Fingers crossed 🤞🏾, though I doubt Stillantis would be willing to take that risk. I think it’d be cool if they took the frame of the classic 2 door Ram 1500, give it the grill from the Wagoneer & the interior from the Grand Cherokee w/392 engine! It’s the perfect parts bin vehicle. But it’s just me, wishful thinking.

Ryan, DO NOT CAVE. Stand firm. Wait for a manual. If your forever vehicle is supposed to have three pedals and two sticks and you settle for an automatic you will regret it.
Ordered already! I think I would much prefer a manual JK/TJ/YJ project in the future! I'll get my perfect manual one day. Thanks for the comment! -Ryan
@@DIRTROADCRED I agree that you will regret it. This is the second time I thought I was over manual transmission and here I am waiting for Jeep to figure this out.
My 2024 Wrangler, which is a 6-speed manual, took 9 months to come in. After putting 200 miles on it, the transmission is now bucking in 3rd and 4th gear. Jeep is trying to find out what the problem is. But here I am, without my brand-new Jeep. Needless to say, I am not happy.
I ordered a Rubicon X in Anvil with a manual on April 24th. I talked to the dealership yesterday and they said it’s in D status still and they have no idea when it’s going into production. They are calling the Area Sales Manager tomorrow. I’m in Cleveland OH. I’m thinking of canceling the order and just getting an automatic rubicon x that’s on the lot. I really want a manual though..I’ll keep you updated on what they hear from the ASM tomorrow.
I ordered a 2 dr manual sarge green 3.6 rubicon in early February 2023, it went to D1 within a week, then on to "in production", and has not moved since (its been 28 weeks). By April my best effort at research found that there was only going to be another software fix for the clutch issue (existing jeeps would get a clutch replaced with the same part first, and then the new software). I also found out that the estimate for the new software being available would not be until the end of September. At that point (in April) I changed my order to a 2024 3.6L 2dr automatic Rubicon X in Sarge green with the factory winch. I took delivery on that this week! My original order of the 2023 manual is still stuck in production with no estimated delivery date..... You also mentioned that you had not seen many 3.6 in the 2024, but mine came in 14 weeks. By the way, I LOVE it!
I bought a Gladiator Rubicon (2023) a couple month ago, the dealer took $4k off and the factory had $4k off the $62k MSRP. Still a lot of money for a truck, but I do like it. I wish it got better MPG but I knew going in that I wasn't buying an economy vehicle.
I ordered a JL 2 Door Manual on 2/4.... 2/13 D1 Status..... A month later came the recall. At the end of May it was being built. I took Delivery 6/29. The Jeep came with no recall to the dealer so I would assume it was built with the fix. Whether or not the fix was corrected properly I don't really know. Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions.
I purchased the Gladiator Rubicon with the manual Transmission. loved the way it walked on top of the snow on Goodyear MTR's (35") tires on the Rubicon trail. Guys on 37" and 40" tires with the autobox would just dig and sink. I love the control that manual transmissions have. Hopefully they get the teck right for the autos so they can compete with the manual trans.
I ordered a Wrangler 2dr Rubicon manual this Spring. Two weeks after ordering the tranny recall happened. I waited 3 months; no Jeep. Dealer stated that even if it came in they couldn't let me have it because of the recall. No Jeep until recall was rectified. I CANCELLED my order via the Dealership; said I never signed up for this BS and walked away. They refunded my deposit. I went 200 miles away and bought a brand new 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium in Lunar Rock for $7500 less than that Rubicon. I can trust Toyota and the reliability. I really wanted a Wrangler but not the bs that came with it. It was only a sign of other things to come from Stelantis. No Thank You. Satisfied 4Runner owner. Jeep needs to get their shit together.
I love my gladiator mojave (manual transmission), but they are fully pricing themselves out of the market. With the discounts they are offering them for, it sounds like a great time to order one for the channel for a steal (especially with the refresh coming). It should have came with the 5.7 v8, but of course they didn't think that far ahead or listen to their customer base. The biggest weakness of the gladiator is stellantis leadership.
the 3.6 and 2.0t is right for the two door, ok for 4 door. but gladiator is really pushing it. its not like the 5.7 hemi is all that expensive to produce. can't just stretch a platform by 1/3 and use the same drivetrain.
I love Hemi motors and I had to buy the 2023 wrangler 392 and it’s gonna be my 1 lifetime vehicle that I will never get rid of , but your right we need more Hemi’s from factory and the 5.7L would be very popular and highly sought after vehicle.
I ordered a 2 door sport with a manual, simply because the order form does not even ALLOW you to choose an automatic with the 3.6 until you hit the Rubicon, which is friggin’ stupid.
I work at toledo north, and sometimes I get sent to the end of the line and haven't seen a manual in the manual. My guess is because automatics is a higher demand. I think there's a little supply and demand type thing going on. I'm sure the recalls are playing a role, too.
Ordered a manual June 10, nothing happened except a VIN. The dealer just got a couple automatics in so I canceled and bought the automatic. Very disappointed in Stellentis for not being honest if they have a problem, came very close to canceling the whole deal. And I only live 70 miles from Toledo.
So I ordered my Manuel transmission Jeep rubicon X may 29th 2024……it went to D1 status September……and finally was done being built Dec 7. It’s left the rail yard, so maybe by the end of the year I’ll have it. 🤞🏻 no recalls this year!
I have the manual and got the recall on the clutch that said "we have no fix, sit tight, we'll get back to you when we know how to fix it" and it's been radio silence since then. In the mean time I'm just hoping the clutch doesn't die before then lol.
I’m going to order a 2 door with a manual and let the chips fall where they may. I’m looking forward to you having a conversation with Lindsey to see what she has to say! Please keep us posted…
YES to Canada Dealership Affiliate! Canada does not even allow you to order the Manual! None of the Dealers in Ontario, Canada seem to be able to order it. Are you able to understand why we can build a Manual on the Jeep Canada website, but we cannot order it?
Are you hearing anything on the hurricane going in the gladiator? Will AMW put a hurricane in? Look to build an overland gladiator with an Alu-cab on it.
I was strongly considering a manual JL. Even with the recall, I thought, "well, at least i can get them to remedy the situation right away before it becomes an issue. Then I saw what the actual recall was. Not a mechanical replacement, just a software update to reduce the available torque!
Tried to put in a order for a manual 2 dr JLR. My dealer was telling me that they attempted to click on the manual option but it would not allow them to put in the order for it. Truly saddening, but I wonder. Would the manual option possibly open up in the future? As it stands, is the issue with the manual due to the issues with the manual? This gives me a reason to keep on holding on to my 6 spd 09 JKUR.
Spent all day yesterday, Saturday, looking at new Jeep Wranglers. Drove a 2024 2-door Rubicon. Loved it. Saw a 4-door Rubicon X in sarge green. Dealership was closed. It also had a factory installed winch. Definitely going back and checking it out. Saw a BUNCH of Gladiators. It's on my short list too. Just not sure. The 392 is just to expensive. Tried to justify it and can't. Using your videos as a research tool too. Might head down to Dan Cummings next Saturday to shop around though.
I ordered my manual jeep wrangler 4 door sport s, with a hard top, side steps, and the convenience group on July 10. It was scheduled for production on November 29, in production December 14, built December 17, shipped December 18, and arrived at dealership December 25. I figured mine took about an extra month due to the strike. I also live in St. Louis, so not too far from Toledo.
Got a ‘19 JL (heavily modded) and ‘22 Gladiator (stock) both manual. Only manuals for me, unless the wrangler has a cool full EV with live axles F/R. My JL clutch burned up (not on fire) driving on a beach and got replaced on my own dime… irritating but not a show stopper. The new clutch seems to be going strong. The Gladiator is awesome, but needs more power. I’m no speed demon, but going up small mountains means skip shift downshifting.
My manual transmission Rubicon order was processed MAY 3 third. It has NOT Left C status as of today . That is OVER 14 Weeks. I since did a automatic order . Placed it this past Saturday
Surely they are not putting the same manual trans. in the 2024s that were a problem in the 2023s? I have a hold on a 2023 Gladiator with a manual trans. on the dealer lot that I cannot have until the recall is resolved. Who knows when they will get these 2023s sorted. Madness!
Not sure if you guys have covered this before, but I was curious if you had any insight on the 3.0 Diesel recall. One of my friends has a JLUR with the Diesel, and it has been a few months now that she has not been able to pick up her Jeep. I don't know the exact specifics of the issue, but Jeep is not communicating on a remedy for the issue. My friend last updated last week, and her Jeep is still stuck at a dealership waiting for whatever it may be. Any insight I am able to pass along would be greatly appreciated!
The only one I know about is the high pressure fuel pump. We were going to buy a new one, and they had a stop sale on it. Impacts a lot of vehicles, and that’s a lot of fuel pumps to source and replace.
I've been to several dealers looking at Gladiators and they've discounted them up to $8-9k but then the dealer comes out with the sales contract and adds a bunch of junk addons that for me are worthless up to $4k for fob protection, dent repair, wheel locks, etc so there goes about half the discount they were offering initially. You tell the dealer you don't want that stuff and they say sorry its already on the car so you have to take it. So I won't be buying a Wrangler or Gladiator with that dealer addon stuff. If they can't sell me a car like I want it then I'll go somewhere else.
Just bought a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon. 4-door, 3.6l, manual, 4.10 gears, standard tires. Not sure what’s up with this transmission, but it’s not good. My Jeep is bone stock. On a recent trip from GA to TN, it couldn’t maintain highway speeds while climbing hills. Had to downshift twice. Feels bad when a 1992 4-door sedan with barely any paint on it passes you. My Jeep has less than 2k miles on it. All I’m thinking now is: sell it, or re-gear it?
Drop prices. Start letting people order the equipment they want, not what Jeep wants for them! You should be allowed to order lockers on ANY model of Jeep! If I wanted to order a Jeep stripped down but with lockers, I should be able to.
I wanted a gladiator but when I was in the market the prices were out of control went with a Tacoma TRD off-road so I’d have a rear locker… Now I’m in the waiting room since June for my 2 door manual JL
Two years ago I wanted a Jeep Gladiator but the pricing was way high for what you were getting. I wound up getting a Chevrolet Colorado ZR-2. Way more standard options, like front and rear lockers, and 15 K less than a comparable Gladiator. Still have my Wrangler 2-door.
I placed an order for the 6 speed MT on March 30… it’s been at C(D) status for 136 days 😢 Considering cancelling that and just getting an automatic at this point tbh
I'm in Canada. I put a down payment on a manual 2024 Rubi almost a month ago. We actually can't even place 2024 manual orders up here. I keep getting the same "not this week" update from my dealerships and their ability to even place my order 😭😭😭it's SOOOO frustrating
We have a manual JL on order 62 days in C (vin has been generated, so D apparently). It's a Sport - S with a hard top, LEDs, and some other odds and ends (floor mats etc.) as options... Fingers crossed.
The recall is for the flywheel. If you slip a lot/too much. The flywheel will get too hot and can fracture and explode out of the bell housing. New clutch/new flywheel and some other stuff is part of the recall. Also, I would still order another one. I'm also going to get an ACT JP6 clutch with promass flywheel in the future anyway.
I ordered a Willys sport back in May 2022 and I got manual I received it in September 9th 2022 had it 7 months got the recall letter went to my dealership and informed me they had no solution to resolve the clutch issue so I traded it off
Great news! I believe the price drop will give the Gladiator a competitive edge. On the manual transmission; I believe you tend to tilt towards an automatic one as you get older like me. Great video.
Any reason you don’t work with Susquehanna anymore? Looking to buy my first jeep sometime in the nearish future and happen to live down the road from them
Ordered a '24 4-dr Rubicon manual on May 9th, still in D status not scheduled. Options: Firecracker Red / Black 3-piece Hard top / Safety Grp / Tech Grp / Conv Grp
@@DIRTROADCREDForgot to send an update. Picked it up couple days before Christmas. It was well worth the wait. The manual jeep is alot of fun to drive. I'm sure the strike had something to do with it but May - December, a little over 7 months to wait. I'm glad I did. I can't be happier. I've been wanting to get back into a manual for a long time and this is a great vehicle for it.
I wish Jeep would allow us in Oz to get all the other engine options (to order at least), not just the 3.6 😢 lol Any news on the hurricane engine? Not that I want a turbocharged wrangler (prefer NA) but hey better than the 3.6 for a 4door and towing.
Spot-on for just about everything. I drove a Mojave for two years, and pretty quickly couldn’t stand the Penastar 3.6L. It’s small inside, the back doors are unnecessarily tiny, and the bed is nothing to write home about. When I saw a TRX on a lot nearby that was only $20k more than what I paid for my Gladiator, it was hard to say no. You get so much more truck for your money with a Ram. Heck, if you’re looking for a midsize in the Gladiator price range, I would get a Ram Rebel all day. They have the 5.7L v8, and the list of awesome features that you get both inside the cab and in the bed is too long to post. All the Gladiator really has going for it is the Jeep coolness. Other than taking the doors and top off, it’s really not best at anything.
Bought a 2022 Rebel last year for exactly the reasons you stated. Level 2 interior, premium leather seats and a whole list of other goodies for $65K. Getting my Jeep fix with a 2 door that is on order. Gladiator needs a V8!
Ordered a 2024 Willys in Anvil with a soft top and manual trans on 7/6/23. Sitting in "C" status. Don't expect to see any movement anytime soon. It is a second vehicle and having been without a Jeep for the past 12 years, I can wait as long as it takes.
I hope to see a price drop on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon in V6. I’d like to upgrade 😊 but I don’t foresee that happening. MSRP increased and trade in value has declined.
On July 15, I ordered a 2-door soft top Sport. White, manual, all-weather floor mats, and heavy rockers. It's still in Confirmed. I live in SLC, UT. Absolutely no way I will even consider an automatic.
its strange to me that they'd issue this open recall with no remedy for this long. i got killed on my trade in sahara because of it, but i really don't recommend manual in that model. rubicon for sure, i think it's the gear ratios and i dig it way more. the problem with mine is the corrosion, which also has such a crazy delay. drives me nuts.
I've been waiting all year for my 2023 JLRU manual, steel bumpers, trail cameras, cold weather, safty group, trailer group, LED group, hardtop. I live in Canada.
I purchased my 22’ gladiator from Dan Cummins in Georgetown Kentucky last May. Their service and just the overall dealing with them was a great buyer experience all the way around. I absolutely love my gladiator. I’ve had lifted four wheel drive trucks all my life and I can say it’s by far been my favorite vehicle. There are some issues that need dealt with in them straight up and knowing what those are is key. This was the first Jeep I’ve ever had myself. As far as power...I’m running 37” tires on a 3.5” Clayton overland plus lift and getting 16mpg. To me that’s pretty good. I had a 2012 Cummins diesel with 37’s on a 5” lift and at best got 11mpg. But it was still a torque monster 💪.I traded in a 2019 Chevy trail boss with a leveling kit and 35” nitto ridge grapplers. It averaged 12.5 mpg and was absolutely a dog with the 5.3 auto six speed. I can honestly say I am still amazed at how well my gladiator handles even power wise as a V6 these big ole tires. Yes the price was getting up there on them due to growing popularity and demand. Just be smart about your money and find a good dealership. But honestly also, there is no other midsize truck that will get you places the gladiator will ! Only thing close is going to be the full size Ram power wagon. Nothing compares to being able to keep all four wheels on the ground for traction the way a Jeep or power wagon does. I’ve experienced it personally. No it’s not a Hellcat motor or even close. But for what it is it does a fantastic job. It is a Jeep that likes to do truck things. It gets a bad reputation from those who purchase it thinking it’s gonna replace a full size truck in my opinion. I’m perfectly happy with mine and it’s going to stick around a long time as the adventures in places I could never take my family...still continue ✌️
Hey since y’all have affiliate with Dan Cummins could y’all convince them to get a deal with amw or another swap shop to sell base sport v8 gladiators for 65-70k, that would be great.
Im from canada . And tried to build the same willy i got last year the 2023 and it cost 10 000$ more than i paid and you cant get the v6 anymore thats insane!
I think you should do a 4xe build it’s unique and let’s face it they are an awesome Jeep in all platforms. I was fortunate enough to get a 20th anniversary 4xe and I love it! Would love to see you do a build on the 4xe!
You're in KY? I just recently started getting bit by the off-road bug and wanting a jeep. I'm going to go ahead and subscribe to my fellow KY boys and start soaking in all the off-road and jeep info that I can in preparation to owning one hopefully next year.
I think Jeep could help themselves out if they didn’t charge so much for the automatic transmission and the engine choices. They should have all the tooling paid for by now on the 3.6 liter and the automatic. It’s been the same for years now. I think the last time I built a Willys it was $4000 for an automatic transmission. That’s pretty ridiculous. Thanks for all the new wrangler and gladiator info! Keep up the good work!
I've got a 21 Willys Gladiator now and have a 24 Willys Wrangler 2 door with a manual on order, placed 7/11 and it's still just confirmed. My salesman told me it could take up to 6 months to get and with the possible UAW strike who knows when or if I'll get it.
Canadian here from Barrie, Ontario. We'd LOVE a dealership affiliate program. Prices here are pretty bad. And speaking of manuals, I will always buy one no matter the wait time. That being said, I can only imagine the cost of my Rubicon build if I had to add an auto transmission. For a manual 4 door Rubicon with heated seats / steering, steel bumper and winch, black freedom hardtop, all weather floor mats, a 4.88 rear axle ratio, and the upgraded machined wheels with black pockets....over $62,000 USD (after taxes). That's for a white one, would need to add a couple hundred for other colours.
Yeah, where is the logic behind? Not allowing the extreme recon package to be paired with a manual transmission? I just don’t understand. The manual is way more fun to drive than an automatic, especially in a off-road vehicle or a sports car.
2024 MT Willys ordered 6/20 still in C status (54 days as of 8/13). No feedback from the dealer (Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Owings Mills MD 21117) . I don't see delivery before Christmas :(
Yes! Jeep are not cheap in Canada. I bought a 4doors Rubicon in March 2021 (very basic with 6 speed M) and it cost me 64K!. Now for a 2024 modele with same options than mine is about 76k.
I ordered a manual a week and a half ago not knowing about the delay. If I knew about it I still would have ordered it. For me if it was an automatic I would have walked away
I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator. I bought new. I agree it needs an upgrade. Pricing is way higher now than when I bought. I tested a Raptor, still bought my Gladiator and I absolutely love it!
Another amazing video! Yes the gladiator is imo the best midsize truck on the market… yes the price is higher but your getting a convertible truck which no one else offers… I love my gladiator but I do wish it was a manual transmission. Great video!! Keep up the incredible work 👍
I agree with you that the gladiator needs a two-door version and also needs to come standard with the B&M transmission shifter. the stock shifter is junk. I don't think Jeep wants you to buy manual transmission anymore. If Jeep had offered the B and M transmission as an option I would've taken it... ended up selling my 2011 in two years because I couldn't stand the manual transmission anymore. And, I am a manual transmission guy. Too bad.
I personally don’t mind my automatic. The new manuals just don’t feel right to me. I would probably go with the rubicon x with 4.88 gears and half doors with automatic trans and call it good. That is if you can order all of those optiona together.
What do you mean by "new manual?" I drove a JL (2022) and it felt great compared to my previous TJ and JK. The shift pattern had tightened up nicely, which was always annoying that it had that huge sweep in the shifting.
Thanks for featuring my Jeep! Pretty awesome to see it on your channel! ~ Mike
Thanks for submitting Mike!
It that the mopar bull bar on your front bumper?
Gladiator needs a 2 door!

Manual 24 Rubicon ordered in July. D1 status still and no sign of any change…
Are you hearing anything on the hurricane going in the gladiator? Will AMW put a hurricane in? Look to build an overland gladiator with an Alu-cab on it.
Nothing yet on Stellantis side of things. AMW will put ANYTHING in a gladiator!
Question of the week sir. Can a Mopar Snorkel be paired with a light bar? And which one?
Thank you sir!!
Let me look into some options
I was strongly considering a manual JL. Even with the recall, I thought, "well, at least i can get them to remedy the situation right away before it becomes an issue.
Then I saw what the actual recall was. Not a mechanical replacement, just a software update to reduce the available torque!
It is a mechanical clutch issue.
bad clutch plate?@@johncena6701
Tried to put in a order for a manual 2 dr JLR. My dealer was telling me that they attempted to click on the manual option but it would not allow them to put in the order for it.
Truly saddening, but I wonder. Would the manual option possibly open up in the future? As it stands, is the issue with the manual due to the issues with the manual?
This gives me a reason to keep on holding on to my 6 spd 09 JKUR.
That's unfortunate. Maybe once the recall is all fixed
Love to hear it! Let us know what you decide
The recall on my 19 manual, still doesn't have a mopar solution. ....FYI
Interesting..
My manual transmission Rubicon order was processed MAY 3 third. It has NOT Left C status as of today . That is OVER 14 Weeks. I since did a automatic order . Placed it this past Saturday
Did you cancel your other order?
@DIRTROADCRED I just ordered an automatic. The dealership will take delivery when the Manuel Rubicon x comes in and sell it to someone else
Surely they are not putting the same manual trans. in the 2024s that were a problem in the 2023s? I have a hold on a 2023 Gladiator with a manual trans. on the dealer lot that I cannot have until the recall is resolved. Who knows when they will get these 2023s sorted. Madness!
I waited 5 months and just got mine this week super happy so far 2024 willys 6 speed
Placed an order with Lindsey on July 17 for a 2-door Sport S 3.6L with a manual. Is still in order confirmed status as of today.
Placed my order for white 2-door manual soft top with mats and rockers on July 15. Vin created. That's it.
Hoping for some movement soon
Not sure if you guys have covered this before, but I was curious if you had any insight on the 3.0 Diesel recall. One of my friends has a JLUR with the Diesel, and it has been a few months now that she has not been able to pick up her Jeep.
I don't know the exact specifics of the issue, but Jeep is not communicating on a remedy for the issue. My friend last updated last week, and her Jeep is still stuck at a dealership waiting for whatever it may be.
Any insight I am able to pass along would be greatly appreciated!
Haven't seen the diesel recall. Will look into it!
The only one I know about is the high pressure fuel pump. We were going to buy a new one, and they had a stop sale on it. Impacts a lot of vehicles, and that’s a lot of fuel pumps to source and replace.
I have a 2023 2 door Willys with the 6 spd manual, 5000 miles no issues so far. You can check it out if you like.
Send us some photos!
Question: when will aftermarket parts for 24s be out? I don’t see a ‘24 selection for Bestop, Bullet Proof Mounts, extreme terrain, etc. Thoughts?
I think as more 2024s hit the lots parts will be added. Our venders are working to get theirs all solidified for September.
Also, how can we take a regular jeep JL and add on a one touch top. Can you do a video or talk about that? Will from Aurora I’ll
Hope your 2 door gets moved forward soon!
Whats happening with the vinyl seat and optional vinyl floor? I don't see it on the US or Canadian 2024 model options
Two years ago I wanted a Jeep Gladiator but the pricing was way high for what you were getting.
I wound up getting a Chevrolet Colorado ZR-2. Way more standard options, like front and rear lockers,
and 15 K less than a comparable Gladiator. Still have my Wrangler 2-door.
Keep the 2 door!
I placed an order for the 6 speed MT on March 30… it’s been at C(D) status for 136 days 😢
Considering cancelling that and just getting an automatic at this point tbh
Placed an order for jlu rubicon3.6 in 6/7 then D1 at 6/22 now 52 days later no movement
Ugh, sorry to hear! We feared that
I'm in Canada. I put a down payment on a manual 2024 Rubi almost a month ago. We actually can't even place 2024 manual orders up here. I keep getting the same "not this week" update from my dealerships and their ability to even place my order 😭😭😭it's SOOOO frustrating
I ordered a 2023 2-door willys with a manual in late December. I got mid-July.
Thanks for letting us know!
sSo the gist is wait till 2025 models, just to be safe?
Dealers in NY are not even taking orders for manual transmissions at this time.
Jeeeeez
We have a manual JL on order 62 days in C (vin has been generated, so D apparently). It's a Sport - S with a hard top, LEDs, and some other odds and ends (floor mats etc.) as options... Fingers crossed.
I ordered my rubicon x in April. Still in D status.
Hoping for some movement soon! Keep us updated
I ordered a Willys sport back in May 2022 and I got manual I received it in September 9th 2022 had it 7 months got the recall letter went to my dealership and informed me they had no solution to resolve the clutch issue so I traded it off
That sucks! sorry to hear
Great news! I believe the price drop will give the Gladiator a competitive edge. On the manual transmission; I believe you tend to tilt towards an automatic one as you get older like me. Great video.
Fingers crossed!
Any reason you don’t work with Susquehanna anymore? Looking to buy my first jeep sometime in the nearish future and happen to live down the road from them
Dirt Road Cred was our future!
Ordered a '24 4-dr Rubicon manual on May 9th, still in D status not scheduled. Options: Firecracker Red / Black 3-piece Hard top / Safety Grp / Tech Grp / Conv Grp
Keep us updated!
@@WreckedBrewery Thanks for the update!
I wish Jeep would allow us in Oz to get all the other engine options (to order at least), not just the 3.6 😢 lol
Any news on the hurricane engine? Not that I want a turbocharged wrangler (prefer NA) but hey better than the 3.6 for a 4door and towing.
Nothing on the Hurricane yet!
I have a Willys manual on order, 67 days so far in C/D. But when it does come in, it will be what I wanted.
What about the by radio? Is it possible to move it to 2018 jeep Sahara do something where we talk about the radio I enjoy your videos.
Bought a Rubicon Gladiator 6 months ago with 6k off. loaded interior. Such an awesome vehicle.
Right on! Glad you're loving it
I have a manual Wrangler on order over a month. No production date set.
It is frustrating!
Yes! Being a Canadian I’d love to see a dealership affiliation with you guy! Oh and a loaded Gladiator Diesel with tax in Nova Scotia is $101,000!
Wow! Looking into some dealers.
Is that CAD if yes that would = USD75,000
@@iFanchi closer to $70,000 with the current exchange rate
@dirtroadCred I have a question about the 2 door jeep wrangler. Wondering if the two-door Rub. manual come with the half-float dana 44?
Definitely needs some much needed upgrades!
Bought a 2022 Rebel last year for exactly the reasons you stated. Level 2 interior, premium leather seats and a whole list of other goodies for $65K. Getting my Jeep fix with a 2 door that is on order. Gladiator needs a V8!
@@GMS-jt3nnThat’s why you marry a shorty that drives a 2-door and you get the best of both worlds! 😂
Ordered a 2024 Willys in Anvil with a soft top and manual trans on 7/6/23. Sitting in "C" status. Don't expect to see any movement anytime soon. It is a second vehicle and having been without a Jeep for the past 12 years, I can wait as long as it takes.
I'm Canadian and the Willys I ordered cost me 73k that's not the extreme recon.
I have a 2021 jeep Wrangler with a manual with 250k miles original clutch. Dealer said recall but no parts yet. They will keep me posted.
Keep us updated!
Right on!
I think the hurricane TT would be great in this thing
its strange to me that they'd issue this open recall with no remedy for this long. i got killed on my trade in sahara because of it, but i really don't recommend manual in that model. rubicon for sure, i think it's the gear ratios and i dig it way more. the problem with mine is the corrosion, which also has such a crazy delay. drives me nuts.
Needs to top out around 55k. Anything more and you’re in full size price category.
Agreed!
Would LOVE to see a Canadian dealer affiliate.! White rock is in BC - need something in the Toronto area - where 1/4 of the Canadian population lives.
Looking into some dealers!
I've been waiting all year for my 2023 JLRU manual, steel bumpers, trail cameras, cold weather, safty group, trailer group, LED group, hardtop. I live in Canada.
Good luck!
Glad you had a great experience! Thanks for the comment!
Hey since y’all have affiliate with Dan Cummins could y’all convince them to get a deal with amw or another swap shop to sell base sport v8 gladiators for 65-70k, that would be great.
Working out some stuff with all parties 👀
Getting that floating rear axle or another way to get more cargo capacity/hitch weight into the Gladiator will lower a lot of hurdles for buyers.
I'm located up in British Columbia and I can confirm that both WRD and Epic are some legit solid folks.
The island folk are a little strange tho
Awesome!
Im from canada . And tried to build the same willy i got last year the 2023 and it cost 10 000$ more than i paid and you cant get the v6 anymore thats insane!
That's nuts!
I think you should do a 4xe build it’s unique and let’s face it they are an awesome Jeep in all platforms. I was fortunate enough to get a 20th anniversary 4xe and I love it! Would love to see you do a build on the 4xe!
Might be a future project 👀
You're in KY? I just recently started getting bit by the off-road bug and wanting a jeep. I'm going to go ahead and subscribe to my fellow KY boys and start soaking in all the off-road and jeep info that I can in preparation to owning one hopefully next year.
We are out of central PA! Our dealership partner is out of Kentucky. We will be down there frequently
Valid! Thanks for watching
I've got a 21 Willys Gladiator now and have a 24 Willys Wrangler 2 door with a manual on order, placed 7/11 and it's still just confirmed. My salesman told me it could take up to 6 months to get and with the possible UAW strike who knows when or if I'll get it.
Also a PA resident Delco, Chester Co border.
6 months seems like the time frame for the manuals
You're not far at all! When it comes in send us some pics
Ordered my manual 2-Door Willys on May 2nd, still in C status. 11 days and counting.
Hoping for movement soon!
Horrible backlog on ordering wrangler rubicon x, expect 3 months or more and dealers in dark. Ordered 7/6 and still not scheduled.
Keep us updated!
You can't get a manual Sahara with a 4.10 final drive. Beyond frustrating.
That is unfortunate
Yeah, where is the logic behind? Not allowing the extreme recon package to be paired with a manual transmission? I just don’t understand. The manual is way more fun to drive than an automatic, especially in a off-road vehicle or a sports car.
2024 MT Willys ordered 6/20 still in C status (54 days as of 8/13). No feedback from the dealer (Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Owings Mills MD 21117) . I don't see delivery before Christmas :(
Read my comment. They won’t be here in 2023.
Hoping for some movement soon! Keep us updated
*Update - took delivery 12/22/2023. Took some time but am happy I waited.
Yes! Jeep are not cheap in Canada. I bought a 4doors Rubicon in March 2021 (very basic with 6 speed M) and it cost me 64K!. Now for a 2024 modele with same options than mine is about 76k.
Wow!
I ordered a manual a week and a half ago not knowing about the delay. If I knew about it I still would have ordered it. For me if it was an automatic I would have walked away
Waiting game begins!
I ordered a Rubicon X 3.6 Automatic with Warn winch, All weather floor mats and Door sill guards 7 weeks ago. Still in D status.
I wonder if the floor matts are holding it up
@@DIRTROADCRED Maybe and at one point the rep said they were out of tailgate reinforcements.
I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator. I bought new. I agree it needs an upgrade. Pricing is way higher now than when I bought. I tested a Raptor, still bought my Gladiator and I absolutely love it!
Awesome!
Ordered a 2-door sport MANUAL at the beginning of June
It's still in C status.
Ordered one July 15. VIN created. That's it.
Hoping for some movement soon! Thanks for the update!
Waiting to order a manual 2024 gladiator hopefully in Tuscedero Pink
Tuscedero to the gladiator would be sick!
Another amazing video! Yes the gladiator is imo the best midsize truck on the market… yes the price is higher but your getting a convertible truck which no one else offers… I love my gladiator but I do wish it was a manual transmission. Great video!! Keep up the incredible work 👍
Send us some phots of your gladiator!
I would still order a manual as looking to purchase a two door Willy's.
We have heard that too!
What do you mean by "new manual?" I drove a JL (2022) and it felt great compared to my previous TJ and JK. The shift pattern had tightened up nicely, which was always annoying that it had that huge sweep in the shifting.
Still waiting for the manual fix recal on my 21 Willys 2 door 🤷🏻♂️. I am keeping the off road to a minimum until a fix is done on it.
damn, sorry to hear!
