Learning drills from my friend who was a scholastic golfer helps my game to this day. He taught me drills 25 years ago that I still use today. In short, well done
What are you "feeling" at address though? You're not going to know if you've hit a good shot until after so to me it seems like you need some way to measure if your ball position is right.
Ok so I’m trying to figure out where to stand when hitting flop shots/pitching wedges and I just finished one where they said to do the complete opposite of what you just said. Now I’m confused again.
Nay. The ball moves back from the front heel but the stance also gets a bit wider. You think that 10” between the heels will work for driver. Dude, no.
This positioning is over complicated and doesn’t work for me. It actually caused me to almost quit golf until I learned about the Jack/hogan method. BTW just stating my experience so not hating on you 😊. Keep on coaching coach 👍

I use the Hogan Nicklaus Norman method; about 2 inches inside left heel and narrow the stance with mid/ shorter clubs
such a good video well done
Oh my gosh! Way cool 😎!! Great hack!
“Can’t recommend enough you drawing on these golf balls”
Well that’s excellent, considering I hit draws on my golf balls all the time
I think teaching people based on feel is a lot more important.

If I play my ball that far back in my stance with a wedge I blade the ball!!!
Then you can’t add spin!
Awesome.... Awesome...... AWESOME tips!

Every video I watch on position says something different

Great point. That change in stance width is why you have to measure back from the lead heel. And HEEL. Not toe. Very well stated, Dan.
