I have been using the TSD Card for a year and a half now. It has saved us on fuel more than once. You just have to be careful at some of the truck stops that go to. They can be very busy at times. When you are done fueling please pull forward and get out of the way so the next guy can get fuel.
We feel like you, kinda like it "a little bit". We've found out west the discounts are only about 4 bucks for each 100 bucks spent. Diesel here now is 5.35 a gallon, I put in a hundred yesterday and my savings was 3.98. But hey, That bought me a Big Mac.
We have almost the identical truck (ours might be a year or 2 newer…same color tho!) and a Cougar…32’ TT though. When we’re hauling, we specifically seek out truck stops. I do not have the TDS card…yet, but I will prepay with credit card. Takes a few minutes extra to run in and back, but no longer than a semi driver to pump a couple hundred gallons to my 30. I’d rather pay the premium than have to jockey 65’+ of truck and trailer into an automotive lane. Will have to look into this TDS thing.
