudge against shadow trap for the eclipse fight
Only cuz he forgot to mention it but Moxxi's underdome also introduces a small bit of story that gets mentioned in other Borderlands games about how canonically Mordecai is the one that won her arena and as a prize dated Moxxi for a while before Jack showed up. Edit: you could totally skip Moxxi's underdome unless you are playing for the achievements or full game completion what ever your thing is. It's not even clarified who is supposed to canonically win in the first game. Borderlands 2 is where it starts to get mentioned that It's Mordecai.
Fun fact: if you fail to beat the invincible 4 dragons from the raid boss part of Tiny Tina’s DLC, as you’re walking out of the area, Tiny Tina laughs at you for failing I speak from experience
Honestly I think the best DLC in the entire series would be Claptrap's DLC from TPS. It was deep, fun and hilarious IMO. Tina's was good too just a very very close second. They both have infinite replayability to me.
I think I’ve spent the most time in torgues dlc. I just love it lol farming Pete and his bar and badass bikers was awesome. Also I really enjoyed the head hunter packs especially the snow one
Yo that placing of The Campaign of Carnage hurts me so much lol. The areas can get long and boring yea but the many quests and sidequests were funny as hell. Mr.Torgue got me laughing so hard I had to pause the game on several occasions
No way the handsome jackpot is arguably my favorite borderlands content. Timothy was amazing. And I loved Pretty Boy lmao EDIT: I’m a Zane main so that dlc made me lmao
I dunno I would've put Holodome Onslaught above Moxxi's Underdome Riot because you don't gain xp or proficiencies in Underdome. Also yup Knoxx should be way lower just for that obnoxious driving around crap. I remember rescuing Athena told me to meet back at Scooter's. I get back and she had a side-mission for me to go where I JUST rescued her. Though to be honest all 3 of the DLCs had that problem, not counting Underdome, just A LOT of traversing back and forth if you pick up any side-missions with no fast-travel, Knoxx just exacerbated it.
Honestly i'd put Handsome Jackpot above Fustercluck for only 1 reason, The Scraptrap farm, there is no faster way to hit the level cap than to farm those guys, and since they are technically a boss, they can drop legendaries throughout the farming, AND they can get haunted or be part of the Cartel for base BL3 content, letting you stay on level (even if they are mediocre legendaries)
I think out of the small DLCs, Director's Cut really should be higher. Higher than goddamn Arms Race, that's for sure. The guns are less broken, but the story content is great and practically moves mountains to redeem Ava as a character - it shows what she could and should have been in the main story, and has some very interesting implications for the lore involving the Eridians. Why the heck is it below a battle royale knockoff? There's a bit more content, the environments are neat and diverse, the weapons are mechanically fun as heck, there's a proper Invincible... As side missions specifically go, it's got some of the best in the series. personally.
The idea that it REDEEMED her is laughable. It's a DLC where even the name shows that it was all cut content they shouldn't have charged for anyway, and her little podcast quest chain doesn't even come close to redeeming such a poorly written little shit
Assault on Dragon Keep is one of only a very few times a video game has made me cry. Her emotion coming to terms with Roland's death will stick with me forever.
I'm one of the few who thinks Bounty of Blood was alright. The liked the scenery, and the story was pretty straight forward, but the characters were meh. Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck on the other hand is my second favorite DLC that I have ever played (Only surpassed by ME3's Citadel DLC). I remember when I first played BL2 in the Handsome Jack collection, I used Krieg. It left such an impact on me that I absolutely hated BL3 because Krieg isn't really in it. And after Maya died there were a lot of emotions I couldn't really express. But with the Fustercluck DLC, for the first time in a while I could say that a DLC hit me on an emotional level I hadn't experienced before. One of the greatest tragic backstories gaming has to offer that also includes the right amount of humor to balance it out.
EOS can suck my ass. Not only his fight consists of spamming far away turrets, the path getting to him is somehow longer than your usual dungeon. Also his invincibility phase made Evil Lilith's look like a McDonald's drive-thru
I mostly agree, and part of it is just me still being salty over bl3's directors/designers cut. I bought the super deluxe edition thinking that it would give access to all content but there was this whole "season pass 2" kinda thing for 2 full price dlcs with less content. I still bought them, but salty
My favourite is without doubt the captain scarlet dlc. You get Two of the best guns in the series as mission rewards, pimpernel and sandhawk. And I probably spent days farming the loot chest room some 10 (almost) years ago. Good times.
Agreed with your list apart from the top 2. Personally, I enjoyed the Claptrap DLC more than Tina's. I will not elaborate too much on it but it just boils down to a story that is more to my preference and Shadow-Trap being my second all time-favorite villain, narrowly being beaten by Handsome Jack.
Tina's DLC did something that I have only seen in a single other game, and that was how the story being told changed the world, like when suddenly the cute woods turn into a creepy forest in a blink of an eye. The only other example I know of is the criminally underrated Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.
Before watching the video, I'm just curious if there's going to be a DLC ranked lower than Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. I never played the original BL so I don't know if any of the DLC is good or bad. I guess TPS having just an arena as a DLC is a little crappy, but I admit it added much needed content for a game that was sorely lacking it.
TPS' arena was exceptionally terrible though. The map is massive and barely anything spawns in it. Especially as a solo player, it's like the combat equivalent of the Knoxx DLC's travel segments.
@@FelisImpurrator the arena might be too big, but it has a lot of effects (huge saw on the floor, moving O2 zones) and new enemies which are pretty good and annoying at the same time. These small extra missions for the arena are funny too.
My favs are as follows: Tiny T (all around goodness) Clap Trap Robolution (Hyperion Gift Shop) Ned's Island (Zombies + fire weapons = fun) Fight for Sanctuary (new weapons, more levels; etc.) Clap Trap Conscience (pre-sequel - lots of skins and new glitched weapon types) Good vid.
The biggest issue for me with Bounty of Blood is two things really. But kind of go together. 1. Juono sucks and I disliked her with a passion. 2. This should've been something where they experimented a bit more with the story. Let you choose sides. I can't stress this enough. Me and so many other people I've talked to agree that always being the good guy here is just plain obnoxious. Lots of people don't like the main cast of the game. So let us be the bad guy. Let us choose between siding with Rose (I think is her name? The bad chick) or doing the good side and siding with the town. I feel Gearbox should've tried this. Choices mattering. Maybe have it be the leadup to BL4 or whatever. Edit: I still want them to do a new Borderlands game. But have it set during BL2 time. But instead of following the events that we are used to. We instead get to go up against Sanctuary and side with Handsome Jack. I can see some of the VH's right now. I definitely see Angle as one of the VH's. Would be interesting to see her powers. Maybe something like flying? or a mix of Siren powers and technology. I also see another VH that could be all about poison/venom. Like a femme fatal type character. Great looking but is likely to kill you awfully. I'd just love being able to be the bad guy and kill off some of the more annoying characters of the series. Namely Lilith. And Lilith. Oh! And also Lilith.
The vehicle travel in General Knoxx was one of the best parts, when playing with friends that is. We used to race and knock eachother over all the time on those big roads.
funny thing was that the glitch rarity introduced a glitch. What you needed was a glitch rarity jakobs sniper, and it had to have the loop glitch on it. with a little weapon swapping, you could transfer the loop effect semi permanently to all your other guns. What loop did was severely increase fire rate and give about a 50% chance to not consume ammo each shot. outside the glitch itself, loop also forced continuous fire until you reloaded again
Tinas was just a masterclass in story writing. It was just an amazing addition to the original story, seeing how a 13 year old girl, growing up in a post apocolyptic waste with rebels, parents being murdered when she was very young. And seeing how she copes with the loss of the one only parental figgures she actually knows.
You know what makes me sad we can never get that same first time feeling of playing borderlands the first time and I miss borderlands i I’d love it Evan better if it was more popular
Quite an interesting list, but to me, the best Borderlands 1 DLC was the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. I found the idea of putting zombies in the game amazing, the music I also liked and the story was quite interesting. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx was cool, but I did believe that the traveling was what made it a little boring. It was too big, and Jakobs Cove wasn't so big and shooting zombies was awesome.

Assault on Dragon Keep are one of the few DLCs/Games that simultaneously made you cry and laugh, and that's rare.
Just like an actual D&D campaign if done right. And that is why I love this DLC so freaking much.
I'm overjoyed General Knoxx gets the recognition he deserves! His Echo records in the Pre-sequel were such a welcome surprise.
No small feat, the Knoxx dlc also solidified the Borderlands humor which BL2 continued to improve.
Good to know someone else appreciates knoxx like I did, it was THE perfect dlc for a borderlands game in general like what do you do after opening a prison for a 4th dimensional being you obviously go raid some high ranking Military guys armory full of bad ass guns
i’m back. wait i’m back? dammit
Did u pay for a tour of the worlds largest bullet it cost 9999999999999 and there is no tour 😂
@@highstoner4207 I did. Once. lol
@@Favk21 I’ve done it at least 4 times 1 for each vault hunter and not including pc and switch and PlayStation versions it would be about 12 times
The only few gripes I have with it:
-Missed the perfect opportunity to introduce Salvador
-For all the teasing and build-up, the final boss was such a pushover
-Juno and Titus are generic af
But all in all: it's probably the most polished and gorgeous Borderlands dlc I've had pleasure playing.
That DLC doesn't even have soundtrack, how can anyone unironically enjoy that and think that makes it have a more "serious" tone? Hammerlock's wedding DLC manages to set up a better serious creepy tone.
@@gustavosanches3454 it does have a soundtrack
@@gustavosanches3454 It actually has music, and its great. For example ashfall peaks battle music is really good. And honestly hammerlock wedding dlc didn't feel intense at all. It was full of slapstick comedy and it clearly didn't try to take its self seriously. And it isn't really creepy, more like a little spooky. I still like it tho, just not as much as bounty of blood.
right? i love serious borderlands and i love that rose survived. that can give us a possible dlc with rose and scarlet
Thank you! People say that Fustercluck is the best story of BL3's DLC campaigns and I just don't see it.
Yeah I actually really hated all the story ideas of that dlc and believe it not to be Canon even if they say it is any fans head Canon is better in my opinion , like the idea of him some how being Tinas dad is still one of my favorites
Slag and The Pre-Sequel have been retconned out of the story so it makes sense neither of them are mentioned.
@@deetzyboywonder9312 They literally confirm that Krieg is Tina's dad at the end of the DLC wtf are you talking about?
You’re not, second favorite dlc out of 2
Nakyama is also funny i think
well.. i hate vora op10
Opinions arent allowed on the internet
my favorite DLC has to be The Handsome Jackpot. While yeah, the Trashlantis part was kinda meh, Handsome Jack and Timothy and are 2 of my favoirte characters in all of gaming. Seeing the aftermath of Jack's downfall was really interesting
Genuinly an underrated dlc. It sums up all the best things you get in a borderlands story in my opinion
@@Rmat7 exactly! i think the casino is one of the best locations there's been in a BL game
and it has the borderlands 2 nostalgia with all the hyperion stuff :D
I'm not the only one that love the ending song then
Bounty of blood has my favorite aesthetic of being Japanese fused with old western vibes
Claptrap robolution gives you a damn good loot room early game too.
i never played claptastic voyage until last year when i forced myself to go through the pre sequel, and it surpassed dragon keep for me for my favorite DLC
11:43 that's quite a reach for seraph weapons when some were pretty damn good. Calling them "worthless" is pretty stupid
1. 17:06 Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep (BL 2)
2 16:04 Claptastic Voyage (BL TPS)
3. 15:00 Bounty of Blood (BL 3)

Thank you!
I loved this video, makes me want to replat everything again
Didn't expect u here
U play borderlands?
How long have you been gay for? 😂
@@arixbi4902 but it’s sooo fun
@@arixbi4902 if you go in underleveled or even the same level as the enemies, then yeah, it will be tough, but most players play the DLC AFTER BEATING THE GAME, so then they SHOULD be around the right level or higher.
Badass skeletons were hella annoying, and the arena was pretty bullshit with those insta-kill traps, but overall I enjoyed it alot.
Dragons and the shock skeletons are so annoying to fight they just run around the environment without much interaction
This is the first time ive seen Guns, love, and tentacles this high
I loved dr neds zombie island I remember playing it when it came out and I really enjoyed it
When Tina hugs the Roland statue at the end of Dragon Keep, I'm not gonna lie, I have to hold back tears every time.
This is the first Borderlands DLC ranking that I completely agree with! Although, I do wish that the general Knoxx DLC was placed in the top 3.
When he's talking about the clap-trap dlc the ear-worm song is playing in the background and it's gnawing on my soul why EruptionFang why!?
Hammerlocks dlc has one of the best villains out of any dlc.. and the enemies are an actual challenge and different than every other mob reskin. Top 3 dlc easily

The Underdome is just a DLC to kill time (and probably your own sanity)
Dr. Ned's Zombie DLC is worth a playthrough but the only new thing i can recall is the Jakobs Vending Machine...
The INAC DLC has a nice gift shop and Blake himself!
Borderlands 2 has some good ones like the Torgue DLC (At this point he needs no introduction because it's TORGUE)
Scarlet has some of the best weapons in the entire game and Tinas Assault on Dragon Keep is just legendary!
Tina's DLC is hands down one of the best dlc in gaming history overall
Have you played the Witcher 3? Because the heart of stone dlc is far and beyond my fav dlc.
@@spicynips8466 I agree tiny Tina's dlc was really good/impactful.
I never played the mass effect series, so I can't speak on that one.
@@mad_elf Great franchise, totally recommend. Specially now since the Legendary edition came out, all 3 games+ all dlc for 60$
Red Dead Undead Nightmare wants to know your location
I mean “nearly impossible” is pushing it. If you don’t have a solid build then, yea, it’s pretty tough.
@@Impurity41 I don't normally have good builds in games. I focus more on the storyline.
tiny tina dlc is probably still to this day my favorite dlc for any game ive ever played

I hope borderlands 3 gets as much love as 2 got with all the extra content added after the 4 dlcs but I honestly don’t think it will
Sadly it probably wont ever received as much love as Borderlands 2. Bl2 was one of those amazing games you could probably never recreate.
I still want to see more weapon variations from each manufacturer on borderlands 3 on a new dlc, where the tediore or Maliwan launchers at?
8:33 - Pretty Boy was the Handsome Jack boss fight I wanted with B2. It's really cool fight.

Fun fact: if you fail to beat the invincible 4 dragons from the raid boss part of Tiny Tina’s DLC, as you’re walking out of the area, Tiny Tina laughs at you for failing
I speak from experience
Honestly I think the best DLC in the entire series would be Claptrap's DLC from TPS. It was deep, fun and hilarious IMO. Tina's was good too just a very very close second. They both have infinite replayability to me.
I’m so glad you used teh ear worm as the background music while talking about claptastic voyage.
I think I’ve spent the most time in torgues dlc. I just love it lol farming Pete and his bar and badass bikers was awesome. Also I really enjoyed the head hunter packs especially the snow one
Gehenna's japanese onsen is absolutely incredible. By far my favourite location in the borderlands franchise
That Tiny DLC based about D&D was amazing.
Yo that placing of The Campaign of Carnage hurts me so much lol. The areas can get long and boring yea but the many quests and sidequests were funny as hell. Mr.Torgue got me laughing so hard I had to pause the game on several occasions
Point for General Knoxx DLC. It's also peak Borderlands Humor.
Love H Jack and really enjoyed the casino, id love to see his face and hear his voice everywhere
Zombie Island was awesome,so good that I regret that they did not made more like that
No way the handsome jackpot is arguably my favorite borderlands content.
The key to Knoxx was quitting the game and reloading as it puts you back at the main area to help with the transversing a little
The Antagonist shield and the Florentine seraph gear are my go tos on Gaige. They were made for her. The Florentine is also an absolute stalker killer
1. Hammerlocks hunt obviously
I lost it when I heard "You Got A Good Lookin' Mainframe" as the background music for The Claptastic Voyage section.
I was just talking about this with my friend yesterday, hopefully Hammerlocks big game hunt is the worst 🙏
Nah its the zombie island of dr ned
Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt sucked, but I think that Bounty of Blood is 100% more garbage than it.
@@smug2525 nah you tweaking my boy lol
You nailed the Borderlands 2 DLC ranking. Big Game Hunt < Campaign of Carnage < Fight for Sanctuary < Pirates Booty < Assault on Dragon Keep.
I actually liked the underdome but I never grinded all 3 arenas at once
It definitely isn't my favorite though
One of the greatest tragic backstories gaming has to offer that also includes the right amount of humor to balance it out.
the hammerlock dlc is literally just a 30-minute-long loading screen to get the rough rider lol
The Claptastic Voyage final boss was really long and frustrating took me two hours on normal mode and I was a higher level.
EOS can suck my ass. Not only his fight consists of spamming far away turrets, the path getting to him is somehow longer than your usual dungeon. Also his invincibility phase made Evil Lilith's look like a McDonald's drive-thru
Claptraps Robot Revolution gives access to the Hyperian Gift Shop, which in and of itself should put it in the top 5.
I mostly agree, and part of it is just me still being salty over bl3's directors/designers cut. I bought the super deluxe edition thinking that it would give access to all content but there was this whole "season pass 2" kinda thing for 2 full price dlcs with less content. I still bought them, but salty
Great I thought i was the only one
Very confusing and disappointing. Gonna buy it this week 🤣
'Each new run feels fresh and gives a ton of replayability'. This is the first time I heard someone describe Arms Race this way.
the ava murder mystery missions take place during the main game. the final one is the only one that is set after the base game
My favs are as follows:
Tiny T (all around goodness)
Clap Trap Robolution (Hyperion Gift Shop)
Ned's Island (Zombies + fire weapons = fun)
Fight for Sanctuary (new weapons, more levels; etc.)
Clap Trap Conscience (pre-sequel - lots of skins and new glitched weapon types)
Good vid.
Would never happen. Gearbox's head writer loves Lilith too much. That's why all her faults were retconned out of Borderlands 3.
I was expecting Tina's to be first, but I'm just happy that bounty got the recognition it deserves
I played Tiny Tina's with my brother not too long after mom passed... I needed that cry
EruptionFang: Not the bl3 sandhawk | Gearbox: so we gave every sniper in the game a 20% damage buff...
My personal top 5 DLCs are:
Tina tiny assault on dragons keep
Pirates booty
Krieg DLC
General knoxs armory
Bounty of blood
tina's dlc is soo good, it was relaunched as an standalone game and a new game with the same thematic
Your top 2 somehow managed to be my two favorite dlc of the series
