Another good video. I have had the TSD Card for a while but did not know about the Open Roads App. Which looks like I can save about 60 cents a gallon by driving a few minutes down the road. And also, the Garmin RV GPS. Looking into those now...
Welcome to our neck of the woods. We use the Gas Buddy app all the time. If you are looking for good pizza in the Houston area, Brother’s pizza is awesome. So glad you got your rig back.
We have an Airstream Interstate 24GT. My only hesitation about getting the card is the need to fuel in the truck lanes. I just feel like we'd be seen as getting in the way of the professional truck drivers, many of whom already despise RV'ers. Any chance they'll set it up for all diesel pumps in the future?
So unfortunately it's not that Open Roads choices not to do that, they are different systems and because of how the professional drivers systems I don't see a time when they can integrate. With that being said, we have chatted with a ton of Pro Drivers and for the most part they don't mind the RV'ers as long as we follow there rules. Pump then pull up so the next rig can get to the pump, and try to be gone by the time the Truck is done fulling!
I have a 110 gallon auxiliary tank plus I use a card that gives me 5% off plus I use GasBuddy that I can find cheap diesel. My friend has 26 gallon tank and he uses OpenRoads and brags about the money he saves
@jimmycrumpler1853 we save an average of about $.68 per gallon using our Open Roads card. And we’re not even very strict, I’ve met some people that save upwards of a dollar.
I know this video is roughly a year old, but I have a question... I just received my Open Roads EFS Fuel Card. On the front it has TSD logistics Inc and TDS Open Roads. My name/company name isnt on the card itself anywhere. Is this correct or did I receive someone else's card by mistake? Thanks
Hey, sorry we are just now seeing this. You are good! that’s how the fuel get billed back to open roads then they process and charge you and you get a settlement invoice in your email / app!
With the Open Roads card at the time of filming it was actually cheaper at the TA after the discount, we do love us some Buc-ees though! Also we like being able to swing thru the truck lanes, easier to maneuver with a 45 foot 5th wheel!
We got the TSD card this year..used it several tines and definitely makes sense to get.
We have .loved having it, made travel days a little easier!

We love the GPS, wish it had a website or app to trip plan, so we plan in RV Trip wizard and then just add everything in to the GPS the night before!

Happy Thanksgiving
Same to you!
Thanks for sharing. Is there a TSD Logistics Gas card? Let us know, thanks. Dave.
Kinda l, it’s a pass thru card to a personal checking account, but they do offer discounts at partner fuel stations!
Hi friends. How can I add a new card in my app ?
I lost the first one card and now I got the second one. I need to add the new card in my app right?
So you need to jump on the website and email them. We just had to do the same thing just a bit ago!
Is Walmart diesel cheaper
We have found that after using the TSD discount most other options are still much cheaper.

Why would you hit a TS if there’s a Buc-ees? The fuel is cheaper.
