One of the most memorable magical beautiful finals. The cold the vuvuzelas, Spain's first world cup. Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, David Villa, Casillas will always be my favorite players, It was really special and just magical! Wish I could relieve these special moments again. Great times!

It was truly the best world cup so far. The world cup song, Shakira singing it Spain champions and the drama of the tournament. Every broadcast was saying the Dutch are choosing the physical approach to finals and it got ugly. It almost worked because Spain started fouling back. 2 Dutch at least should of gotten red cards. The horse collar take down of villa, the kick to chest. Ref tried to keep it 11 on 11. To keep a final from being decided in 1st half.

Just look at Sergio Busquets. Starting in the World Cup final, playing the full 120 minutes, lifting the trophy. Just three years earlier, he was in Barca B. Quite a step, you could say.
Look at mbappe three years before 2018, he was sitting in his bedroom imaging what it could be with several Ronaldo posters. 2018 comes and he’s lifting the World Cup as one of the best players.
Yeetus Meeletus don’t compare mbappe to these legends yet, he has much much more things to achieve.

1:01:35 I was touched to see Busquets who was in front running far back because he saw Cassilas crying alone. We know that at that time El Clasico was heating up. They're rivals at the club, but when defending the country, they unite and forget about rivalry.

As a Spaniard Ive noticed that everybody talks about Spain, but I would like to mention the Netherlands as they played such a great WC, they didnt win because there was a little genius named Andrés Iniesta, he managed to be in the right place in the right moment, and he won the tournament when all the players were exhausted. Only one can win, but Netherlands can be really really proud of their players and fans. All the best from Spain.

Any other referee would have send a few players off. A really lack of fairplay which not to be proud of. They will be always remembered because of it...
