Being a violinist for 18 yrs. I was waiting for someone to incorporate the beautiful sound of a violin into the harshness (in a good sense) of metal music, and the first one that did didn't disappoint. This band is fucking amazing. They are one of the few bands I auto download their music without even thinking. Enjoy the ride through their music, it's amazing. I'd also recommend listening to their older music like, The sickness, paralyzed, up and This is goodbye
I have always loved the violin i am 62 yrs old i have never play any instrument at other than i can play air violin do u think im to old to learn how to just learn how to play a song or 2 ???
Right here with you. Also 18 years of experience. May be biased a bit, but the violin is the most beautiful instrument mankind has ever created. To see it incorporated so perfectly (and an acoustic violin to boot - synth/electric simply is not capable of reproducing the sound of a wood violin) into melodic metalcore is just beautiful.
even tho im a extreme music aficionado! violin and piano have been my favorite instrument for ever. i totally get what you saying! Scars is one of my favorite from them
So happy you checked out 'IMMINENCE' hope you react to more of theirs like their other triology of videos being Paralyzed, Infectious, and Erase, also you missed out a video that was tied to Temptation, Ghost and Chasing Shadows called Heaven in Hiding, really good reaction. Their singer Eddie Berg is a true virtuoso from singing amazing cleans to guttering growls all while playing the violin masterfully.
Even if these guys don't have anything else in your opinion, you can't deny these guys have heart. And huge production value. Their music videos are absolutely film study level. Also helps their music is so hauntingly beautiful. Without the harsh vocals, without the heavy drums, the core of their melodies still carry so much dang emotion.
Great reaction! Imminence just seems to touch people emotiinally because they put in so much work to make you feel the emotion behind the song. On a different note, if you are looking to make pt2 one of their older songs that you might want to react to are: "infectious" (that one is a must). "Saturated soul acoustic version", "heaven in hiding" and perhaps a song from 2016 and one of my personal favs: "can we give it all"
That is so cool that you reacted to my brothers, and 4 songs! Wow! :D thanks in their name as well! And I love how much you appreciate the violin and also don't understand what the heck is going on but that's kinda the point I guess :D A mess in his head. :) Or, well, pretty much everyone's heads... So cool thanks!
If you love the violin, look up ths acoustic version of "This is Goodbye" where Eddie (lead vocals and violin) and Harald (lead guitar, backing vocals) play in a church
Heaven in Hiding is the title track of the album these three came from, it’s a must watch. Otherwise, I’d recommend Saturated Soul, Paralyzed, infectious, or erase. All good tracks that go a bit further back into their discography.
About the "Ghost"-video: I personally think it plays with the thoughts throughout the lyrics, that he is haunted by a ghost. In the video you can see his soul(when he is trapped in the glass cage) his body(surrounded by a tribe trying to do an exorcism to get rid of the ghost in his body) and what his mind experiences(when he is trapped in the coffin and sand pourring in, slowly choking him -> he feels like dying without anything he can do about it) I don't know if the ghost represents a specific form of anxiety or depression, but I think its safe to assume that his ghost represents this mental illness. Therefore the video shows how hard the fight against that illness can be and the end of the video shows how relieving gayning back control over yourself can be.
I think the ghost is reference to anything from his past that is hindered , to his growth . In a world where things are energy turning into labels , the image represents the label given . And to me his videos shows constant spiritual battles between himself. Earth. And the system created as he fights to exspell his past ghost to be the light for the new body
You reacted to 3 of the 4 newer releases. Heaven in Hiding is 2 of the 4. Definitely a cool video and song to also check out. Its definitely the "softest" of the 4 songs.
Love this band one of my top 5 listen to Heaven in hiding.and, Sickness. Your reactions are so refreshing and sincere. It's great to see your other reactions to other bands as well..I'm excited to watch you and the expansion of your journey in all types of music Rabbit Holes🐇💯💯💯💯🤟
Commenting before watching the whole video. I hope you did the acoustic video they have out. Soo, you have to check out the acoustic set. Trust me...it really shows the true talent of the singer. You have no idea what you're missing. Part 2 has to be the acoustic set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only 18 minutes!!!!
Nice reaction from this amazing band. I would highly recommend Heaven Shall Burn. They have also done great acoustic versions of their songs. Check out the official video and the vocal cover of both Erase and Infectious.
If You Dare: Slaughter To Prevail "Demolisher" and Lorna Shore "To The Hellfire". The vocalists for both bands are just out of this world as far as vocal technigue for this type of music. Even if you don't like this type of music, the amount of control to not completely destroy their voices reaching the sounds they are able to create is impressive in it's own right.
Glad to see these bands being appreciated by people who are based in other genres 😊 if you’d like to hear another metal band that also has a softer ambient side, I’d recommend LASTELLE! Still Wind, This Cage I Built Myself, and The Rooms We Lived In are personal favorites. Dance Gavin Dance is a great sort of pop rock band that uses harsh vocals too with some of my favorite songs being Care, Inspire the Liars, and Man of the Year. A couple other bands and songs to look into: Dopamine - Mountain Mover, Say Nothing - Sharptooth (female harsh vocalist), To the Hellfire - Lorna Shore, and anything by Unleash the Archers(power metal with female singer)!
As mentioned by other comments, you've missed "Heaven In Hiding" which is intended to be the second music video out of the four. It is one of my favorite songs of 2021 without a doubt
i think the glowing stone is like a false light. it may represent idk... anything that can make u "feel good" now but wont fix anything in the longr term. and everything in the vids is his mind convincing him to use the glowing stones and taking the easy wrong path instead of doing the hard right thing to do.
Would love to see you react to Aviana and all the videos they released for this album cycle. The vocalist of that band does literally everything himself, it's a one man band and its insanely impressive. You'd probably love their newest song Anomaly, but that is the last one you should check out lol
First time ever I´ve seen a reactor air guitaring on a bird while watching. How much do you want to react to the Imminence live acoustic concert in St Nicolai church? The whole concert is about 18 minutes.
Might I suggest Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope live in Colorado 2016? They have 2 vocalist. One sings pretty and plays violin. They are a progressive melodic metal band from Australia. This song is a bit long but well worth a listen. I’m actually surprised they haven’t been suggested yet.
If you want more metal with violins as a major piece, check out Ne Obliviscaris. They're a progressive death metal band, but they are phenomenal. Check out their song 'And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope"
There was one more single they came out with that was the title track of their album called "Heaven in Hiding". It is hands down my favourite track and the melodies are absolutely gorgeous in that one! I'm sure you'll like it :)
Please react to Leprous. Their vocalist is amazing. Leprous is a progressive metal band that changed their sound in their last two albums to be more pop. I recommend you listen to The Price, Restless, or The Cloak for their older stuff and Alleviate, or Castaway Angels for their newer stuff, but you can't go wrong with anything.
Please can you react to The Birthday Massacre ? It’s a rock band with a female vocalist and they’re so underrated. Here’s some songs you should react to by them: In The Dark, One, Beyond, Superstition, and Looking Glass
Just to let you know not to try to burst anybody's bubble but you don't have the videos in order it goes by temptation heaven in hiding then ghost then chasing Shadows thats order of how those videos and how they match up you have to do them in that order it's how they made the music videos to be
Please make reaction for metal band Make them Suffer (contraband, ether, fireworks) , they have beutiful women vocal with good symphonic. Sorry for my english)
You should check out Band-Maid. No kidding, they have made me love music again after over a decade of cynicism with modern music, which is a common sentiment among their fans. They have a tendency to feel nostalgic while something completely fresh. 8 albums/EPs, over 100 songs, countless singles, over 2 dozen music videos, another dozen official live videos, and a couple of their most well-regarded tracks aren't even on their official page (anymore). All spanning numerous spectrums of rock, punk, metal, prog and ballads. You should check them out. You will not be disappointed. Honestly, you might be the only music reaction youtuber that hasn't heard them yet lol. Impossible to narrow down their three best, I'll let you decide if you want their live videos: Domination Live ( ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html ) Freedom Live ( ua-cam.com/video/FHpuEqMAcDg/v-deo.html ) About Us Live ( ua-cam.com/video/qicgVAxCYV8/v-deo.html ) Or Music Videos: Warning ( ua-cam.com/video/9yD3IqrLtPk/v-deo.html ) Bubble ( ua-cam.com/video/T_PWQtc7zVw/v-deo.html ) Blooming ( ua-cam.com/video/uUt_JBMocKM/v-deo.html )
Please react to Tommy Johansson The leadguitarist in Sabaton and the leadsinger and songwriter on Majestica He has his own youtubechannel with a lot of cowers React to The power of love Celine Dion cower No it's not a joke His range is amacing
They also have beautiful acoustic music.
100% facts
Infectious acoustic will destroy you. I promise. Listen to it at least for yourself
@@qwerty70231 I'd argue Paralyzed is a better acoustic but its all personal preference.
@@Justin-nq6kferase is easily my favorite. the little solo after the chorus is hauntingly beautiful.
i hate the acoustic stuff. it's too drawn out.

The Sickness, is a sick ass song!
Right here with you. Also 18 years of experience. May be biased a bit, but the violin is the most beautiful instrument mankind has ever created. I love this band so much, they are beautiful!
Eddie has a way of singing with so much emotion, its easy to sing to people but hard to make them feel things.

Bad Omens is one of my fav other bands along with Imminence I am just happy to be alive to hear this amazing music.
rory of dayseeker and lucas of holding absence too!!
@@yballaw2714 Big agree with Rory/Dayseeker and Bad Omens (not familiar with Holding Absence tho, i'll check 'em out!)

This is the best band I could of came across about 2 years ago , good Ole temptations

They have another”heaven in hiding”
Great song
Great song choices!
Imminence live at st. Nikolai is worth a listen. It's stripped down versions recorded in a church. More of an experience really.
Little fun fact
The beginning of the temptation music video is the one song from the Heaven in Hiding album that doesn't have an english name
Well the bird seems to like it --- I can see him trying to get inside your headphones.
