  • Unfortunately she didn't catch one deadsticking when i was filming, but I thought id share the technique if you're trying to catch your first crappie. Thats usually how this video recording goes. The minute you stop recording, is the precise moment you needed to be recording.
Music does not belong to me. Belong to their respective owners. Epidemic records and Sup-Yann.

Go in the morning. very important. They don’t like very hot weather, and are more active after the water cools over night.
You can use spinners, jigs, crankbaits, but they love 4” green pumpkin senkos. Try wacky rigging like i do on the video about wacky rigs, and pitch them in areas that are shaded. This year they’ve been holding tight to the root lines and structure. Try all along the side by the wooden green box, and also try the small cove with the water fountain in the beginning of this video.

Thanks for the tip man ,it’s my day off today so hopefully later tonight they’ll be biting , I’ll look into the wacky rigg video also, I’m definitely gonna start fishing that green box side more then I used too , have you ever caught a bass out of the pond by the golf course ?

Of course anytime! Yeah actually frequently on jigs or wacky rig. Work small baits in shallow areas and wacky rigs in deeper pockets. They’re not as big as the bass in the main lake but they’ll strike a senko as big as them lol

How do you catch them with red worms?? Jigging or with a float?

@@joenava2679 red worm about two feet down or more from the bobber and casting right under the bridge slowly moving right to left cause the crappie are very finicky fish , sometimes they’re 3 feet sometimes even deeper . But just a basic #6 hook good ol red worm . And a bobber 😭🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥
